정사각형 밀폐공간내에서 수평격판에 의한 자연대류의 진동현상 (Oscillatory Motion of Natural Convection in a Square Enclosure with a Horizontal Partition)

  • An oscillatory motion of natural convection in a two-dimensional square enclosure fitted with a horizontal partition is investigated numerically. The enclosure was composed of the lower hot and the upper cold horizontal walls and the adiabatic vertical walls, and a partition was positioned perpendicularly at the mid-height of one vertical insulated wall. The governing equations are solved by using the finite element method with Galerkin method. The computations were carried out with the variations of the partition length and Rayleigh number based on the temperature difference between two horizontal walls and the enclosure height with water(Pr=4.95). As the results, an oscillatory motion of natural convection has perfectly shown the periodicity with the decrease of Rayleigh number, and the stability was reduced to a chaotic state with the increase of Rayleigh number. The period of oscillation gets shorten with the decrease of the partition length and the increase of Rayleigh number. The frequency of oscillation obtained by the variations of stream function is more similar to the experimental results than that of the average Nusselt number. The stability of oscillation grows worse with the increase of Rayleigh number. The transition Rayleigh number for the chaos is gradually decreased with the increase of the partition length.

선박 격벽의 저주파수 대역 차음성능 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Sound Transmission Loss of Ship's Bulkhead at Low Frequency Range)

  • The noise sources in ship and offshore structure have an influence on adjacent receiving area through a partition between noise sources and receiving area. The partition in ship is usually made of stiffened plate. Sound transmission loss (STL) of the partition at high frequency could be improved by additional installation of insulation or wall panel. At low frequency, however, it is very difficult and needs an increase of plate thickness which causes a considerable weight increase of ship. In this paper, we have investigated the effect of the bulkhead boundary condition. From measurement result, we found that the bulkhead boundary condition can affect a lot in STL, especially at low frequency range. Finally, we get the 5dB increase in STL through the modification of boundary condition.

  • OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) 기반 셀룰러 시스템에서 셀 간 간섭은 셀 가장자리에 위치한 단말의 수신 성능을 악화시킴으로써 전체 시스템의 성능을 감소시킨다. 따라서 셀 간 간섭을 제거하는 것은 셀룰러 시스템의 성능 향상에 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 이를 위해 4세대 통신망에는 부분 주파수 재사용(FFR : Fractional Frequency Reuse)이 도입되었다. FFR은 간섭 제어 기술 중의 하나로써, 하나의 셀을 내부 셀과 외부 셀로 분할하고 내부 셀의 경우 전체 시스템 대역폭을, 외부 셀의 경우 섹터에 따라 서로 다른 주파수 파티션을 할당한다. 이렇게 함으로써 외부 셀에 속한 단말은 인접한 셀로부터의 간섭을 무시할 수 있게 되고 이에 따라 셀 가장자리에 위치한 단말의 수신 성능이 대폭 개선된다. 하지만 FFR은 대역폭 측면에서 치명적인 부작용을 가진다. 외부 셀의 각 섹터에 서로 다른 주파수 파티션을 할당하기 위해서 하나의 섹터에는 전체 시스템 대역폭의 1/3만을 할당할 수 있게 된다. 이렇게 감소한 대역폭은 시스템 전송률을 직접적으로 감소시킨다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 분할대역을 일정 비율만큼 중첩해서 사용하는 새로운 FFR 방법을 제안하고 실제 셀룰러 시스템에 적합한 중첩 비율을 제시한다.

단순 확장 관 내부 파티션이 음향 투과손실에 미치는 영향해석 (Influence of Internal Partition of Simple Extension Chamber on the Acoustic Transmission Loss)

  • To identify characterization of a simple extension chamber that have the two internal partition, produce the curve to estimate the transmission loss without the computer analysis. For helpful for internal optimum design, identify the characteristic of internal partition on transmission loss. Made estimated transmission loss curve by function of relationship of internal partition and transmission. Check the similarity of predicted transmission loss and analysis transmission loss. Usage of the predicted transmission loss made by relationship of internal partition and transmission loss is good information to place the internal partition so as to maximize the transmission loss on target frequency at optimal design on muffler.

  • A electromagnetic waves are used for sensing in insulation diagnosis at electric machine or equipment. When it a method, waves are transformed into the FFT(Fast Fourier Transform); a kind of the process for data transformation. In a general way, a scientist use frequncy band 30[㎒]~l[㎓] to applied field. If we are measured high frequency band, we will need to a high capacity hardware. Also a antenna has a fault on atmospheric phenomena, outside environment and the like. In this paper We proposed new method for detecting electric equipment faulty state using only electric voltage which is generally measured in the electric and electronic field. It is called the Partition-FFT The analytic method is this first divide measured voltage waves into equal parts, second each deal with give effect to the FFT, finally each results deal with a graphic method and gather graphic. We are compare Partition-FFT with discharge form by tracking tester. As the result it demonstrated that the Partition-FFT is applicable.

