Purpose : The demand for skilled critical care nurses and the significant impact of the practice-readiness gap underscore the need for educational programs bridging nursing education and clinical practice. This would ensure safe, high-quality patient care and a stable workforce. This study aimed to explore the educational needs of critical care nurses to develop an essential nursing education program for nursing students, addressing the practice-readiness gap they may encounter as new nurses. Methods : The study espoused a qualitative approach by utilizing focus group interviews conducted in South Korea in April and May 2022. A total of 11 nurses participated in the study. Data were collected from three focus groups, each consisting of three to four nurses from intensive care units. Focus group interviews were conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire. Content analysis was performed on the interview data using thematic analysis. Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the institutional review board. Results : Nursing education programs in intensive care units should prioritize fundamental nursing competencies such as basic nursing and physical examinations. Participants' critical care nursing education needs were categorized into four main themes: holistic nursing competency, advancement of practical education, skilled communication, and systematic critical care nursing education. Conclusion : The study's findings provide valuable insights and guidelines for developing critical and intensive care nursing education programs tailored for nursing students.
As there is impulsive buying that is pervasive phenomenon in the clothing consumption area, many academics and practitioners have been interested in it. Although prior studies have provided useful insights for understanding and predicting consumers' impulsive behavior, the findings do not clearly explain why different consumers influence impulsive behavior differently even when presented with the same shopping environment. Regulatory focus theory (Higgins, 1987, 1997, 2001) provides an insight for better understanding of consumers' impulsive responses to the elements of shopping experience. Thus, the purpose of our research was to understand the effect of consumers' regulatory focus (i.e., promotion focused vs. prevention focused) on their shopping experiences and impulsive behavior. A total of 157 data collected from female consumers lived in Ulsan and Pusan was used for this study. The results were as follows: First, sensitive experience and emotional experience have significantly positive effects on impulsive buying, but rational experience does significantly negatively effects on it. Second, to test the moderating effects of consumers' regulatory focus, responses were divided into two groups including promotion-focused group (n = 91) and prevention-focused group (n = 66) based on the relative strength of one type of their regulatory focus, which was introduced by Higgins (2001). Multiple regression analysis (independent variables: shopping experience, dependant variable: impulsive buying) was run within each group. The results showed that for the promotion-focused group, sensitive and emotional experience have significantly positive effects on impulsive buying. For prevention focused group, sensitive experience has significantly positive effects on impulsive buying and rational experience does significantly negatively effects on it. Chow's and Fisher's z-test were confirmed that the relationship between shopping experience and impulsive buying behavior was significantly different depending on consumers' regulatory focus.
The purpose of this study to review clinicians and educators on required communication education factors of dental hygienists using qualitative research by focus group interview. The participants were dentists, dental hygienists and professors. A questionnaire was developed on communication education to collect data. The collated data derived concepts related to communication education. After transferring the data, were analyzed by open coding and axial coding using computer-aided qualitative data analysis software. Focus group emphasized that higher education on communication should be preceded before they are put into the clinical field. However, the dental hygienist emphasized experiential education in the clinical field, the professor emphasized additional education for continuity of communication education even after graduation. Besides, focus group emphasized role play, and the professor required that the standardization of the dental communication training courses objectives and role play modules and the education environment infrastructure should be established to implement communication education efficiently. The categories of communication education stated in the focus group were time and method for the dental communication training courses, dental communication training courses standardization and educational environment, of evaluation of communication competency, of perception of the dental communication training courses. This study identified the communication education development to conform with the needs of the clinical field strengthen and cultivate communication competency dental hygienists based on factors of communication education emphasized in focus groups.
The purpose of this study is to classify the appearance concern into groups and analyze the differences of the attitude toward plastic surgery and clothing behavior by groups. Questionnaires are administered to 206 female adults in their 20's-50's living in Deagu and Kyungbook areas from $10^{th}$ July to $19^{th}$ July, 2013. Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test and ${\chi}^2$-test were used for data analysis. The appearance concern is categorized as follows: appearance harmony focus and body focus. The attitude toward plastic surgery was found as risk tolerance, image improvement/surgery desire and keeping the secret of surgery. Clothing behaviors are found as individuality focus, other focus, convenience and luxury ostentation. The appearance concern shows a significant correlation with the sub-variable attitude toward plastic surgery and clothing behavior. One test in the groups is determined by demographic variables like occupancy and monthly income. Appearance concerns are classified into three groups as follows: appearance concern group, low appearance concern group and body concern group. The groups show a significant difference in the attitude toward plastic surgery and clothing behavior. This difference indicates that the 20's show a high body focus on their appearance concern, an attitude of image improvement/surgery desire toward plastic surgery and another individuality focus on clothing behavior while 50's care more about convenience in their clothing behavior.

