외국인 근로자들은 90년대 들어 그 수가 급격히 증가하였고, 각종 제조업이나 3D업종에서 중요한 위치를 차지하게 되었다. 이러한 상황에서 정부는 산업기술 연수생이라는 제도를 통해서 편법적으로 외국인 근로자를 수입하는 정책을 유지해왔었다. 산업기술 연수생은 불분명한 신분을 가진 외국인 근로자들에 대한 차별과 인권 유린으로 수많은 사업장 이탈자를 만들었다. 2004년 8월에 도입된 '고용허가제'는 그 동안의 국내 외국인력 정책을 그 근본에서부터 바꿨다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 고용허가제의 도입은 제조업 및 서비스업 뿐만 아니 라 건설업에도 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 외국인 근로자와 고용허가제의 정보를 바탕으로 고용허가제가 건설현장에 미치는 인건비, 작업품질 및 태도, 노동력 수급, 의사소통에 대해 현장관리자와의 설문조사를 실시하였다. 도출된 현장관리자들의 인식을 통해 향후 건설업에서의 부작용을 제거하고 대응방안을 제시하고자 한다.

21th is the century of culture. So each country create new culture from tradition, and at the hub, there is Rapid development of network which makes these things to be able. Also, Korea selected Han-Bok as a symbol of Korea culture, and also Han-Bok internationally. Han-Bok expresses our nation's emotion very well, and also, Han-Bok has universality that can stimulate on world's sensitivity. Consequently, this study will arrange and analyze the records of foreigners' feeling who visited in the period of the opening of a port as a target of our study. This study will offer materials for study in the period of the opening of a port. Also, this study will discover the significance and organization of our clothes. Way to wear it and the beauty of our clothes that we didn't even realize or not mentioned on the record because we were too accustomed to our beauty from the ancient time. So, we would like to be basic study that can make our clothes globally and appeal to world's sensitivity by finding the universality. The result of this study is as follows. First, the items of hat made us be called as a 'world of hat' so, Gat, Galmo(갈모), a women's winter hat(조바위), a fur-lined hood(남바위) and Ayam(아얌) will be obtained the world's focus. Secondly, we checked Belt, breast-tie, rainbow striped sleeves and Pocket which append vitality and movement arrested the foreigners' attention. Thirdly, foreigner's were interested with straw shoes and paper shoes.

This study analyses patent information of apparel design using computer technology and researches the trend of patent application focused on International Patent Classification. In terms of trend by filling data, Patent application started first in 1974 and increased sharply in 1993 with 14 cases and increased to 25 cases in 2000. In case of Korea, they began somewhat late in 1996, but reached a similar level with the leading country in 2000. In terms of trend by applicant, Gerber Garment Technology, Inc. filed 7 cases TORAY IND INC, filed 6 cases Levi Strauss & Co. filed 4 cases, NEC HOME ELECTRONICS LTD filed 3 cases, TOYOBO CO LTD filed 3 cases. Japanese companies occupied 52% and United States's companies occupied 48%. In terms of trend by country, foreigner occupied 47% of the patents filed by United State. Japanese take up 10% of total patent of United States. Korean occupied 84% of total patent of Korea and foreigner, american occupied 16% of the patents filed by Korea. In regared to International Patent Classification, in the section level G filed 92 cases(53%). In class level, G06 marked the first place in United States, Japan, and Korea. In subclass level, G06F marksed the first place with 74 cases. G06T and A61B were regarded as the new technologies. The new technologies are representing the dimensions of garment or computer-rendered model, providing the virtual reality through the texture mapping, digital dressing room or virtual dressing, and performing or retriving display on a screen for the result of changing pattern ao dress design, The technologies of core patent are designing or producing custom manufactured item, providing or prealtering the data for pattern making and visually displaying, interactively generating or previewing of various articles.

외국인 환자 유치 활동을 통해 내원한 외국인 환자들의 데이터를 바탕으로 그들의 특성을 조사, 분석하여 차후 국가별 마케팅 전략 수립 시 필요한 근거자료로 사용하기 위하여 최근 3년 동안 W척추전문병원에 내원한 외국인 환자의 만족도를 연구하였다. 2010년부터 2011년 사이에 91명의 입원환자를 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 환자들은 국적에 따라 방문동기, 의료 및 의료외 서비스에 대한 이용 양태와 만족도에 차이가 있었다. 이 연구는 사회인구학적 특성, 방문목적, 한국 체류일, 총 한국 방문횟수, 동반자, 치료 계획 여부, W병원 선택이유, 의료비용, 총 한국 체류비용 등을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 한국을 더 많이 방문한 환자들, 한국 방문 이전에 치료계획을 세운 방문자들, 진료비가 적정했다고 생각하는 환자들의 만족도가 높았다. 외국인 환자를 더 많이 유치하기 위해서는 의료팸투어1, 진료비의 투명화, 의료서비스 수준의 향상과 더불어 척추전문병원의 육성이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

