전위보조전극의 위치변화에 따른 접지저항 측정값의 상대오차분석 (Relative Error Analysis for Measuring Value of Ground Resistance according to Position Variation of Potential Probe))

  • 본 논문에서는 전위강하법을 이용한 접지저항 측정시 전위보조전극의 위치 및 각도의 영향에 대하여 기술하였으며, 측정시 오차를 최소화하는 기법을 제안하였다. 전위강하법은 이론적으로 전위와 전류의 측정원리에 근간을 두고 있으며 측정오차는 주로 보조전극의 위치와 각도에 기인한다. 전위보조전각의 위치에 의한 접지저항 측정값의 상대오차를 분석하기 위해 전류보조전극의 거리를 50[m]로 고정시키고 전위보조전극의 거리를 10[m]에서 50[m]까지 변화시키며 접지저항을 측정하였고 또한 전위보조전극과 전류보조전극 사이의 각도를 30[$^{\circ}$], 45[$^{\circ}$], 60[$^{\circ}$], 90[$^{\circ}$], 180[$^{\circ}$]로 변화시키며 측정하였다. 결과적으로 전위보조전극의 거리 증가 및 전류보조전극과 전위보조전극 사이의 각도가 감소할수록 상대오차가 작게 나타났다. 본 실험결과는 접지시스템의 접지저항을 측정할 때 전위보조전극의 위치를 결정하는데 활용될 수 있다.

Dynamic behavior of submerged floating tunnels at the shore connection considering the use of flexible joints

  • When a submerged floating tunnel is connected to the ground, there is a risk of stress concentration at the shore connection owing to the displacement imbalance caused by low confinement pressures in water and high confinement pressures in the ground. Here, the effects of the boundary condition and stiffness of the joints installed at the shore connection on the behaviors of a submerged floating tunnel and its shore connection were analyzed using a numerical method. The analysis results obtained with fixed and ground boundaries were similar due to the high stiffness of the ground boundary. However, the stability of the shore connection was found to be improved with the ground boundary as a small displacement was allowed at the boundary. The effect of the joint stiffness was evaluated by investigating the dynamic behavior of the submerged floating tunnel, the magnitude of the load acting on the bored tunnel, and the stress distribution at the shore connection. A lower joint stiffness was found to correspond to more effective relief of the stress concentration at the shore connection. However, it was confirmed that joints with low stiffness also increase the submerged floating tunnel displacement and decrease the frequency of the dynamic behavior, causing a risk of increased resonance when wave loads with low frequency are applied. Therefore, it is necessary to derive the optimal joint stiffness that can achieve both stress concentration relief and resonance prevention during the design of shore connections to secure their dynamic stability.

이중여자 유도발전기를 이용한 가변속운전과 정속운전 풍력발전시스템의 운전특성 비교 (Comparison of Characteristics for Variable Operation using Doubly-fed Induction Generator and Fixed Speed Operation in Wind Turbine System)

  • This paper analyzes the steady-state operating characteristics of doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) and fixed-speed induction generator(FSIG) in wind turbine system. It also presents a modeling and simulation of a grid-connected wind turbine generation system for dynamics analysis on MATLAB/Simulink, and compares the responses between DFIG and FSIG wind turbine systems with respect to wind speed variation, 3-phase fault and 1-phase ground fault of the network. Simulation results show the variations of generator's active/reactive output, rotor speed, terminal voltage, fault current, etc. Case studies demonstrate that DFIG illustrates better performance compared to FSIG.

  • The potential use of ranging sensors for reducing the occurrence of accidents in real environment is explored by many companies and laboratories. Most of the sensors under investigation utilize the FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) waveforms. The automotive environment presents to the FMCW radar sensor a multitude of moving and fixed targets and the sensor must detect and track only the targets which may pose a threat of collision or passengers accident. The sensor must function accurately in the presence of background echoes generated by moving and fixed targets, ground reflections, atmospheric noises, including rains, fog, and, snow and noise generated within the receiver. False detection of the desired target in this environment may issue false alarms. That may be dangerous to the passenger and the vehicle. A high false alarm rate is totally unacceptable. The false alarm mechanism consists of noise peaks, crossing the threshold and the undesired response of the system to off lane targets which are not potentially hazardous to the radar equipped vehicle. This paper presents an improve technique safety performance for driver-less operation using FMCW radar sensors.

  • A practical method is proposed to improve hit probability of the digital gun fire control system, when the measured rate of the tracking sensor becomes biased under some operational situation. For ground moving target it is shown that the well-known Kalman filter which uses position measurement only can be optimally used to eliminate the rate bias error. On the other hand, for 3D moving aircraft we present a new algorithm which incorporate FIR-type filter, which uses position and rate measurement at the same time, and the fixed-lag smoother using position measurement only, and show that it has the optimal performance in terms of both estimation accuracy and response time.

