A Study on Consumer Cognition about Criteria for Classifying Fashion Brands (패션 브랜드 분류 기준에 관한 소비자 인식 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out criteria for classifying fashion brand from consumer point of view in order to develop strategy of fashion brands and to manage brand effectively and systematically, and to suggest theoretical frame for application of these criteria. Survey was used as a research method. Subject were 422 age of 20-30 women living in and near Seoul. Questionnaires was developed to based on 37 classification criteria, and SPSS package program were used to analyze data. The results of this study were as follows: First, factor analysis considering 37 classification criteria identified 8 factors as classification criteria. They were the level of brand form, the level of product concept, the level of management item, the level of brand sales ability, the level of customer management, the level of brand advertizing and awareness, the level of brand value, the level of product lead ability. Second, the most important factor was the level of customer management, but comparatively factor of the level of brand sales ability the level of brand value was less important. Third, consumer cognized difference of criteria for classifying fashion brands. And the level of product lead ability was the most important factor in women's wear category and the level of brand form was in general casual wear category.

  • The ability to linearize a nonlinear system by feedback and coordinate change reduces to finding an integrating factor for a one-form which is determined from the system dynamics. Utilizing Taylor series expansion of this one-form, we characterize approximate linearizabilitu. A constructive method is derived for approximate linearization up to order 2.

  • Based on author's practice of instructing Chinese gifted students to join the Chinese Mathematics Olympic (CMO), the paper adopted test analysis model of the Scholastic Aptitude Test of Mathematics (SAT-M), tested mathematics ability of 212 mathematical gifted students to join the CMO, applied correlation analysis and factor analysis and proposed the mathematics ability structure in Chinese gifted students including comprehensive operation ability, logic thinking ability, abstract generalization ability, spatial imagination ability, memory ability, transfer ability and intuition thinking ability. And it analyzed the expression form of these abilities respectively and gave some suggestion on mathematics teaching about gifted Chinese students.

The Use of Rasch Model in Developing a Short Form Based on Self-Reported Activity Measure for Low Back Pain

  • For maintaining adequate psychometric properties when reducing the number of items from an instrument, item level psychometrics is crucial. Strategies such as low item correlation or factor loadings, using classical test theory, have traditionally been advocated. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of a new short form assessing the impact of low back pain on physical activity. Rasch measurement model has been applied to the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health Activity Measure (ICF-AM). One hundred and one individuals with low back pain aged 19-89 years (mean age: $48.1{\pm}17.3$) who live in the community were participated in the study. Twenty-seven items of lifting/carrying construct of the ICF-AM were analyzed. Ten items were selected from the construct to create a short form. Item elimination criteria include: 1) high or low mean square (out of the range: .6-1.4 for the fit statistics), 2) similar item calibrations to adjacent items, 3) person separation value, and item-person map for potential gap in person ability continuum. All 10 items of the short form fit to the Rasch model except one item (i.e., carrying toddler on back). Despite its high infit and outfit statistics (1.90/2.17), the item had to be reinstated due to potential gaps at the upper extreme of person ability level. The short form had a slightly better spread of person ability continuum compared to the entire set of item. The created short form separated individuals with low back pain into nearly 4 groups, while the entire set of items separated the individuals into 6 groups. The findings prompted multidimensional models for better explanation of the lifting/carrying domain. The item level psychometrics based on the Rasch model can be useful in developing short forms with rationally retained items.

  • In this paper, we designed the extended ATA(AT Attachment interface with extension) interface that combines with goods price and ability and intellectual behavior of SCSI, for make progress the ability and structure of ordinary interface for connect with device of using PC. ATA is establish a standard of IDE(Intelligent Drive Electronics) public in small form factor. SCSI bus is device behaving intellectual and have stable hardware structure, calssified instructions structure. But it is device that difficult to buy, because of price of more than two times. The other side, ATA device is worse than SCSI bus in part of ability, but it came to SCSI in part of speed after improve and it's price is less expensive. another improvement of ATA is a standard of ARAP(AT Attachment Packet Interface) and use method of packet transmission and behaves as if SCSI use a method. Finally, improvement of ATAPI behave from interface of only HDD to ability of ordinary interface. This paper propose the structure of extended interface that satisfied the price and ability.

