Floating floor를 이용한 강구조물의 바닥충격음 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study of floor impact noise reduction in a steel structure by using the floating floor)

  • In this paper, floor impact noise reduction in a steel structure is studied. A mock-up is built by using 6t steel plate, and two identical cabins are made where 25t panel is used to construct wall and ceiling inside the steel structure. Various floating floor systems are tested for which normalized impact noise is measured according to ISO 140-7. In addition, floor SBN(Structure-borne Noise) and floor damping are measured to study the effect of floating floor. structure. It is shown that VL(Visco-elastic Layer) is more effective when hard plates are added above the VL.

  • The noise and vibration which are occurred by equipment and rail under the train are directly delivered to passenger and effect on comfort. For this reason, Floating floor structure has been applied to Rolling Sotck for minimizing the noise and vibration. And in respect of Floating floor, the strength is an important design element. Because the train has many heavy equipments and accommodates lots of passenger. At the early design stage of Floating floor, different joint type and thickness of plywood, etc. were applied and some problem happened. To solve the problems and apply to the future projects, the standard model of Floating floor structure was required. To find optimum design and standard model for Floating floor structure of Rolling Stock, the applied Floating floor models were analysed by CAE (computer-aided engineering).

뜬바닥구조의 균열강도 평가 (Evaluation of Cracking Strength of Floating Floor System)

  • 이 연구에서는 층간소음을 억제하기 위하여 사용되는 뜬바닥구조의 구조거동을 실험을 통하여 평가하였다. 최근 층간소음을 억제하기 위하여 연질의 완충재가 사용되며, 이로 인하여 마감모르타르나 기포콘크리트에 균열이 발생할 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 이 연구에서는 완충재의 강성, 하중가력 위치, 바닥 구성층을 변수로 하는 16개의 2방향 뜬바닥구조를 실험하였다. 실험에 의하면 완충재의 강성은 뜬바닥구조의 균열강도에 큰 영향을 미치며 완충재의 할선계수가 0.2MPa인 경우에 낮은 강도에서 균열이 발생하였다. 또한 슬래브의 단부나 모서리에 하중이 가력될 경우에 균열강도가 감소하였다. 뜬바닥구조를 이루고 있는 마감모르타르는 균열강도에 영향을 주었지만 기포콘크리트는 균열강도에 영향을 주지 않았다.

  • A floating floor generally consists of mortar bed separated from the structural RC slab by a continuous resilient layer. It is known that the floating floors are a type of vibration-isolation system to improve the impact sound insulation performance. However, some researchers have demonstrated that the amplification of vibration response at a specific range of frequencies results in an increase in the impact sound level. This study carried out the forced vibration tests to obtain the frequency response function (FRF) of a floating floor compared with a bare RC slab. Test results shows that the additional peak occur in vibrational spectrum of the floating floor except natural vibration modes of the bare RC slab. This is because the relatively flexible resilient material and mass of the mortar bed offer an additional degree of freedom in the structural system. Therefore, it could be efficient for reduction of floor impact vibration and noise to control the additional mode frequency and response of floating floors.

  • To reduce interior noise of running vehicles, a floating floor construction has been widely used in recent railway industry. Among the key factors of the floating floor design, dynamic stiffness is of most important in acoustical point of view. Sometimes hard rubber type supports have often been selected due to the other design constraints such as heavy load condition, durability of rubber element and its cost etc., even though it seems like the softer support, the better isolation of noise and vibration. In this paper two representative floor supports have been considered to evaluate their effectiveness in interior noise contribution: one is a soft rubber and another is a relatively hard one. From the measured dynamic stiffness of the specimens, equivalent stiffness of actual floating floor has been derived to use in the analytical models. Calculated air-borne and structure-borne noise insulation properties of the floating floors have been compared with experiments in prototype car. In full car model interior noise levels of running vehicles have been predicted to quantify the effectiveness of the two different floating support materials and verified through the measured inside noise levels of actual train as well. By comparison with difference of running noise levels two materials for floor support can be investigated quantitatively so that it could be applied in floating floor design.

  • Heavy-weight floor impact noise is directly related to the impact source and floor vibration property. Dynamic properties of the standard floating floor that is used in Korea was investigated using accelerance, acceleration energy spectral density(ESD), and structural modal test. In the standard floating floor, natural frequency was decreased by the finishing mortar mass and the damping ratio was increased. Bang-machine force spectrum acting on the concrete slab can be calculated using inverse system analysis. Impact force acting on concrete slab is changed by interaction of finishing mortar and resilient material. The amplitude of the bang-machine force spectrum was amplified in low frequency range(below 100 Hz), and over 100 Hz was decreased. Changed force spectrum influence to the response of structure vibration, so the heavy-weight floor impact noise level was changed.

  • In this paper, floor impact noise reduction in a cruise ship cabin by using floating floor is studied. A mock-up is built by using 61 steel plate, and two identical cabins are made where 25t panel is used to construct wall and ceiling inside the steel structure. Various floating floor systems are tested for which normalized impact noise is measured according to ISO 140-7 It is shown that effect of VL(Visco-elastic Layer) is negligible when it is used between deck and mineral wool, since most vibration absorption occurs in the wool. In addition, direction of the mineral wool fiber affects impact noise significantly.
