The current study examines how ethnocentrism influences the relationship between country image, product image, quality, and purchase intention for foreign goods. It is necessary to explore and analyze the connection between consumer ethnocentrism and purchase intention to develop marketing strategies that influence consumers' purchasing decisions. Accordingly, this article develops the research model to determine the impact of specific product determinants on consumer purchase intention towards foreign products. An online survey was carried out to reach the research objective. Four hundred effective questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 23 and Smart PLS 3.3. The results showed that foreign product quality and image have a significant positive impact on consumers' intentions to buy foreign goods. Furthermore, consumer ethnocentrism significantly moderates product quality and purchase intention relationships. The study's findings could help marketers develop effective marketing techniques while also being helpful to academics and consumers in general.

When materials such as metal are into the secondary side of steam generator, they, so called foreign objects, may have influences on the integrity of the steam generator tubes. They cause the tube wear due to the relative motion between the tubes and foreign objects and the tube impact due to flow. The best way to avoid the effects is to remove all the foreign objects. However, it is not easy to remove the foreign materials thoroughly due to their condition such as the location. Considering the wear and impact by the foreign materials, KEPRI(Korea Electric Power Research Institute) developed the methodology to evaluate the foreign materials analytically. This methodology was described with a computer program in order to obtain the fast results. The program informs whether the tubes have the structural integrity when the foreign material strikes the tubes. Moreover, this gives us the remaining life of the steam generator tubes. In this paper, the program, which evaluates the effects of the foreign objects in the secondary side of steam generator, is introduced.

본 연구는 외국인 노동자들이 지각하는 사회적 배제가 그들의 심리적 복지감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기 지역에 거주하며 생산직 등의 단순기능 업무에 종사하는 외국인 노동자 214명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과 그들이 지각하는 사회적 배제는 보통 수준보다 조금 높은 반면에 심리적 복지감은 보통 수준보다 낮았다. 심리적 복지감은 체류기간, 건강상태, 한국어 능력, 현 직장의 근무기간 등에 따라 집단별로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났지만, 체류자격과 월수입 등에서는 집단별로 유의미한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 현 직장의 근무기간, 건강상태, 한국어 능력, 사회적 배제의 하위요인 중에서 소비활동 및 생산활동 등이 통계적으로 유의미하게 심리적 복지감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Purpose: After the reform and opening up, China's overall economic development has entered a new era. From mutual investment and trade transactions between domestic provinces and regions to investment and trade with foreign companies, the continuous supplement of investment funds makes the follow-up development of all aspects of economic development smoother and has played a strong impetus. effect. Foreign direct investment has many influences on the economic development of a country or region. Research design, data and methodology: This article uses the sample data of Shandong Province from 2011 to 2019 to analyze the foreign direct investment in Shandong Province by industry, region, method and other aspects, and study the relationship and influence between foreign direct investment and economic growth. Results: The results show that there is a relatively close relationship between foreign direct investment and economic growth, and it has played a role in promoting economic development in many aspects such as industrial structure, foreign trade, and employment. Conclusions: At the same time, corresponding suggestions are put forward based on the analysis and conclusions drawn.

This study was designed to examine the level of middle-aged wives' buying tendency of foreign appliances and the degree of their satisfaction, as well as to examine socio-demographic variables, psychological variables and their influences on buying tendency and post-purchase satisfaction. 318 middle-aged wives residing in Seoul and Pusan were questionnaired. Major finding are as follows: 1) Middle-aged wives' buying-tendency of foreign appliances proved more than middle-point. 2) Variables that affect buying-tendency are four: income, education level, preference for expensive goods, preference for well-known labels. 3) Variables that affect post-purchase satisfaction of foreign appliances are four: imcome, husband's occupation, preference for expensive goods, buying tendency.

본 연구는 다양한 수익률 기간에서 미국 달러와 일본 엔화에 대한 우리나라 기업의 환노출과 비대칭성을 분석하고, 환노출이 어떠한 변수에 의해 영향을 받는지를 검토하는데 목적이 있다. 달러와 엔에 대한 외환위기 이후의 환노출을 분석한 결과, 장기수익률과 환노출 사이에 단조 증가하는 형태가 아니라 2개월이나 3개월 수익률에서 높은 환노출을 보이다가 감소한 후 다시 증가하는 모습을 보이고 있다. 또한 환노출의 결정요인 가운데는 성장기회가 두 통화 모두 대부분의 분석기간과 수익률에서 유의한 관계를 보이고 있다. 기업규모는 환노출과 음의 관계를 갖고 있으며, 외환위기 이후 단기 환노출에서만 발생하고 있다. 수출비중과 레버리지는 분석기간과 수익률에 따라 다양한 결과를 보이며, 유동성 변수는 미미한 영향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 비대칭성에 대한 분석 결과, 우리나라 기업의 환노출은 비대칭성을 갖고 있으며, 이는 시장점유율 이론으로 설명할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 비대칭을 설명하는 요인 가운데는 수출비중이 공통적으로 나타나고 있어, 수출비중이 환노출의 비대칭성을 발생시키는 주요 원인인 것으로 분석되었다.