Construct Validity of Korean Translated Gifted Rating Scale (한국어판 Gifted Rating Scale의 구인타당도)

  • This study examined the construct validity of a Korean translated version of the Gifted Rating Scales-School Form (GRS-S). Data were collected from five elementary schools in a metropolitan area and a midsize town in South Korea. Confirmatory factor analysis results indicated that the original factor structure (6-factor solution) fit the data collected from the teachers. However, the 6-factor solution did not fit the data collected from the parents. Thus, exploratory factor analysis was conducted for the parent data. The results showed that seven factors were extracted, and the factors explained 71.96% of the total variance. Unlike the original factor structure, some items of the academic ability scale were grouped with intellectual ability scale, and a creativity scale item and another academic ability scale item were an independent factor. The study outcomes provide preliminary support for a translated version of the GRS-S with elementary students in Korea. More detailed interpretations and implications of the results are discussed in the study.

Here by, all the problems out hotels have faced are that our hotels should look for a new human resources. The control of human resources in hotels means that if does not only satisfy hotels, employees, and guests but improves the personal ability. also it is important for the method of hotel operation as a management. Therefor, hotel managers have to get a good human resources, at the same time, improve the potential ability from them in order to get development for industries and a person. This study in the effective project for the human resources in hotels is relation to the organization of hotel sand he factor of human resources. This research if focused on the property of classification each factor in the control of human resources. according to the classification, the relationship and an effect are commonly made in groups of properties and are named respectively.

Relationships of Self-Efficacy to Creative Disposition and Ability in University Students Major in Health Care (간호.보건계 대학생의 자기효능감과 창의적 성향 및 능력간의 관계)

  • Purpose : This study was aimed at examining the relationships of university students' self-efficacy to creative disposition and creative thinking ability. Method : A descriptive study was conducted with a sample of 320 students enrolled 4-year-undergraduate academic programs major in nursing as well as elderly care management in one University located in Pusan, Korea. This study used: (a) 24 items of Self-Efficacy Scale originally developed by Kim & Cha(1996), and (b) 39 items of creative thinking ability and 16 items of creative attitudes in a Self-Report Form of Integrative Creativity Scale developed by Bak & Kang(2006). The data were analyzed by using Pearson correlation and hierarchical multiple regression methods. Result : University students' self-efficacy has significantly positive impact on creative thinking ability(p<.001) with 26.4% of the variance and creative disposition(p<.001) with 48.9%. Creative thinking ability as well as the disposition related to creativity that university students possessed were significantly influenced by efficacy on self-control and efficacy on taking difficult tasks. Conclusion : This result supports Social Cognitive Theory and Investment Theory of Creativity in terms that self-efficacy is the factor affecting fostering creative ability and demonstration of creativity potential to the real. This also implies that healthcare educational programs reinforcing students' self-efficacy would contribute to breed them to healthcare professionals with creative competency.

Effect of Microcurrent Wave Superposition on Cognitive Improvement in Alzheimer's Disease Mice Model (알츠하이머 질환 마우스에서 중첩주파수를 활용한 미세전류가 인지능력 개선에 미치는 효과)

  • In the present study, we investigated the effect of microcurrent against cognitive impairment in Alzheimer's disease (AD) mice model. The cognitive impairment was induced by intracerebroventricularly injection of amyloid beta ($A{\beta}$) to ICR mouse brain, and four kinds of micorocurrent wave were applied to AD mice. We observed the improved cognitive ability in microcurrent-applied AD mice through novel object recognition test and Morris water maze test, compared to $A{\beta}$-injected control group. The contents of malondialdehyde generated by $A{\beta}$ in the brain were also reduced by microcurrent application. These effects of microcurrent were related to the modulation of $A{\beta}$ producing and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). Microcurrent down-regulated ${\beta}$-secretase, presenilin 1, and presenilin 2 which were related amyloidogenic pathway, and up-regulated human brain-derived neurotrophic factor in the mice brain, especially Wave4 group [STEP FORM wave form (0, 1.5, 3, 5V), wave superposition]. These results suggest that microcurrent application could provide help for improvement learning and memory ability, at least partly.

Image Coding of Visually Weighted t Discrete Cosine Transform (시각 하중 이산여현변환 영상부호화)

  • Utilizing a cosine transform in image compression has several recognized performance benefits, resulting in the ability to attain large compression ratio with small quality loss. Also, various models incorporating Human Visual System (HVS) to Discrete Cosine Trans-form (DCT) scheme are considered. Using the exact frequency components of DCT basis function, the optimum modulation transfer function (MTF) is obtained analytically. The errors at a block boundary which is important factor in transform coder are criteria for error measurement. The HVS weight coding results in perceptually higher quality images compared with the unweighted scheme.
