진동지속시간을 고려한 고속철도교량의 진동 사용성 처짐 한계 (Deflection Limit on Vibration Serviceability of High-speed Railway Bridges Considering the Exposed Time Duration)

  • This paper aims for proposed the deflection limit on vibration serviceability of high-speed railway bridges considering the exposed time duration when a train passes a railway bridge. For this purpose, bridge-train transfer function was derived and bridge-train interaction analysis was performed by using the derived function. The vertical acceleration signals of passenger cars obtained from bridge-train interaction analysis were compared with them from the bridge-train transfer function by moving constant force analysis. Therefore it was estimated possible to induce the comfort deflection limit of railway bridge by using bridge-train transfer function. The deflections by moving force of single span bridge and continuous bridge were assumed as sine and haversine wave. The deflection limit on vibration serviceability of high-speed railway bridges considering the exposed time duration can be expanded using bridge-train transfer function and bridge comfort limit considering serviceability due to bridge vibration. And it was compared to other allowable deflection limits of railway bridge design specifications.

  • This paper aims for analyzing the vibration serviceability of train by simply expressing its vertical vibration when it passes a railway bridge. For this purpose, bridge-train transfer function was derived and bridge-train interaction analysis was performed by using the derived function. The bridge-train transfer function was developed with the assumption that train is a single mass-spring system, and bridge-train interaction analysis was performed on simple beams of KTX passenger car. The vertical acceleration signals of passenger cars obtained from bridge-train interaction analysis were compared with them of cars obtained from the bridge-train transfer function. As a result, it could be estimated to express the vertical vibration inside the passenger car required for vibration serviceability evaluation by using the vertical vibration of bridges obtained from moving load analysis. Therefore, it may be possible to evaluate the vibration serviceability of railway bridges considering bridge-train interaction effect.

현장 풍속 특성을 반영한 콘크리트 사장교의 버페팅 응답 (Buffeting Responses of Concrete Cable-stayed Bridge Considering Turbulent Characteristics of Bridge Site)

  • 본 연구에서는 교량 현장에서 계측한 풍속 스펙트럼을 풍동에서 구현하고, 콘크리트 사장교를 대상으로 공력 어드미턴스함수를 측정하였다. 그리고 현장 측정한 난류 특성을 바탕으로 콘크리트 사장교의 3차원 버페팅 해석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 보면 적절히 공력 어드미턴스함수를 고려할 경우에 고려하지 않은 경우보다 버페팅 응답이 절반 가까이 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 격자난류를 사용할 경우에 저주파 영역에서 공력 어드미턴스 함수가 낮아서 풍하중을 과소평가할 가능성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 공력 어드미턴스 함수가 버페팅 응답에 미치는 영향이 상당하므로 향후 교량의 버페팅 해석시 플러터계수나 능동난류로부터 추출한 공력 어드미턴스 함수를 사용할 것을 추천한다.

추계론적 이론을 이용한 교량내진거동분석 (Seismic Behaviors of a Bridge System in the Stochastic Perspectives)

  • 본 연구에서는 지진하중을 받는 교량의 거동을 확률밀도함수를 통하여 분석할 수 있는 기법을 개발하였다. 확률밀도함수의 전개는 추계론적 이론을 이용한 반해석적 방법을 통하여 구하였으며, 반해석적 방법은 교량운동방정식으로부터 상응하는 Fokker-Planck equation을 구한 후, path-integral solution을 유도하여 이를 수치적으로 해석함으로써 구할 수 있다. 교량거동의 확률밀도 함수전개로부터 교량거동의 확률적 특성을 파악하고 확률밀도함수의 범위로부터 교량응답거동의 포락선을 얻을 수 있으며 이를 이용하여 최대응답의 범위를 결정할 수 있다는 것을 밝혔다.

