산화그래핀(GO)의 플라스틱(PS) 표면 코팅방법에 대한 연구 (Investigation on the polystyrene surface coating method of graphene oxide)

  • In this study, we investigated various coating methods of graphene oxide on the surface of a petri dish made of polystyrene and analyzed the physical and chemical properties of the coated surface. For coating, spinning, spraying and pressing methods were attempted. The coated surface was characterized by SEM, Raman Spectroscopy, AFM, FT-IR, UV-Vis Spectroscopy and Contact Angle measurement. By spin coating and spray coating, well distributed graphene oxide in the form of multiple islands on the plastic surface with an average size of 5 to 20㎛ are observed by SEM, and high binding energy between graphene oxide and plastic surface is measured by AFM. In case of hand press coating, graphene oxide of 10㎛ or more was observed, and low surface energy was measured. By FT-IR and Raman Spectroscopy analysis, surface coating of graphene oxide was confirmed.

차폐 재료의 융합과 개질제 특성에 따른 의료방사선 차폐 시트 물리적 특성 고찰 (Physical Properties of Medical Radiation Shielding Sheet According to Shielding Materials Fusion and Resin Modifier Properties)

  • 의료방사선 방어를 위해 사용되는 차폐 시트의 제조과정에서 인장강도를 유지하면서 차폐 재료의 충전율을 높여 차폐 성능을 향상시키는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 개질제는 고분자 수지재료와의 융합에 있어서 분자량을 높여 재료의 친화성을 높이는 역할을 수행한다. 차폐시트의 산화텅스텐의 충전율과 인장강도, 차폐 성능 등을 평가하였다. 공정과정에서 개질제는 분자량과 밀도를 증가시켰고, 성형 과정에서 퍼짐 형상이 적용되었고, 성능 향상과 재료와의 친화성, 인장강도를 유지하기 위해 사용된 개질제 PMMA는 20%를 혼합할 경우 가장 우수한 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구에서 제시된 재료의 융합과 개질제를 통해 차폐시트의 대량생산이 가능하며, 향후 경량의 차폐복 제작에 기여할 것입니다.

유전함수를 이용한 ZnO 바리스터의 입계 특성 분석 (Analysis of Grain Boundary Phenomena in ZnO Varistor Using Dielectric Functions)

  • ZnO 바리스터는 인가되는 전압에 따라 저항이 변하는 전압 의존형 저항체이며 각종 전기 전자 정보통신용 제품에 정전기(ESD) 대책용 소자로 폭 넓게 사용되는 전자 세라믹스 부품이다. 특별히 Bi-based ZnO 바리스터는 다양한 상(phase)으로 구성되어 있으며 그 입계의 전기적 특성은 소량 첨가되는 dopant의 종류에 따라 다양하게 변하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 Bi-based ZnO 바리스터 (ZnO-$Bi_2O_3$, ZnO-$Bi_2O_3-Mn_3O_4$)에서 각종 유전함수$(Z^*,M^*,\varepsilon^*,Y^*,tan{\delta})$를 이용하여 입계의 주파수-온도에 대한 특성을 살펴 보았다. 일반적인 ZnO 바리스터 제조법으로 시편을 제작하여 78K~800K 온도 범위에서 각종 유전함수를 이용하여 복소 평면도(complex plane plot)와 주파수 응답도(frequency explicit plot)의 방법으로 defect level과 입계 특성(활성화 에너지, 정전용량, 저항, 입계 안정성 등)에 대하여 고찰하였다. ZnO-$Bi_2O_3$(ZB)계와 ZnO-$Bi_2O_3-Mn_3O_4$(ZBM)계 모두 상온 이하의 온도에서 $Zn_i$$V_o$의 결함이 나타났으며, 이들의 결함 준위는 각 유전함수에 따라 다소 차이가 났다. 입계 특성으로 ZB계는 이상구간(560~660K)을 전후로 1.15 eV $\rightarrow$ 1.49 eV의 활성화 에너지의 변화가 나타났지만, ZBM계는 이러한 현상이 나타나지 않았다. 또한 입계 전위 장벽의 온도 안정성에 대해서는 Cole-Cole model을 적용하여 분포 파라미터 (distribution parameter; $\alpha$)를 구하여 고찰하였다. ZB계의 입계 안정성은 온도에 따라 불안정해 졌지만, ZBM계는 안정하였다.

  • The importance of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) in the industry is increasing due to various loads, such as earthquakes and wind, having a significant impact on the performance of structures and equipment. Estimating responses is crucial for the effective health management of these assets. However, using numerous sensors in facilities and equipment for response estimation causes economic challenges. Additionally, it could require a response from locations where sensors cannot be attached. Digital twin technology has garnered significant attention in the industry to address these challenges. This paper constructs a digital twin system utilizing the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model to estimate responses in a pipe system under simultaneous seismic load and arbitrary loads. The performance of the data-driven digital twin system was verified through a comparative analysis of experimental data, demonstrating that the constructed digital twin system successfully estimated the responses.

  • In this paper, I tried to pursue health and social welfare together through medical convergence based on the main subject of a culture of convergence. Artists' drug accidents are never ending. Now Korea is also out of the drug cleansing country. it is impossible to get rid of them with the national public power. It is time for a treatment plan for these. They need a certain period of time and regular periods of rest and control over sports. Our humanities are researching to understand the changing human images of today. In parallel, medical convergence will also have to be transformed in various ways for human healing. Recently, we can see the case of healing with the combination of oriental medicine, natural healing and western medicine. Furthermore, the structure of medical convergence for the fight against disease can be analyzed as an example. South Korea is also preparing for various convergence programs focusing on natural sciences such as engineering, medical care, and the environment. In order to prevent drug addiction it is important to determine the department responsible for handling the problem of substance abuse. we need to improve the environment that they can be combined with Ondol therapy and natural healing therapies. Furthermore, I expect that fusion medicine will contribute to improving the quality of life of drug addicts and become a successful model to revitalize local economies in particular.

