  • Purpose: Consumers have become more interested in eating organic food in recent decades because of the effect of merchants' advertising. Eating organic food is also shown to strengthen immunity, especially during the recent COVID-19 pandemic. However, consumers may find it more difficult to choose organic food retailers than to purchase conventional goods. This is because of the uncertainty characterizing the process of selecting organic food retailers, despite the growing rivalry across supermarket chains that sell organic goods. This study explores how consumers' perceived image (social responsibility and ability image) of organic food stores affects consumer loyalty. Research design, data and methodology: The data for the analysis were collected using Macromill Embrain, an online research service agency. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26 and Smart PLS 4.0. Results: Based on structural equation modeling, the findings of the study demonstrate that store image positively impactsstore loyalty, and that the mediator (perceived value) affects the relationship between the two variables. Conclusions: Organic food stores must understand consumers to improve store loyalty. Efforts such as providing a user community that enables joint behavior by sharing experiences among customers or launching campaigns to improve consumers' perceived brand identity can increase store loyalty.

The data was then subjected to normality and reliability assessment followed by confirmatory factor analysis, validity assessment and structural equation modelling using IBM SPSS AMOS 24.0. Results: Findings revealed that service quality, perceived benefits and brand familiarity affects purchase intention positively and significantly. Perceived benefits demonstrated highest impact on purchase intention followed by brand familiarity and service quality. Findings also suggest that e-WOM fully mediates relationship between brand familiarity and purchase intention, however, the same was not observed for remaining two variables. Conclusions: The study has enriched OFD literature by investigating impact of selected key factors on purchase intention in the context of OFD. Implications, limitations and future research avenues are then discussed.

Food service companies are using social commerce, which is discount sales, as a marketing tool. There are many food service companies using social commerce as a sales and marketing tool. However, little research has investigated food service customers. Purchasing factor is divided into supplier and business operator side and the impact of the relationships between its subordinate factors (price discount, offering diversity, mutual action, brand intimacy) and customer's satisfaction is analyzed. As a result, price discount and brand intimacy show higher results. Offering diversity and brand intimacy of purchasing factor on business operator side shows a higher impact on the relationship between loyalty and ?? (Ed- 'the relationship between A and B'; what is B?). The study implications are as follows. The food service industry should establish different marketing strategies to apply social commerce and compare with social commerce business operators, because the actual place where customers use food service is food service restaurants and not just social commerce websites.