A new method to identify bridge bearing damage based on Radial Basis Function Neural Network

  • Bridge bearings are important connection elements between bridge superstructures and substructures, whose health states directly affect the performance of the bridges. This paper systematacially presents a new method to identify the bridge bearing damage based on the neural network theory. Firstly, based on the analysis of different damage types, a description of the bearing damage is introduced, and a uniform description for all the damage types is given. Then, the feasibility and sensitivity of identifying the bearing damage with bridge vibration modes are investigated. After that, a Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) is built, whose input and output are the beam modal information and the damage information, respectively. Finally, trained by plenty of data samples formed by the numerical method, the network is employed to identify the bearing damage. Results show that the bridge bearing damage can be clearly reflected by the modal information of the bridge beam, which validates the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The vertical acceleration signals of passenger cars obtained from test were compared with them from the bridge-train transfer function by riding KTX. The deflections by KTX of seven high speed railway bridges were assumed as sine and haversine wave. The deflection limit on vibration serviceability of high-speed railway bridges considering passenger's comfort when a train passes a railway bridge duration can be expanded using bridge-train transfer function and bridge comfort limit considering serviceability due to bridge vibration. And it was compared to other allowable deflection limits of railway bridge design specifications.

Hazus-MH 방법을 이용한 대구시 교량의 시나리오 지진에 의한 피해 예측 (Scenario-Based Earthquake Damage Estimation of Bridge Structures in Daegu City Using Hazus-MH Methodology)

  • The paper presents the damage estimation of bridge structures in Daegu city based on the scenario-based earthquakes. Since the fragility curves for domestic bridge strucures are limited, the Hazus methodology is employed to derive the fragility curves and estimate the damage. A total of four earthuquake scenarios near Daegu city are assumed and structure damage is investigated for 81 bridge structures. The seismic fragility function and damage level of each bridge had adopted from the analytical method in HAZUS and then, the damage probability using seismic fragility function for each bridge was evaluated. It was concluded that the seismic damage to bridges was higher when the magnitude of the earthquake was large or nearer to the epicenter.

  • 몬테칼로법은 복잡한 특히 비선형문제를 푸는데 강력한 공학도구중의 하나이다. 이 방법은 컴퓨터에서의 통계적인 표본추출방법을 이용하여 각종 공학적인 문제에 근사적인 해를 준다. 교량 하나의 요소나 전체교량의 시간 의존적 파괴확률을 예측하는 방법중의 하나로 생애함수가 있다. 이 논문에서는 교량의 요소나 전체 교량의 파괴확률을 예측하기 위하여, 시스템 신뢰성과 생애함수를 이용하여 포트란 프로그램을 개발하였다. 몬테칼로법은 생애함수의 매개변수를 생성하는데 이용되었다. 적용례로서, 개발된 프로그램은 콘크리트-강 합성 교량에 적용되어, 파괴확률을 예측하는데 이용되었다.

  • 본 논문은 변형률 계측데이터를 사용하는 신뢰성 및 정확성을 증진된 BWIM(Bridge Weigh-In-Motion) 알고리즘을 개발하고, 이를 교량에 대한 다양한 실험을 통해 검증하고자 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 밀도추정함수와 평균보정계수를 이용한 BWIM 알고리즘을 제시한다. 밀도추정함수는 다축하중을 추정할 때 신뢰할 수 있게 적용할 수 있음을 입증하였으며, 평균보정계수는 이론 계산된 모멘트와 계측된 변형률에서 계산한 모멘트 사이의 전반적인 오차를 최소화하기 위해 적용된다. 개발된 알고리즘은 수치예제, 실내모형실험 그리고 다주형 합성교량에 대한 현장실험을 통해 성공적으로 검증하였다.

A study of wind effect on damping and frequency of a long span cable-stayed bridge from rational function approximation of self-excited forces

  • This paper presents an aeroelastic analysis procedure to highlight the influence of wind velocity on the structural damping and frequency of a long span cable-stayed bridge. Frequency dependent self-excited forces in terms of flutter derivatives are expressed as continuous functions using rational function approximation technique. The aeroelastically modified structural equation of motion is expressed in terms of frequency independent modal state-space parameters. The modal logarithmic dampings and frequencies corresponding to a particular wind speed are then determined from the eigen solution of the state matrix.
