This study estimates how soil loss in a basin has been occurred according to the change of land cover, and analyzes which type of land cover has the largest soil loss by classifying the land-cover type into each area and a whole basin. Musimcheon, the second branch stream of GeumGang, is chosen as a research area. The result of analysis shows that the average soil loss occurs most largely in a crop land and a paddy field. The yearly soil loss of watershed estimates approximately 14,000 ton/yr in case of using 100-year-frequency rainfall data. A forest area, which takes the largest area in watershed, shows the soil loss occurs approximately 1,000ton/yr. A crop field shows that soil loss increased most largely 4,900 ton/yr (34.6%) in 1985 to 8,100 ton/yr (56.1%) in 2000. The change of land cover in a crop land increased 8% to 14%, and this change influences on the increase of soil loss. As a result of analyzing the area over $200ton/km^2/yr$, the soil loss in a crop field accounts for 74% to 96%.

So far ubiquitous service (u-service) priority has seldom been empirically examined based on the customer's view. It is usual to prioritize the relative importance of u-service variables by the supplier's intuition and a few specialist's experienced knowledge. Such approaches have the disadvantage that they provide only limited empirical information on the field practices in relation to u-service since customer demand of u-service is poorly defined despite abundant interest in this problem. Therefore, the aim of this research was to develop u-service priority model in the context of multi-criteria framework integrating customer and supplier's view, using high technology acceptance theory as major controlling factors. An important question was how to measure or represent criteria that is important to u-service and should be included in a priority model. The selection criteria for the model variables were derived from high technology acceptance theory and AHP approach through the analysis of frequency count, elimination of overlapping factors and brainstorming with specialists. Daegu showed top-rankings in transportation-aid service, guidance service for the eyesight disabled and u-telematics service. In contrast, disaster prevention service and industrial specialized town service ranked highly in the typical supplier's approach were not a dominant determining factor in the u-service priority. The model identified the fact that typical high priority service in terms of supplier's view did not necessarily accompany the important predictor for the u-service priority.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between emotional labor and occupational stress of the dental hygienists, and the effects of emotional labor on their occupational stress and health problems including depression, anxiety and sleep. Methods: The survey was conducted using the questionnaires about dental hygienists' working in medical institutions in Busan, Gyeongsangnam-do from August 19th and October 7th, 2016. Total of 225 participants were selected for data analyses. Frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using SPSS Windows ver. 21.0 program(SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL. USA). Results: The analysis of the factors affecting emotional labor, occupational stress, anxiety, and sleep by participants' characteristics showed that those with higher education level, work position and annual salary had higher emotional labor. In addition, participants who worked 5 days every other week and were responsible for patient consultation had higher emotional labor. The analysis of correlations among emotional labor occupational stress, anxiety, and sleep showed positive correlations between emotional experience and emotional expression, occupational stress and emotional expression, and anxiety and emotional expression. On the other hand, negative correlation was found between anxiety and emotional experience. Regression analysis was conducted to examine the effect of emotional labor on job stress. Emotional labor was a factor affecting job stress and anxiety. Conclusions: In order to improve emotional control and vulnerability to stress among dental hygienists, intra-organizational training opportunities and mental health care strategies are needed. Additional broad-based studies are required to identify the factors affecting the occupational stress and emotional labor and to develop relevant intervention measures.
The KOMPSAT-3A is a high-resolution optical satellite launched in 2015 by Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). KOMPSAT-3A provides Panchromatic (PAN-0.55 m), Multispectral (MS-2.2 m), and Mid-wavelength infrared (MIROR-5.5 m) image. However, due to security or military problems, MIROR image with 5.5m spatial resolution are provided down sampled at 33 m spatial resolution (MIRrd). In this study, we propose spatial sharpening method to improve the spatial resolution of MIRrd image (33 m) using virtual High Frequency (HF) image and optimal fusion factor. Using MS image and MIRrd image, we generated virtual high resolution (5.5 m) MIRORfus image and then compared them to actual high-resolution MIROR image. The test results show that the proposed method merges the spatial resolution of MS image and the spectral information of MIRrd image efficiently.
