This paper presents to study the path tracking method of AGV(autonomous guided vehicle) which has a laser guidance system. An existing automatic guided vehicles(AGVs) which were able to drive on wired line only had a automatic guidance system. However, the automatic guidance systems that those used had the high cost of installation and maintenance, and the difficulty of system change according to variation of working environment. To solve such problems, we make the laser guidance system which is consisted of a laser navigation and gyro, encoder. That is robust against noise, and flexible according to working environment through sensor fusion. The laser guidance system can do a perfect autonomous driving. However, the commercialization of perfect autonomous driving system is difficult, because the perfect autonomous driving system must recognize the whole environment of working space. Hence, this paper studied the path tracking of AGV using laser guidance system without wired line. The path tracking method is consisted of virtual path generation method and driving control method. To experiment, we use the fork-type AGV which is made by ourselves, and do a path tracking experiments repeatedly on same experimental environment. In result, we verified that proposed system is efficient and stable for actual fork-type AGV.

In this paper, we present the load-deflection behavior of GRP pipes. GRP buried pipes are widely used in construction in the advantage of their superior mechanical and physical characteristics such as high chemical resistance, high corrosion resistance, right weight, smooth surface of the pipe, and cost effectiveness from soil-structure interaction. To design flexible pipes to be buried underground, it should be based on the ASTM D2412(2010). When applying ASTM D 2412(2010) to the design, pipe stiffness(PS) must be predetermined by the parallel-plate test which requires tedious and laborious working process. To overcome such problems, the finite element simulations for finding the load-deflection behavior of the GRP flexible pipes is installed at UTM testing machine. In the finite element simulations, basic data, such as the modulus of elasticity of the material and cross-sectional dimension, is used. From the investigation, we found that the difference between experimental result and analytical prediction is less than 15% when the pipe deflected 3% and 5% of its vertical diameter although the pipe material is not uniform across the cross-section.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the welfare status of nurses and the status of fixed night shifts and flexible work arrangements in both general hospitals and advanced general hospitals in Korea. Methods: A total of 167 hospitals participated in this study, done from April to October 2018. Results: There were 103 hospitals utilizing the fixed night shift system, 22 in the two-shift system, 3 in the fixed holiday shift, 79 in the fixed shift system, and 39 in the short-time working system. The average welfare benefits for nurses increased to 33.02 million won on average. However, welfare services for the nurses were poor: 41.8% of the respondents had a nurses' lounge, 81.7% were given dormitory space at their place of employment, 41.8% had access to welfare facilities, and 56.4% were provided with welfare support countermeasures. Conclusion: The results show an increasing trend of hospitals to utilize fixed night shift and flexible work arrangements. An institutional strategy at the national policy level should be established to implement flexible work arrangements including the fixed night shift system, which has a poor level of welfare.

In this study, after 20nm-thick $SiO_2$ thin film was deposited by PECVD method on the PES substrate, which is known to have the highest heat resistance among plastic substrates, as a buffer layer, ITZO thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering method to investigate the electrical and optical properties according to the working pressure. The ITZO thin film deposited at the working pressure of 3mTorr showed the best electrical properties with a resistivity of $8.02{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}-cm$ and a sheet resistance of $50.13{\Omega}/sq.$. The average transmittance in the visible region (400-800nm) of all ITZO films was over 80% regardless of working pressure. The Figure of merit showed the largest value of $23.90{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}^{-1}$ in the ITZO thin film deposited at 3mTorr. This study found that ITZO thin films are very promising materials to replace ITO thin films in next-generation flexible display devices.

In this study, the IOT-based desk layout method was proposed to complement the existing seating method and to improve the work efficiency. The IoT system for the desk layout needs determining the function, type and network protocol of the sensor to find out the working status of the desk to reasonably assist the worker's seat placement. A collection method was proposed. The algorithm used in Block Stacking was used when deciding how to allocate seats using the acquired data. As a result, we could suggest an arithmetic basis for rational desk layout in IoT environment and show that it can be applied to an advanced flexible seating system based on working type in addition to the preferences of employees in the future.