This paper aims to explore a comparative instructional effects among meaning-based communicative language teaching, input-enhanced FnF instruction and output-enhanced FnF instruction in order to optimize the teaching methods of target grammar and vocabulary. The experiment selected three homogeneous groups of 30 students in each group for the comparison: One comparative group with communicative language teaching, one input-enhanced FnF group and another output-enhanced FnF group. The result indicates that the input-enhanced group outperformed the comparative group in the grammar test with statistical significance and the output-enhanced group overweighted the comparative group in the vocabulary test. However, no significant statistical difference was found between the input-enhanced group and the output-enhanced group. The conclusion from the result could bear the following pedagogical implication: The general English education must use the eclectic method of adopting communicative language teaching with FnF of input-enhanced target grammar and output-enhanced target vocabulary to supplement the students with the basic vocabulary and grammar.

This study, we will identify and analyze the current status and trends of successful field trips and field experience learning in Korea to improve the future operation of the center so that the purpose of enhancing the regional economic ripple effect in Gyeongsangbuk-do and regaining its reputation as a school trip mecca and No. 1 location can be found. This study conducted qualitative research through FGI (Focus Group Interview) on accommodation managers, tourism-related stakeholders, tourism officials stakeholders, and tourism professors in order to explore new concepts of field trips and field experience learning in 23 cities and counties in Gyeongsangbuk-do, and ways to develop and promote tour programs based on the importance of experience. Through the FGI (Focus Group Interview) analysis results, problems related to improvement of accommodation, food and beverage, safety and service, cooperation among local tourism officials, enhancement of satisfaction with student group visitors linked to unique tourism resources and promotion, diagnosis and introduction of acceptance posture, and management of local residents, local tourism officials and public officials in Gyeongsangbuk-do needed to present the direction and opportunity of tourism policies in Gyeongsangbuk-do.
The area of design is the key which can create the generation's core values consistently influenced by the various media, throughout the rapid growth of technology and globalization. In the past, the design used to be defined as 'aesthetic', 'decorative', and 'satisfaction of the sensibility'. However, we believe it is time for a different value followed by the issue of user's different backgrounds and cultures. As the need arises, cross culture study has requested that we analyze how we understand the user's backgrounds and cultures. By doing so, it defines the user's needs like focus group interviews and methodology on process of product development or evaluation. Therefore the subject of this study is how the communication between two groups are affected by the difference between two cultures that centers on focus group interviews which has different consequence by diverse cultural backgrounds and personalities. Because personalities cannot be separated from cultural context, we have the compared group as a result of MBTI and establish practical methodology for proving the cultural factor which influenced to the difference of communication ways.

There are a lot of effort to improve medical service quality and medical trust in Korean Medicine. However, in spite of importance of personalized medicine, there are still few research about it. Thus, the purpose of this study is to grope ways to improve medical service quality and medical trust by sympathy module group and personalized trust. People over 19 were participated in investigation. We divided respondents into 4 groups depending on sympathy module group and 2 groups depending on speed of trust. Questionnaire was consisted of questions about sympathy module group, speed of trust, medical service quality, medical trust, satisfaction and happiness. This questionnaires were conducted through personal interviews. Total 220 members responded to the survey and the results of the analysis were as follows. Rational type had the highest proportion. At Medical service quality scale, Prevention focus group had most highest figure on Confidence. Promotion focus group and Rational Group had most highest figure on Sympathy. At Medical trust scale, Medical team had the highest proportion at all group. Prevention focus group put more emphasis on sense of sanitation, At Satisfaction and Happiness scale, Satisfaction and Happiness was most affected by Trust in Sincerity and Ability. This study can be very useful for composing kit of treatment of personalized medicine. But this study has also some limits such as respondent selection, disease selection etc. So, more detailed and comprehensive survey is needed.
Children's food behaviors have been expressed in a various ways because of recent changes in their family environment. Thus, this study was performed to investigate in-depth qualitative research on the mother's perception on children's food behaviors by focused group interview. This study was designed in four steps of planning, collection of participants, process, and analysis. Participants for the focus group interview were recruited and sampled from households with elementary school students in the Seoul and Gyeonggido areas. Groups were divided by total income and education expense levels. 1) High income household: It is better to improve currently existing web sites for nutrition education. 2) Mid income household: Easy, practical, and inexpensive off-line cooking class/nutrition education classes for mothers are needed. Nutrition programs for children should be developed through mass media and be promoted in the broadcasting circle. 3) Low income household: Motivation is required for mothers' educatior and the serious nutritional problems of children should be informed through mass media and home correspondence from school. And interesting educational materials should be developed for children to read whenever they want.
Purpose: To examine the degree of recognition regarding the concept of patient safety, as perceived by the patient, using a focus group discussion. Methods: A focus group discussion was conducted with a patient group comprising seven patients. Results: When the participants heard the term "patient safety" they seemed to understand it to be related to the hospital environment or satisfaction with the overall hospitalization experience. The participants emphasized communication between the medical staff and the patients in relation to the explanation of treatments, as well as the provision of information regarding prevention, experience, and the treatment of incidents with patient safety. They agreed on the need for indicators reported by patients. However, they emphasized that additional items and a questionnaire method that considers the patients' point of view are needed. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish and implement various strategies that can raise the awareness of patient safety using patient safety indicators and increase participation in patient safety activities.