Since the establishment of Security Business Act in 1976, the Korean private security industry has rapidly grown in the qualitative and quantitative aspects. In the circumstance, various roles of private security guards have been demanded. A private security guard as the first contactor of the users of multi-use facilities should first find an accident field situation and make a response when an accident occurs, and should give first aid as most as possible until emergency medical workers arrive. However, there is a lack of first-aid education for the private security guards who are responsible for the safety of facility users. Therefore, the purpose of this study is first to find how many times private security guards have job and first-aid education, and analyze how the education count influences their first-aid ability; secondly to analyze how private security guards' satisfaction with first-aid education influences their first-aid ability. To achieve the purpose, this researcher conducted a questionnaire survey on first-aid ability of the private security guards working in the metropolitan areas. For data analysis, Stata se/ 14.0ver was applied. For the analysis on validity and reliability, exploratory factor analysis was conducted and a Cronbach's a value was drawn. To find the actual conditions of first-aid education, frequency analysis, inter-group difference analysis, and multi-regression analysis were conducted. According to the data analysis, there were not enough times of job education and first-aid education for private security guards, and their satisfaction with first-aid education and first-aid ability were difference depending on the job and first-aid education counts. Also, their satisfaction with first-aid education partially influenced their first-aid ability.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between psychological capital on job attitudes. For this purpose, the private security guards who were working at private security companies in Gyeonggi province from September to October, 2016 were selected as the population and the convenience sampling method was used for 310 persons. A total of 295 copies of the questionnaire were used for the final analysis, except for 15 questions that were answered in appropriately or were partially missing. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation modeling using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results are as follows. First, the positive psychological capital of the private security guard has a positive(+) effect on job satisfaction. Second, the positive psychological capital of the private security guard has a positive(+) effect on job commitment. Third, job satisfaction of the private security guards has a positive(+) effect on job commitment. Fourth, job satisfaction is partly mediated in the relationship between positive psychological capital and job commitment. In summary, the positive psychological capital of the private security guard is an important variable that positively affects job satisfaction and job commitment, and the higher the job satisfaction of the private security guard, the higher the commitment to the job.
As the role and the importance of private security are emphasized in an independent way, as well as in a supportive way for police affairs, this study aims to figure out factors affecting job satisfaction of private security guards by investigating their job satisfaction. This study also suggests some solutions for improvement of their job satisfaction, such as enhancing task motivation and professionalism of private security guards. For the research were used SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 24 programs. Frequency analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and Crosstabulation analysis were performed as analytic methods. As a result of the study, the most fundamental factor in the job satisfaction of the private security guards was 'social recognition'. Social recognition forms when private security guards are trusted as professionals and the value of a job is enhanced. The policy recommendations to improve the job satisfaction of private security guards can be explained as follows. First, a government certification system should be established in an attempt to recruit professional private security guards. Second, in order to improve the work ability of private security guards, it is necessary to designate a special educational institution for a private security guards and provide systematic education. Third, the wage of private security guards should be readjusted to a realistic level. Fourth, it is necessary to secure substantial effect on the permission and the supervision of private security business. Finally, the business area based on public interest should be expanded.

Work-related low back pain is one of the major factors that cause the loss of working power especially in actively working age, therefore controlling the work-related low back pain is one of the major issues in the field of industrial safety and health. This study was performed for detecting the risk factors and proposing the efficient control program of the work-related low back pain. The subjects were male workers employed at the manufacturing industry in Pusan with longer than 6 months' working duration. The data was collected by self-reported questionnaire and interview from May 1 to October 31,1992. The contents of questionnaire were as follows:. the experience of low back pain within the recent one month, general characteristics(age, marital status, education level, religion, regular exercise), physical characteristics(height, weight), employment status(working duration, daily working hours, rest during work, satis(action fur the job), type of work and working environments(posture, forward bending, lifting and movement, satisfaction for table and chair). The result was analyzed for 608 entire respondents by case-control comparative method. The number of cases was 152 with a history of work-related low back pain, so the relative frequency of self-reported work-related low back pain was 25.0%, and the number of controls was 344 without any history of low back pain. As a result, two characteristics of the employment status(working duration, satisfaction fur the job) and all characteristics of type of work and working environments showed a statistical significance between the case and control groups(p<0.01). The Oddb ratios of these variables for Work-related low back pain were calculated. They were 7.88 for the satisfaction fur chair, 7.86 for lifting and movement,3.31 for satisfaction for table, and 2.22 fur bending forward(p<0.01). And for the multivariate logistic regression analysis confirmed that unsatisfaction for table was independent risk factor for Work-related low back pain. In summary, though this study was based upon the self-reported questionnaire and the subjective complaints, the satisfaction for chair, lifting and movement, satisfaction for table, and bending forward concerned with the type of work and working environments were considered as the main factors causing the work-related low back pain, and the work-related low back pain may be preventable by the ergonomic control of these factors.