The study investigated the recognition and preference of foreigner to Korean foods in different nationality. Questionnaires consisted of two languages- Chinese and English were given to 180 residing foreigners in Insa-dong and COEX mall areas and interview methods were used. A total of 157 questionnaires were analyzed for statistical analysis. The statistical analysis was completed using SPSS Win(ver 11.0) for descriptive analysis, ${\chi}^2-test$, ANOVA and Tukey's test. Main results of this study were as follows: First, the factors foreigners considered when they chose food of other countries were; 1.new taste, 2.curiosity, 3.foreign culture, 4.foreign tradition. People from European and Asian countries were inclined to 'New taste' first, while people from American and Oceanian countries were inclined to "curiosity". Second, most of respondents have tried Bulgogi and Galbi before and many of them also have tried Kimchi, Kimbop, and Bibimbop as common Korean foods. Third, the preference was different according to their origins. Asian people liked diverse cuisines including Bulgogi, Galbi, Kimchi, Dubu Doenjan chige, and Samgaetang, while European and Oceanian people liked Bulgogi, Galbi, and Bibimbop. The preference for Kimchi was considerably high among Asian people, however, low among American and Oceanian people(p<0.05). Fourth, Deviation was little on the taste, color, and table settings of Korean foods; most of the respondents was satisfied on those factors. European and Oceanian people who were familiar with table setting according to time were satisfied at table setting of Korean foods, which focused on space, rather than time. Fifth, most of the respondents, especially Asian people, remarked that Korean foods were spicy. The opinion on the taste of Korean foods was variable according to their nations. Currently many of culinary companies from Korea were leading their active business in foreign countries such as China and United States. Their domain was not limited to traditional Korean foods, but expanding to various fields such as fast foods, bakery goods, and fusion snacks.

Korea has strong power for internet and nuke personal media mini home page, and cafe, blog. Blog is useful for spread information and has efficiency of speedy exchange information. In this study making blog contents of Korean traditional cultural information for not only Korean but foreigner. For method find blog has possibility of cultural information spreading tool, in literature and investigate usefulness and contents of naver blog having Korean traditional costume. In this study, it is helpful to open and construction personal blog of korean traditional costume and traditional culture contents.

한의학, 진단학에서 사용되는 홍채 촬영용 광학계를 설계 제작해 보았다. 전체 구성은 광원부, 결상광학계, 촬상구동부, 진단 S/W로 되어있다. 결상광학계는 FD60, BACD5의 재질로 색수차를 제거한 0.58X배의 축소광학계로 설계하였다. 결상광학계의 국산화는 제품 전체의 원가절감에 큰 기여를 하게 되었다. 제작되어진 촬영장치는 외국제품과 비교해 볼 때 영상의 입체감에서 우수한 성능을 가직 가지게 되었다.

Chinese employees in Korea have been the leading workers, about 260,000 of 700,000(3% of total employees), in our foreigner's job market. The corporate cultural adaptation of Chinese people is very important to the corporate productivity as well as the Korea economy. The objectives of this paper are to compare the corporate cultural adaptation and job performance of Chinese employees in Korea and to propose the efficient business policies for firm employing Chinese. The propositions could be summarized that language skills and pre-training are positive to the corporate cultural adaptation. This adaptation improved the job performance as a role of motivators in their firms. The job satisfaction and job involvement based on the corporate cultural adaptation are positive relationship to the job performance.

Given the noteworthy increase in the number of native-born English-speaking. EFL instructors teaching overseas, this research examined 6 American EFL instructors who had taught English abroad with special reference to their experience as foreigner instructors in their respective host countries. With the use of interviews as the major technique employed, this research was centered on identifying conflicts or difficulties the research participants encountered as novice instructors, both internal and external to the classroom settings of their host countries. Research findings revealed that the current participants were not adequately prepared to cope with new and unfamiliar physical settings of their host countries, or to familiarize themselves with their new classroom settings and students. Studying the various the conflicts which native EFL instructors encountered, both internal and external to the classroom environment, will hopefully shed light on, and provide a more accurate portrayal of EFL professionals' teaching overseas and may provide possible insights into potential solutions to them. Furthermore, the research findings were considered and discussed in terms of acculturation theory.

This paper presents a scheme that generates a caption file by extracting a Closed Caption stream from DTV signal. Note that Closed-Captioning service helps to bridge "digital divide" through extending broadcasting accessibility of a neglected class such as hearing-impaired person and foreigner. In Korea, DTV Closed Captioning standard was developed in June 2007, and Closed Captioning service should be supported by an enforcing law in all broadcasting services in 2008. In this paper, we describe the method of extracting a caption data from MPEG-2 Transport Stream of ATSC-based digital TV signal and generating a caption file (SAMI and SRT) using the extracted caption data and time information. Experimental results verify the feasibility of a generated caption file using a PC-based media player which is widely used in multimedia service.
