  • The aim of this research was to detect and observe delivering generation effects from $F_0$ generation exposed to 4-nonylphenol 4NP) to $F_1$ generation on Tigriopus japonicus. The nauplius survival rate of $F_1$ from $F_0$ exposed to low 4NP concentration was significantly lower than other concentrations. Among the developmental process, copepodite first emergence day (CE) and adult male first emergence day (ME) on $F_1$ were accelerated relatively high concentration conditions. The sex ratio of $F_1$ was different between control group and treatment groups for 1, 10 and $30{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ 4NP. The fecundity of $F_1$ was not significantly affected (except, $0.1{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ 4NP). When 4NP concentrations were increased, first brooding day (FB) of F 1 was generally delayed. The length, width, and biomass of $F_1$ adult female were smaller than control group. In addition, the width and biomass of adult male were narrower or smaller than control group.

  • Altitudinal effects on the accumulation of O layer were examined for deciduous broad-leaved forests in the experimental forest of Kangwon National University. There found a marked increased towards the higher altitudes in the thickness of O layer. These trends could be observed conspicuously on the F2 and H layers. The relation between thickness (X, cm) and dry weight (Y, $kg/m^2$) of O layer was approximated by linear regression equations;Y($kg/m^2$ = aX(cm). The values of coefficient "a" for the F2, H and F2+H layers were 0.43, 0.61 and 0.53, respectively. Bulk densities of the accumulated organic matter estimated nearly to be $45g/dm^2$ in F2 layer, $60g/dm^2$ in H layer and $55g/dm^2$ in F2+H layer. The amount of O layer ranged from 13ton/ha for the forest at 280m in altitude to 41ton/ha for the upper forest at 710m in altitude. Among these total amount of the O layer, F1, F2 and H layer occupied to be 5~10ton/ha, 5~11ton/ha and 13~40ton/ha, respectively.

  • Genetic improvement of the cultivated soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr] may be possible through hybridization with its wild progenitor, G. soja Sieb. & Zucc. Interspecific cross between G. max (Hwangkeumkong) and G. soja (IT.182932) was made in the summer of 1997. In F$_2$ the percentage of plant height, nodes per plant, and pods per plant were high but gradually reduced from F$_2$ to F$_4$. In contrast pod length, seeds per pod, and 100-seeds weight were increased gradually through generations advanced. Wild variation as evident in F$_2$ in plant height, number of branches, pods per plant, and 100-seeds weight. Twenty six percent of the F$_2$, 44 % of the F$_3$ and 60% of the F$_4$ segregants showed more G. max traits. The combination of useful traits from both species is possible through interspecific hybridization. The characters that could be transferred from wild species to cultivated species are more pod number, better capacity, and resistance to disease and insects. The interspecific derivatives offer scope for selection for high grain yield. Therefore, introducing genes from G. soja to G. max could be contribute to greater genetic diversity of future cultivars. And semicultivated soybean had some desired characteristics including tolerance to adverse environments and multi-seed characters. It means the infusing of semicultivated germplasm to the cultivated soybean could increase number of seeds and pods per plant significantly, and consequently could enhance selecting potential on yield.

  • In this paper, we study the relation between two dynamical systems (V, f) and (V, g) with $f{\circ}g=g{\circ}f$. As an application, we show that an endomorphism (respectively a polynomial map with Zariski dense, of bounded Preper(f)) has only finitely many endomorphisms (respectively polynomial maps) of bounded degree which are commutable with f.

  • Let g : X ⟶ Y and f : Y ⟶ Z be two maps between real normed linear spaces. Then f is called generalized isometry or g-isometry if for each x, y ∈ X, ║f(g(x)) - f(g(y))║ = ║g(x) - g(y)║. In this paper, under special hypotheses, we prove that each generalized isometry is affine. Some examples of generalized isometry are given as well.

  • In this paper we introduce a new graph labeling called k-prime cordial labeling. Let G be a (p, q) graph and 2 ≤ p ≤ k. Let f : V (G) → {1, 2, . . . , k} be a map. For each edge uv, assign the label gcd (f(u), f(v)). f is called a k-prime cordial labeling of G if |vf (i) − vf (j)| ≤ 1, i, j ∈ {1, 2, . . . , k} and |ef (0) − ef (1)| ≤ 1 where vf (x) denotes the number of vertices labeled with x, ef (1) and ef (0) respectively denote the number of edges labeled with 1 and not labeled with 1. A graph with a k-prime cordial labeling is called a k-prime cordial graph. In this paper we investigate the k-prime cordial labeling behavior of a star and we have proved that every graph is a subgraph of a k-prime cordial graph. Also we investigate the 3-prime cordial labeling behavior of path, cycle, complete graph, wheel, comb and some more standard graphs.

  • Let G be a (p, q) graph. Let $f:V(G){\rightarrow}\{1,2,{\ldots},k\}$ be a map where $k{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$ and k > 1. For each edge uv, assign the label gcd(f(u), f(v)). f is called k-Total prime cordial labeling of G if ${\mid}t_f(i)-t_f(j){\mid}{\leq}1$, $i,j{\in}\{1,2,{\ldots},k\}$ where $t_f$(x) denotes the total number of vertices and the edges labelled with x. A graph with a k-total prime cordial labeling is called k-total prime cordial graph. In this paper we investigate the 4-total prime cordial labeling of some graphs.

  • We introduce a concept of fuzzy linearity: A function $F:L^0(X){\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ is fuzzy linear if $F[({\alpha}{\wedge}f){\vee}(b{\wedge}g)]=[a{\wedge}F(f)]{\vee}[b{\wedge}F(g)]$ for $f,g{\in}L^0(X)$ and a, b > 0. We show that a fuzzy integral is fuzzy linear if the measure is fuzzy c-additive.

  • For a given function f.mem.F and a set of functions J.subeq.F, the problem of isotonic optimization is to determine an element in the set nearest to f in some sense. Specifically, let X be a partially ordered finite set with a partial order << and, let F"=F(X) be the linear space of all bounded real valued functions on X. A function g.mem.F is said to be an isotonic function if g(x).leq.g(y) whenever x,y.mem.X and x << y.<< y.

  • To investigate sliding friction and wear behaviors of WC-Co/WC-Co pairs containing different WC grain sizes, the ball-on-disc test in air were carried out, where WC grain sizes a $0.5\;{\mu}m$ (F.G.) and $1.5\;{\mu}m$ (C.G.). The wear volume of F.G. pin for F.G. pin/C.G. disc is larger than that of F.G. pin for F.G. pin/F.G. disc due to higher friction coefficient, and the surfaces after wear test are richer in oxygen compared to those before test. Furthermore, the wear debris, which is composed of nona-scale grain, after the wear test are remarkably richer in oxygen than to those before test.