This study was carried out to evaluate the relations among workers' general characteristics, work-related behaviors and health related behaviors in a steel industry with 1,134 workers in Pohang. The results were as follows; 1. The mean age of workers was 50 years old and working duration was 15 years and over. Most of them were married(94.5%) and had studied beyond high school (53.0%). They performed three shift work and most of them(63.0%) had experienced industial accidents. The frequency of noise and dust exposure was defined by a minimum of 6 hours per day, and workers complained about noise exposure(62.9%) and dust(55.6%). There were current smokers(67.7%), current drinkers(74.3%) and current exercising workers(32.3%) in the industry. The number of cigarette consumption in current drinkers was significantly high $(13.6{\pm}8.4\;pieces/day)$ and the alcohol consumption in current smokers was significantly high$(104.5{\pm}113.5\;g/wk)$. And the number of cigarette consumption of exercisers was significantly low and the alcohol consumption of exercisers was higher than non-exercisers. 3. The ratio of current smokers on frequent noise in exposed workers versus non-exposed workers was not significantly high but the current drinkers in frequent noise and dust exposed workers was significantly higher than non-exposed. 4. The normal levels of SGOT workers in non-smokers were significantly higher than in current smokers, and the normal levels of LFT (SGOT, SGPT, $\gamma-GTP$ workers in nondrinkers were significantly high. The normal levels of SBP and DBP workers in current smokers were not significantly high but were significantly high in non-drinkers. 5. The ratio of current smokers in voters unsatisfied with their job and working condition was higher than non-smokers, but the ratio of current drinkers in workers satisfied with their job and working condition were higher. 6. The significant factors for SGOT and $\gamma-GTP$ were age, the drinking amount and BMI. But the only significant factor for r-GTP was BMI. The significant factors for DBP were age, the alcohol consumption and BMI. And the significant factors for SBP were age, BMI.
Though myocardial perfusion was usually expected to improve after coronary artery bypass graft(CABG) surgery, some myocardial segments were aggravated after operation, as we compared perfusion changes on postoperative SPECT with preoperative ones. In this study, we evaluated perfusion changes after operation in rest and stress myocardial SPECT in 44 patients (M:F=25:19, age 57.1 $year{\pm}8.2$) who had CABG before and 3 months after operation. We tried to find out possible causes for perfusion aggravation with multivariate logistic regression analysis regarding whether bypass graft was artery or vein and which coronary artery territory was operated. Among 616 myocardial segments which were operated, 89(14.4%) aggravated after operation. In the univariate analysis, myocardial segments in the left circumflex arteries(LCx) aggravated more often(p<0.01) than others and segments having operative angioplasty did less often(p<0.01). Multivariate logistic regression revealed that LCx was risk factor for perfusion aggravation [odds ratio=2.54 (95% confidence interval : 1.53-4.22, p<0.01)]. However, this was not the case when we analysed in terms of arterial territories. Among 106 coronary arterial territories which were operated, 27(25.5%) aggravated. The territories having aggravated had similar characteristics regarding whether they received arterial or venous grafts, angioplasty and whether the operated territories were left anterior descending, right coronary or left circumflex arteries. In conclusion, myocardial segments in the left circumflex artery tended to aggravate more often after bypass surgery than the others. In short-term comparison of perfusion after surgery, we could not find any tendency that arterial or venous graft was associated with more frequency of the aggravation of perfusion after operation.