다국적기업의 해외 연구개발 활동은 현지 국가에 최신 기술 지식 이전, 고급 일자리 창출 등의 긍정적 효과를 가져다주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에 각국 정부는 해외 다국적기업의 연구개발 투자를 유치하기 위한 많은 노력을 진행해 왔으며, 한국 정부 역시 관련 대책을 마련해 왔다. 그러나 국내에 진출한 외투기업의 연구개발 투자 비율은 여전히 미미하고, 이들 기업의 연구개발 투자 관련 연구 역시 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 외투기업의 연구개발 투자에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해, Dunning의 절충이론에 기반하여 한국 내 외국자본 국적별로 외투기업 연구개발 규모에 대한 OLI 우위의 영향성을 선형회귀모형 및 Tobit 회귀모형으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 한국의 산업 기술력 수준과 지분율은 국적 별 공통적으로 연구개발 규모에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 나머지 우위 요소 관련 가설은 부분 채택 되어 국내에 진출한 외투기업 별 다양성이 존재하는 것으로 분석 되었다. 즉 외투기업들은 L 우위(입지우위)가 있는 분야에서 연구개발을 수행하는데, O 우위(소유자 우위) 및 I 우위(내부화 우위) 고려 여부는 기업 및 국적별로 다르다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 연구 결과는 해외 다국적기업의 국내 연구개발 투자 유치 및 외투기업의 연구개발 투자 확대 관련 정책을 위한 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

Purpose - During a reform period lasting 30 years, the Blue Economic Zone (BEZ) in the Shandong Peninsula has made progress in attracting foreign investment, and has acquired the foreign direct investment (FDI) essential for economic growth. It is therefore important to conduct a proactive and systematic study of FDI in the BEZ. Research design, data, methodology - This dissertation discusses the contribution of FDI on economic growth, from both a theoretical and empirical perspective. Taking seven core cities for study, statistics and econometrics are used, and panel data are used to validate FDI contribution to import and export in the BEZ. Results- FDI was found to exert both positive and negative influences on the imports and exports of the BEZ. In other words, the research findings are consistent with Trade Generated and Inverse Trade Generated theories put forward by Kojima and Mundell, among other researchers mentioned earlier in this paper. Further, FDI has greatly increased imports and exports for the BEZ. Conclusions - According to the results of this empirical study on local investment environment optimization, FDI plays an important role in foreign trade. This dissertation puts forward recommendations on using FDI to better promote economic growth in the BEZ.

Bangladesh's growing foreign aid has sparked controversy over whether it affects the country's economic performance. This review assesses foreign aid's influence on the country's economic growth with annual data covering the 1989-2018 period. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model is applied to achieve the research objective, and the empirical results indicate a substantial and robust impact of foreign assistance on economic growth. The outcome further reveal that domestic investment also contributes significantly to the country's economic evolution. However, trade openness plays a substantial positive role in the short run, although the impact is immaterial in the long run. The empirical findings indicate that the association between aid, domestic investment, and growth has a confident meaningful effect at 1 per cent level in the long run, whereas aid influences more than domestic investment. However, in the short run, aid, domestic investment, trade openness, and growth show positive and noteworthy response also at 1 percent level. This review undertakes a detailed analysis about the country's economic growth, and grounded on its outcome, this work suggests that focus should be placed more on creating domestic investment, promoting more export, and allocation of aid should be determined by the relative needs of the country.

This paper uses social network theory and the internationalization process model (IPM) to determine how external network linkages influence the location choices of multinational enterprise from emerging economies (EMNEs); specifically, whether past alliance experience influences location choices and its impact on the subsequent entry of MNEs from emerging economies. This paper applies survival analysis using initial and secondary investments from 2,000 Chinese A-share listed companies that entered 90 countries between 1997 and 2018 to analyze both the initial and subsequent entries of Chinese outward foreign direct investments (OFDIs) in major host countries. The findings indicate that an MNE's previous experience with a company from a particular country will increase the likelihood of an initial investment in that country. Previous alliance experience may accelerate the foreign investment process of EMNE and stimulate firms making a commitment to a position in a foreign network, regardless of cultural distance and stage of internationalization. Alliance before initial investment may increase the likelihood and speed of entering a host country as wholly owned subsidiaries and that network linkages not only significantly influence the internationalization process of small and medium-sized enterprises, as indicated by the IPM, but also that of large listed firms.