KOMPSAT-3 위성의 Time Offset 계산을 통한 항공기 속력 및 고도 추정 (Aircraft Velocity and Altitude Estimation through Time Offset Calculation of KOMPSAT-3 Satellite)

  • 본 연구에서는 KOMPSAT-3 위성에서 촬영된 항공기의 속력과 고도를 추정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 KOMPSAT-3 위성의 촬영 방식, 센서의 구조, 그리고 위성의 궤도에 따른 움직임으로 인해 생기는 시차 효과와 이로 인한 밴드 간 촬영 시차인 Time Offset을 계산하였으며, 이 과정에서 고속도로 위를 달리는 화물차를 이용하였다. 또한, 제안 기법에서는 영상 내 항공기 위치의 좌표를 이용해 항공기의 이동 방향, 시차 효과로 인한 이동 방향 등을 계산하였으며, 메타데이터로부터 KOMPSAT-3 위성의 자세 정보를 계산하여 항공기의 속력 및 고도를 추정하였다. 제안 기법을 통해 추정된 값을 automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B)에 기록된 항공기의 속력 및 고도 값과 오차율을 이용하여 비교한 결과, 대형 항공기(I1, I3, S2)에서의 오차율이 경비행기(I2, S2)의 오차율보다 낮아 제안 기법을 이용해 추정한 항공기의 속력과 고도 값이 대형 항공기에서 비교적 높은 정확도를 갖는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Pose Tracking of Moving Sensor using Monocular Camera and IMU Sensor

  • Pose estimation of the sensor is important issue in many applications such as robotics, navigation, tracking, and Augmented Reality. This paper proposes visual-inertial integration system appropriate for dynamically moving condition of the sensor. The orientation estimated from Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensor is used to calculate the essential matrix based on the intrinsic parameters of the camera. Using the epipolar geometry, the outliers of the feature point matching are eliminated in the image sequences. The pose of the sensor can be obtained from the feature point matching. The use of IMU sensor can help initially eliminate erroneous point matches in the image of dynamic scene. After the outliers are removed from the feature points, these selected feature points matching relations are used to calculate the precise fundamental matrix. Finally, with the feature point matching relation, the pose of the sensor is estimated. The proposed procedure was implemented and tested, comparing with the existing methods. Experimental results have shown the effectiveness of the technique proposed in this paper.

Improved Two-Phase Framework for Facial Emotion Recognition

  • Automatic emotion recognition based on facial cues, such as facial action units (AUs), has received huge attention in the last decade due to its wide variety of applications. Current computer-based automated two-phase facial emotion recognition procedures first detect AUs from input images and then infer target emotions from the detected AUs. However, more robust AU detection and AU-to-emotion mapping methods are required to deal with the error accumulation problem inherent in the multiphase scheme. Motivated by our key observation that a single AU detector does not perform equally well for all AUs, we propose a novel two-phase facial emotion recognition framework, where the presence of AUs is detected by group decisions of multiple AU detectors and a target emotion is inferred from the combined AU detection decisions. Our emotion recognition framework consists of three major components - multiple AU detection, AU detection fusion, and AU-to-emotion mapping. The experimental results on two real-world face databases demonstrate an improved performance over the previous two-phase method using a single AU detector in terms of both AU detection accuracy and correct emotion recognition rate.

모바일과 의료서비스 간의 새로운 융합 가능성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Possible New Fusion between Mobile and Healthcare Service)

  • As many applications are possible now in mobile environment with the trend of mobile convergence, diverse applications in healthcare industry are also possible in mobile devices. Though lots of researches on mobile and health services are introduced, they are limited to specific area or techniques. This study shows possible directions of fusion between mobile technologies and health services in the future using a data mining technique called association rule analysis. The data used in this study is collected from web pages containing key words related to mobile technologies and health services. The analysis shows that current cases of fusion between monitoring based telemedicine and patients. It also shows another case of fusion between mobile hospital and medical screen charts. These show that fusion between mobile technologies and health services already began in industry. Association rules are found between well-being, city, diet, and sleep. The association rules containing security and privacy, though their associations are not so strong, also show that security and privacy of patient information should be protected in the future. The results show that the fusion of mobile technologies and health services is expected to provide health services to more users and larger areas. It is also expected to create new diverse business models in the future.

  • Biometric techniques for authentication using body parts such as a fingerprint, face, iris, voice, finger-vein and also photoplethysmography have become increasingly important in the personal security field, including door access control, finance security, electronic passport, and mobile device. Finger-vein images are now used to human identification, however, difficulties in recognizing finger-vein images are caused by capturing under various conditions, such as different temperatures and illumination, and noise in the acquisition camera. The human photoplethysmography is also important signal for human identification. In this paper To increase the recognition rate, we develop camera based identification method by combining finger vein image and photoplethysmography signal. We use a compact CMOS camera with a penetrating infrared LED light source to acquire images of finger vein and photoplethysmography signal. In addition, we suggest a simple pattern matching method to reduce the calculation time for embedded environments. The experimental results show that our simple system has good results in terms of speed and accuracy for personal identification compared to the result of only finger vein images.
