This study presents a way of improving the stability of fixed scroll in scroll compressors. For the scroll compressor whose fixed scroll is designed to move in the axial direction for the axial compliance, the fixed scroll is under the influence of the overturning moment produced by internal gas forces. Unless the overturning moment is properly compensated by the moments of reaction forces at the suspension of the fixed scroll to the compressor frame, the fixed scroll would exhibit wobbling motion, increasing gas leakage through the gap induced by the wobbling of the fixed scroll between the two scroll members. The conditions on which the wobbling motion can be suppressed have been found analytically; The axial position of the fixed scroll suspension should be made within a certain range. The upper limit of this range is the axial location for the o-rings which are inserted between the fixed scroll and the back pressure chamber to promote sealing for the gas in the back pressure chamber. And the lower limit is mainly determined by the magnitude of the axial sealing force. As long as the axial sealing force is not negative over all crank angles, the lower limit is not above the mid-height of the scroll wrap. Larger axial sealing force lower the lower limit.

We obtain new fixed point theorems on maps defined on "locally G-convex" subsets of a generalized convex spaces. Our first theorem is a Schauder-Tychonoff type generalization of the Brouwer fixed point theorem for a G-convex space, and the second main result is a fixed point theorem for the Kakutani maps. Our results extend many known generalizations of the Brouwer theorem, and are based on the Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz theorem. From these results, we deduce new results on collectively fixed points, intersection theorems for sets with convex sections and quasi-equilibrium theorems.

Let E and F be Banach spaces with $X{\subset}E$ and $Y{\subset}F$. Suppose that X is weakly compact, convex and has the fixed point property for a nonexpansive mapping, and Y has the fixed point property for a multivalued nonexpansive mapping. Then $(X{\oplus}Y)_p$, $1{\leq}$ P < ${\infty}$ has the fixed point property for a multi valued nonexpansive mapping. Furthermore, if X has the generic fixed point property for a nonexpansive mapping, then $(X{\oplus}Y)_{\infty}$ has the fixed point property for a multi valued nonexpansive mapping.

In common fixed point problems in metric spaces several versions of weak commutativity have been considered. Mappings which are not compatible have also been discussed in common fixed point problems. Here we consider common fixed point problems of non-compatible and R-weakly commuting mappings in probabilistic semimetric spaces with the help of a control function. This work is in line with research in probabilistic fixed point theory using control functions. Further we support our results by examples.

In this paper, first, we present new fixed point theorems for Mönch type multimaps on abstract convex uniform spaces and, also, a fixed point theorem for Mönch type multimaps in Hausdorff KKM L𝚪-spaces. Second, we show that Mönch type multimaps in the better admissible class defined on an L𝚪-space have fixed point properties whenever their ranges are Klee approximable. Finally, we obtain fixed point theorems on 𝔎ℭ-maps whose ranges are 𝚽-sets.

The purpose of this article is to establish some fixed point theorems, a common fixed point theorem and a coincidence point theorem via contractive type condition in the framework of complete partial metric spaces and give some examples in support of our results. As an application to the results, we give some fixed point theorems for integral type contractive conditions. The results presented in this paper extend and generalize several results from the existing literature.

The boundary conditions $\tilde{P}_0$ and $\tilde{P}_1$ were introduced in [5] by using the Hodge decomposition on the de Rham complex. In [6] the Atiyah-Bott-Lefschetz type fixed point formulas were proved on a compact Riemannian manifold with boundary for some special type of smooth functions by using these two boundary conditions. In this paper we slightly extend the result of [6] and give two examples showing these fixed point theorems.

Fixed-mobile convergence services can be defined as the combination of previously separate fixed and mobile services, and networks and commercial practices. Examples of fixed-mobile convergence services include single voicemail box, single number and unified messaging across fixed and mobile networks. Recently as more voice is transferred to mobile networks, convergence services between fixed and mobile become more important. In Korea convergence services are only starting to become established, and are likely to become an important part of any operator's offering. In this paper, I search the different levels of fixed-mobile convergence services and the trends and regulations for fixed-mobile convergence services in major countries. And at the same time I also try to find a new direction of future regulatory principles related to fixed-mobile convergence services.

This study investigates empirically on the business analysis of fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service. As for the stage of empirical analysis, the process was carried out in the order elaboration of a test model, selection of sample, empirical analysis and interpretation of result. We report our Preliminary results on the fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service demand pattern forecasting by Bass model. The results show that the fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service may sustain profitability over the next ten years in the market. In conclusion, the practical implication of the result attained by this study is that in order to create a fixed mobile convergence in the korean business world, practical tools such as WiBro service is no less important than fixed service and Mobile service, and that users may be rightfully encouraged to adopt WiBro service.

Our aim is to introduce the notion of a parametric $N_b-metric$ and study some basic properties of parametric $N_b-metric$ spaces. We give some fixed-point results on a complete parametric $N_b-metric$ space. Some illustrative examples are given to show that our results are valid as the generalizations of some known fixed-point results. As an application of this new theory, we prove a fixed-circle theorem on a parametric $N_b-metric$ space.