내부 파티션을 갖는 단순확장관의 소음저감 및 배압특성의 전산해석 (Numerical Analysis of Noise Reduction and Back-pressure for a Simple Expansion Chamber with a Partition)

  • Mufflers have been widely used in the exhaust system to reduce the noise. However, installing muffler may deteriorate the efficiency due to the increase of back pressure. Mufflers usually consist of partition plates and perforated holes in a expansion chamber. In this paper, the influences of the location of the partition and hole on the acoustic TL and back pressure were examined. The acoustic TL was predicted using virtual lab commercial software, while the back pressure were predicted using CFX commercial software. The results were used to set up a database for finding their trends. The optimal muffler model in user-interested frequency range could be selected by analyzing this database.

  • 본 연구에서는 Fig.1에 나타낸 정 등의 모델을 사용하여 공간내의 자연대류 유동을 수치적으로 해석하고 실험결과와 비교하여 수평격판에 의해서 발생하는 진동유 동의 특성을 규명하고자 한다. 본 수치해석에서는 물(Pr=4.95)을 내부유체로 하여 Rayleigh수, 공간의 폭에 대한 격판길이(L/W)및 격판의 열전도율의 변화가 자연대류 진동유동에 미치는 영향을 밝히고, 밀폐공간의 경사에 의해 진동유동이 사라지는 각 도, 즉 천이 경사각도를 찾아 내고자 한다. 이러한 유동특성을 파악하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 지배방정식을 Galerkin method를 사용한 2차원 유한요소법(FEM)으로 수치 해석하였다.

다공관 소음기의 투과손실에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Transmission Loss of Perforated Tube Mufflers)

  • This paper is the experimental study to estimate the influence of various design parameters on the performance of mufflers with perforated tubes and through-flow partitions. Muffler types considered in the present work include through-flow chamber, through-flow chamber with partition, and cross-flow chamber. The influences of the design parameters on the performance of the mufflers can be outlined as follows. In the case of the through-f]ow type mufflers, increasing the tube thickness and the hole diameter of the perforated tubes does not change the maximum value of the transmission loss but decrease the cutoff frequency. In the case of the through-flow with partitions type mufflers, it is shown that combining a fe w short chambers and long chambers can modify the frequency locations of the resonance frequencies to optimize the performance of the mufflers. For the case of the cross-flow type mufflers, it is shown that the transmission loss of the mufflers is mainly affected by the lower porosity when the porosities are different in both sides of the plug. Overall, it is shown that performance of the through-flow type with partition type mufflers is excellent in the lower frequency region, where the cross-flow type mufflers have better performance in the higher frequency region.

Determination of Regulator Parameters and Transient Analysis of Modified Self-commutating CSI-fed IM Drive

  • In this paper, an attempt has been made to design the current and speed proportional and integral (PI) regulators of self-commutating current source inverter-fed induction motor drive having capacitors at the machine end and to investigate the transient performance of the same for step changes in reference speed. The mathematical model of the complete drive system is developed in closed loop, and the characteristic equations of the systems are derived using perturbation about steady-state operating point in order to develop the characteristic equations. The D-partition technique is used for finding the stable region in the parametric plane. Frequency scanning technique is used to confirm the stability region. Final selection of the regulator parameters is done by comparing the transient response of the current and speed loops for step variations in reference. The performance of the drive is observed analytically through MATLAB simulation.

동축-원추-방사형 선로변환에 의한 마이크로파 전력분할/합성기의 광대역 설계 (Design of a Broadband Microwave Power Divider/Combiner using Coaxial-Conical-Radial Transmission Line Conversion)

  • A coaxial-conical-radial transmission line conversion circuits have been investigated to realize a low loss high performance microwave power divider/combiner. In order to optimize the characteristics of the device, the power divider/combiner was designed separately with two parts-the inner part and the outer part. Utilizing the rectangular approximation of the outer part, we can design the low loss device which is not affected by the partition number N of the outer part. The small return loss which is lower than 20dB was obtained on the frequency range of 5.15GHz(7.45~12.60GHz). A conical connector was employed for smooth connection between the central coaxial line and the outer radial line. Making use of the $47^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$ 2-stage conical connector, the return loss lower than 30dB was obtained on the operating frequency range of 5GHz. The total return loss of the designed divider/combiner was lower than 20dB on the frequency range of 5GHz for the partition number N=11, N=12 and N=16.