Structural redundancy of 3D RC frames under seismic excitations

  • The components of the seismic behavior factor of RC frames are expected to change as structural redundancy increases. Most researches indicate that increasing redundancy is desirable in response to stochastic events such as earthquake loading. The present paper investigated the effect of redundancy on a fixed plan for seismic behavior factor components and the nonlinear behavior of RC frames. The 3D RC moment resistant frames with equal lateral resistance were designed to examine the role of redundancy in earthquake-resistant design and to distinguish it from total overstrength capacity. The seismic behavior factor and dynamic behavior of structures under natural strong ground motions were numerically evaluated as the judging criteria for structural seismic behavior. The results indicate that increasing redundancy alone in a fixed plan cannot be defined as a criterion for improving the structural seismic behavior.

  • Theoretical and graphical analysis of pull-in-voltage and figure of merit for a fixed-fixed capacitive Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) switch is presented in this paper. MEMS switch consists of a thin electrode called bridge suspended over a central line and both ends of the bridge are fixed at the ground planes of a coplanar waveguide (CPW) structure. A thin layer of dielectric material is deposited between the bridge and centre conductor to avoid stiction and provide low impedance path between the electrodes. When an actuation voltage is applied between the electrodes, the metal bridge acquires pull in effect as it crosses one third of distance between them. In this study, we describe behavior of pull-in voltage and figure of merit (or capacitance ratio) of capacitive MEMS switch for five different dielectric materials. The effects of dielectric thicknesses are also considered to calculate the values of pull-in-voltage and capacitance ratio. This work shows that a reduced pull-in-voltage with increase in capacitance ratio can be achieved by using dielectric material of high dielectric constant above the central line of CPW.

파프리카 온실에서 담배가루이의 축차표본조사법 개발 (Development of Sequential Sampling Plan for Bemisia tabaci in Paprika Greenhouses)

  • 파프리카(Capsicum annuum var. angulosum)의 주요해충인 담배가루이(Bemisia tabaci)의 고정 정확도 수준에서 표본조사법(Fixedprecision sampling plan)을 개발하였다. 개발된 표본 조사법은 파프리카 온실의 담배가루이 방제체계 확립을 위해 공간분포분석, 표본추출 정시선 그리고 의사결정법으로 이루어 졌다. 자료 수집은 식물체를 상단(지상으로부터 180-220 cm), 중단(지상으로부터 80-120 cm), 하단(지상으로부터 30-70 cm)로 나누어 각 위치별 3개의 파프리카 잎에서 담배가루이 성충, 번데기를 관찰하고 그 총 수를 기록하였다. 담배가루이 성충은 식물체의 상부에서 움직이고 신초에 주로 산란하며 일정부분이 하단으로 내려오기 때문에 상단과 하단에 많이 분포하였으며, 번데기의 경우 상부에 알을 낳았지만 식물체가 크면서 알을 낳은 잎이 아랫부분이 되고 부화한 유충은 잎 뒤에 고착 상태로 우화까지 움직임이 거의 없기 때문에 중단과 하단에서 많이 분포하였다. 공간분포분석은 Taylor's power law (TPL)를 이용하였으며, TPL계수의 차이를 공분산분석(ANCOVA)하여 차이가 없는 경우 자료를 통합하여 계산된 새 TPL 상수값을 이용하여 표본추출 정시선을 구하였다. 그리고 담배가루이 성충과 번데기의 방제밀도수준을 2.0마리와 10.0마리로 설정하여 방제의사를 결정하였다. 마지막으로 분석에 사용하지 않은 독립된 자료를 이용하여 개발된 표본추출법의 유효성을 Resampling Validation for Sampling Plan (RVSP) 프로그램으로 평가한 결과 적합한 정확도를 보였다.

상하부로 교차하는 철도터널의 상호거동에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Study of Interactions Between Cross Railway Tunnels)

  • To construct a tunnel to the bottom of the existing tunnels by the behavior of the tunnel to examine the scope and effect, Schubert (1995) Influence Line and Trend Line to the proposed concept was introduced. Crossing angle of the existing tunnels and new tunnels 15, 30, 60, and 90 were set, the lower ground after 3-grade fixed above the ground was graded a 3-grade and 5-grade. Interpreted as a result of these conditions, the tunnel diameter 10m (D) If the crossing angle of around 90 degrees, 60 degrees, 30 degrees or less, each 3.0D, 3.5D, 4.0D, respectively, in the range of the effect could be estimated.