In this study, a flexible multi-body dynamic simulation model of a knuckle boom crane is developed to evaluate the stress of spindle and rack gears under dynamic working conditions. It is difficult to predict potential critical damage to a knuckle boom crane if only the static condition is considered during the development process. To solve this issue, a severe working scenario (high speed with heavy load) was simulated as a boundary condition for testing the integrity of the dynamic simulation model. The crane gear model is defined as a flexible body so contact analysis was performed. The functional motion of a knuckle boom crane is generated by applying forces at each end of the rack gear, which was converted from hydraulic pressure measured for the experiment. The bending and contact stress of gears are theoretically calculated to validate the simulation model. In the simulation, the maximum stress of spindle and rack gears are observed when the crane abruptly stops. Peak impact force is produced at the contact interface between pinion and rack gears due to the inertia force of the boom. However, the maximum stress (bending/contact) of spindle and rack are under the yield stress, which is safe from damage. By using the developed simulation model, the experiment process is expected to be minimized.
As Korea's low birth rate has become a serious social problem, various government-level policy initiatives have been proposed to introduce and expand family-friendly personnel systems for work-family balance. The main causes of low birthrates in Korea are the increased participation of women in economic activities and the difficulties of work-family balance. As part of women's policy, support policies were introduced at various levels such as family-friendly institutions and flexible working systems, but they did not have much effect as an alternative to low birth rates. The implications of family-friendly institutions within the organization beyond low birthrates, which are continuously present, have greater implications at the time of new social transformation. This paper will investigate and discuss the implications of family-friendly policies and the implications of the flexible working system in the civil services.
This is a research for thickness change of denture base according to the shape of sprue & investment position of denture base in flask when injecting polyamid base resin for flexible partial denture as a part of study for Valplast among the flexible partial denture with a nylon base. It has been introduced several kinds of flexible partial denture product with a nylon base, but Valplast is the most widely used product among them. Valplast has been the most generally used material today since developed in 1950s in the United States as a material for flexible partial denture. Valplast is much more aesthetic than general metal-acrylic partial denture due to its translucent pink color and biocompatibility in terms of material characteristic. It keeps its flexibility for a long time after production, imposes a less burden on the teeth used as abutment, and it can be easily insert and remove due to its particular suppleness. Moreover, it is felt like real teeth more than metal-acrylic partial denture when being put in and takes alveolar bone under good protection since it receives occlusal force equally under the denture base. The most outstanding feature of Valplast is flexibility. The extent of its flexibility is determined by width & thickness of denture base. Considering general working procedure of Valplast, it can be seen that the thickness of denture base formed out of wax is increasing by the pressure while injecting resin. This research is to decide and test on the thickness increasing of Valplast by injecting pressure and the hypothesis upon that and is to prepare the basis estimating the increasing extent of thickness of denture base on the basis of the test result. In this test, it is expected occlusal malposition & thickness increasing of denture base by injecting pressure according to 4 kinds of test data which are to select 3 types of sprue method settling the forefront position at which the test material of fixed standard can be invested and to position the test material at the rearmost part keeping the minimum distance to set sprue. For 4 kinds of injecting test by investment position & sprue type, 20 test materials, 5 for each test were produced and a pressure of 1,180Kg was given with automatic injector of air cylinder type. The results are as follows: 1. For the amount of thickness increasing of denture base by investment position, the thickness of front investment is less increasing than the one of rear investment. 2. For the amount of thickness increasing of denture base by sprue type, the thickness of straight decompression sprue type which can absorb the injecting pressure after injecting polyamide base resin is less increasing than the other sprue types.

Purpose: This study was done to identify the causes of turnover in nursing staff in small and medium‐size hospitals and prepare measures to decrease turnover. Nurses in these hospitals were surveyed focusing on their nursing activities, reasons for turnover, and content of their work. Method: A mail survey of hospitals with 300 beds or less was conducted using a questionnaire including items on the current state of nursing, performance of nursing tasks, turnover of nurses, working conditions, and supports and policies related to insufficient number of nurses. Results: The average number of nurses per 100 beds was 37.5, 3.3 less than the prescribed level of 40.8. The turnover rate was higher when the level of remuneration for nursing care was low, and the most frequent reason for nurses leaving was 'move to another hospital', showing that there is a continuous chain of moves for nurses. Other frequent reasons were situations related to working conditions such as childbirth, child care, irregular working hours, night work, and low wages. Conclusion: To guarantee adequate nursing coverage in these hospitals, working conditions for nurses should be improved, including higher wages, a more flexible work system, and installation and operation of 24-hour child care facilities.
Background: Owing to the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, being exposed to work from home and work during nonwork time simultaneously can lead to sleep disturbance; however, their combined effect is unclear. We aimed to investigate the combined effect of work from home and work during nonwork time on sleep disturbance. Methods: This study used data from the Sixth Korean Working Condition Survey and included 27,473 paid workers. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to investigate the relationship between work from home, work during nonwork time, and sleep disturbance according to sex. We re-classified participants into 4 groups based on their working from home (No/Yes) and working during nonwork time (No/Yes). The relative excess risk due to interaction was calculated to examine the effect of exposure to both telecommuting and non-regular work hours on sleep disturbance. Results: Workers exposed to work from home and work during nonwork time had significantly higher risks of sleep disturbance for all, men, and women workers (OR [95% CI]: 1.71 [1.46-2.02], 1.79 [1.43-2.23], and 1.64 [1.29-2.08] for work from home and 3.04 [2.70-3.42], 3.61 [3.09-4.22], and 2.41 [2.01-2.90] for work during nonwork time, respectively). Compared to those who were not exposed to both factors, when workers had both job factors, the ORs (95% CI) of sleep disturbance for all, men, and women were 3.93 (2.80-5.53), 5.08 (3.21-8.03), and 2.91 (1.74-4.87), respectively. The relative excess risk due to interaction of work from home and work during nonwork time was not significant for sleep disturbance. Conclusions: Work from home and work during nonwork time were each associated with sleep disturbance, but the interaction between the two factors on sleep disturbance was not observed in both men and women.
