In this paper, we study the response of several anisotropic systems to buried transient line loads. The problem is mathematically formulated based on the equations of motion in the constitutive relations. The load is in form of a normal stress acting with arbitrary axis on the plane of monoclinic symmetry. Plane wave equation is coupled with vertical shear wave, longitudinal wave and horizontal shear wave. We first considered the equation of motion in reference coordinate system, where the line load is coincident with symmetry axis of the orthotrioic material. Then the equation of motion is transformed with respect to general coordiante system with azimuthal angle by using transformation tensor. The load is first described as a body force in the equations of the motion for the infinite media and then it is mathematically characterized. Subsequently the results for semi-infinite spaces is also obtained by using superposition of the infinite medium solution together with a scattered solution from the free surface. Consequently explicit solutions for the displacements are obtained by using Cargniard-DeHoop contour. Numerical results which are drawn from concrete examples of orthotropic material belonging to monoclinic symmetry are demonstrated.

The aim of this paper is to find an adequate method to study declination in Korean. In previous studies of declination in Korean, maximum and minimum pitch values in an accentual phrase were measured. But this method is inadequate when an accentual phrase is located at the intonational phrase. So in order to exclude the final tone of an intonational phrase, we propose to measure pitch values of the first and second tone in an accentual phrase when the tonal pattern of the accentual phrase is 'LHLH'. In this case, the line that connects every first tone of an accentual phrase is the baseline, and the line that connects every second tone of an accentual phrase is the topline. By a comparison of declination between focused and neutral utterances, we will show that the topline of declination is more direct to the speaker's plan than the baseline.

This paper presents an improved guidance algorithm for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV) in 3D space for generating smoother vehicle turn during the course change at the way-points. The way-point guidance by the line-of-sight (LOS) method has been modified for correcting the reference angles to achieve minimal calculation and smoother transition at the way-points. The algorithm has two phases in which the first phase brings the vehicle to converge to a distance threshold point on the line segment connecting the first two way-points and the next phase generates an angular path with smoother transition at the way-points. Then the desired angles are calculated from the reference and correction angles. The path points are regularly parameterized in the spherical coordinates and mapped to the Cartesian coordinates. The proposed algorithm is found to be simple and can be used for real time implementation. The details of the algorithm and simulation results are presented.

This paper describes extraction procedure for the center coordinates of steam generator tubes of Youngkwang NPP #6, which are arrayed in triangular patterns. Steam generator tube images taken with wide field-of-view lens and low-light lamp mounted on a ccd camera tend to have low contrast, because steam generator is sealed and poorly illuminated. The extraction procedures consists of two steps. The first step is to process the region with superior contrast in entire image of steam generator tubes and to extract the center points. Using the extracted coordinates in the first step and the geometrical array characteristics of tubes lined up in regular triangle forms, the central points of the rest region with low contrast are estimated. The straight lines from center point of a tube to neighbour points in horizontal and 60, 120$^{\circ}$ degree directions are derived. The intersections of straight line In horizontal direction and slant line in regular triangle direction are selected as the center coordinates of steam generator tubes. The Chi-square interpolation method is used to determine the line's coefficients in horizontal and regular triangle direction.

Sometimes, literature therapy is done by literature question. Participants naturally get the effect of literature therapy depending on when and what questions we ask. This study aims to lead the discussion of Gosijo's literature physiology ignited by the question. Gosijo, the subject of the study, described the depressed present state of the poetic narrator in the first and second line. By the way, poetic narrator asked a question in the first phrase of the last line and led the action potential. And in the second phrase of the last line, the poetic narrator called the code of sadness and the sadness code came. We have plotted this as Emotion Codon. The result of Emotion Codon at this time was that the narrative of Gosijo ignites the literature therapy mechanism through sadness.

The incidence of colorectal cancer (CRC) has continuously increased and CRC is a major cause of cancer-related death. Systemic chemotherapy has resulted in a significant improvement in overall survival in metastatic CRC. The development of biologic agents for the treatment of CRC has additionally expanded the options for the treatment. Cetuximab is useful in KRAS wild type tumors in combination with chemotherapy for metastatic disease in both the first and second line settings. It is also used as monotherapy after failure of both irinotecan and oxaliplatin containing regimens. Panitumumab has similar indications, and is primarily used in patients intolerant to cetuximab due to hypersensitivity reactions. Bevacizumab is primarily used as first line and second line therapy in metastatic CRC. However, the optimal way and duration to combine these chemotherapeutic agents are not yet established.

In this paper, the lessons and learns are introduced from the result of the trial project which is the first CBTC(Communication Based Train Control System) at Korail Bundang Line. This project has started end of 2002 and finished recently by Samsung SDS. The main purpose of this project was that new technology was seek for next generation of railway signal control system adapted in Korea. In 2002, there was no any revenue service system using Radio Frequency CBTC in the world at that time. Just a few trial project was on going in USA and EU. In well developed cities, the metro system have been built and old enough therefore they have to be considering re-signalling their existing system with advanced system for increasing availabilities of line usage and safety. This Bundang Line Trial Project was the first Korean CBTC project for above reasons. Most sub systems have been developed using local technology such as Electronics Controlled Interlocking System and Track Circuit Systems etc. Specially, in this project the RF-Communication devices are developed by local technology using DSSS(Direct Sequency Spread Spectrum) instead of FHSS(Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum). This project has lasted for more than five years originally planned for three years because it was only accessible only night time in the main line from Ori to Suseo about 20km long. Each night only 2 and half hours are available to use the main line. Now the trial project has been done successfully with meet the customer's requirement, therefore the upgrade the mainline of Bundang line and another extension area up to Wangsipli to make revenue service using this new technology. This paper shows this result of the trial project and the strategy of upgrade and extension project as well.

Objective: Highly effective chemotherapy for patients with low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) is associated with almost a 100% cure rate. However, 20%-30% of patients treated with chemotherapy need to change their regimens due to severe adverse events (SAEs) or drug resistance. We examined the treatment outcomes of second-line chemotherapy for patients with low-risk GTN. Methods: Between 1980 and 2015, 281 patients with low-risk GTN were treated. Of these 281 patients, 178 patients were primarily treated with 5-day intramuscular methotrexate (MTX; n=114) or 5-day drip infusion etoposide (ETP; n=64). We examined the remission rates, the drug change rates, and the outcomes of second-line chemotherapy. Results: The primary remission rates and drug resistant rates of 5-day ETP were significantly higher (p<0.001) and significantly lower (p=0.002) than those of 5-day MTX, respectively. Forty-seven patients (26.4%) required a change in their chemotherapy regimen due to the SAEs (n=16) and drug resistance (n=31), respectively. Of these 47 patients failed the first-line regimen, 39 patients (39/47, 82.9%) were re-treated with single-agent chemotherapy, and 35 patients (35/39, 89.7%) achieved remission. Four patients failed second-line, single-agent chemotherapy and eight patients (17.0%) who failed first-line regimens were treated with combined or multi-agent chemotherapy and achieved remission. Conclusions: Patients with low-risk GTN were usually treated with single-agent chemotherapy, while 20%-30% patients had to change their chemotherapy regimen due to SAEs or drug resistance. The second-line regimens of single-agent chemotherapy were effective; however, there were several patients who needed multiple agents and combined chemotherapy to achieve remission.

We have studied how liquid crystal's rubbing direction and voltage driving method affect generation of disclination line. At first, generation of disclination line in vertical alignment(VA) cell and VA-twisted nematic(TN) cell has been examined. When liquid crystal's rubbing direction of bottom substrate was 0$^{\circ}$, the degree of generated disclination line was the smallest value. Further, the generation of disclination line above the electrode is less in the frame inversion than in the line inversion. Secondly, we have examined a generation of disclination line in reflective fringe-field switching cell. When the distance between common electrodes is over 3 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ with on-state of one pixel and off-state of neighboring pixels, the reflectance appears only on-state pixel without generating reflectance in adjacent pixels.

This paper suggests a boltzman machine neural network model to determine model input sequences in line balancing process of mixed model assembly line. We first present a proper energy function, next determine the value of parameters using simulation process.
