  • This study examined the experience of health education and assessed the needs for health education in the students attending a university located in Inchon. The primary subjects were 749. who were selected from each college by using systematic random sampling. Of these students. 457 subjects responded to the self-reported questionnaire. revealing the response rate of $61.01\%$. As for the analysis of the data. percentages. chi-square test. and correlation and regression analyses were adopted. The experience rate of health education was 39.02% and the rate was higher in women than in men. The students experienced the education about smoking and first-aid most frequently. whereas they experienced stress management much less frequently. Stress management was given the highest priority among the subjects of health education which they proposed to need. Physical health states of the students were better than their mental health states. The women tended to eat meals irregularly compared to men. Those students living not with their family nor with their relatives were more likely to eat meals twice a day compared to those who live at their homes. Those who recognized the need for health education showed the willingness to join health education to be given. The willingness was, also observed in those who had better self-evaluated mental health. regardless of the recognition of the need for health education. These findings revealed both objective and subjective needs for educating management of mental health. Education on healthy eating habit should be given particularly to woman students and those who do not live with family nor with relatives. When educating for the management of mental health. there should be strategies to facilitate the participation of the students who do not have good mental health.

  • The market conditions of sea mustard is changing by overproduction, decreasing price, Import of blanched and salted sea mustard from China into Korea domestic market and increasing market share of sea mustard of China in Japan. In addition, the price support program in sea mustard aquaculture must be modified due to the restriction of domestic support by international organization such as WTO. There are two ways to solve those problems. First is that finding a way to solve the overproduction of sea mustard. One of possible ways is the production adjustment by Marketing Order. Second is that finding an alternative way to replace price support program. The possible way is Direct Payment instead of purchase stockpile system. To introduce marketing Order, outlook center, organization of self-management, production adjustment through output control measure, improvement of market structure, and education/publicity arc necessary. Also, to implement marketing order, setting a model business by government is required. There are two steps for implementation of marketing order. First step is to construct Order Committee including organization of producer, people related marketing. However, this committee must run by government for certain short-term. Second step is to improve quality of product and acceleration of demand. At visual point that enforcement of the first step is completed, government has process that government transfers Order Committees self-correcting. It is desirable that government only conduct the support acts such as quality improvement and acceleration of demand. Also, at early stage it is necessary to have aid system for marketing order For example, we can expect that income increase by production adjustment in long run. However, in short run the income of producer may decrease so, it is required to compensate his economic lose. For compensation, The useful means that can be utilized is direct payment. Direct payment is not continued policy. Also, when production adjustment policy such as Marketing Order has effective results, Direct Payment as an assistant measure must be reduced or abolished. Therefore, when production adjustment acts as an effective tool to control overproduction, Direct Payment system.

  • Freudenthal has advocated the mathematisation theory. Mathematisation is an activity which endow the reality with order, through organizing phenomena. According to mathematisation theory, the departure of children's learning of mathematics is not ready-made formal mathematics, but reality which contains mathematical germination. In the first place, children mathematise reality through informal method, secondly this resulting reality is mathematised by new tool. Through survey, it turns out that area unit of Korea's seventh elementary mathematics textbook is not correspond to mathematisation theory. In that textbook, the area formular is hastily presented without sufficient real context, and the relational understanding of area concept is overwhelmed by the practice of the area formular. In this thesis, first of all, I will reconstruct area unit of seventh elementary textbook according to Freudenthal's mathematisation theory. Next, I will perform teaching experiment which is ruled by new lesson design. Lastly, I analysed the effects of teaching experiment. Through this study, I obtained the following results and suggestions. First, the mathematisation was effective on the understanding of area concept. Secondly, in both experimental and comparative class, rich-insight children more successfully achieved than poor-insight ones in the task which asked testee comparison of area from a view of number of unit square. This result show the importance of insight in mathematics education. Thirdly, in the task which asked testee computing area of figures given on lattice, experimental class handled more diverse informal strategy than comparative class. Fourthly, both experimental and comparative class showed low achievement in the task which asked testee computing area of figures by the use of Cavalieri's principle. Fifthly, Experiment class successfully achieved in the area computing task which resulting value was fraction or decimal fraction. Presently, Korea's seventh elementary mathematics textbook is excluding the area computing task which resulting value is fraction or decimal fraction. By the aid of this research, I suggest that we might progressively consider the introduction that case. Sixthly, both experimental and comparative class easily understood the relation between area and perimeter of plane figures. This result show that area and perimeter concept are integratively lessoned.

And the visit survey on sanitary practice was also conducted over 93 restaurateurs who obtained the commercial license for food service business. The findings from the survey were as follows; In regard to food sanitation, some 87.1 to 88.3% got the right knowledge about the reason and precaution of food poisoning, food's frozen or cold-storage, and the disposal of products after expiration of validity term. But it was about 20.8% to 50.0% who knew right about major precaution, storage temperature in refrigerator, fermented milk product's storage temperature and validity term. There was therefore a necessity for education in food sanitation. 38.2% of the subjects placed an emphasis on sanitary storage of foodstuffs as the most important thing in sanitary management. 33.8% emphasized cooking sanitation. The environmental sanitation was counted as the most important thing by 19.2%, and personal sanitation of worker was counted by 8.8%. There was differences in what they thought the most important thing was, according to the respondent's educational level and cooker. 86.6% replied it necessary to improve the sanitary level. The respondents who were younger or had better educational level emphasized more the need for it. Concerning health examination, 90.2% replied it necessary. 81.4% answered the reason was because there was a potentiality Quests might be infected with contagious disease. 78.5% pointed the need for sanitary education, but respondents with higher educational level less emphasized its needs. As the reason for poor sanitation, restaurateur's poor awareness about it was most frequently pointed out, by 46.9%. Cooking sanitation was most frequently counted, by 38.5%, as the first thing to be improved. As the most critical point in sanitary education, 34.5% indicated food's sanitary Quality control 30.9% mentioned sanitary treatment of kitchen facilities and peripheral environment, and 27.1% emphasized the summary of the general food sanitation. 77.7% answered to correct immediately in case of violating the Food Hygiene Law, and 12.0% replied to correct in the same case if they would get the order from public official or administrative action would be taken. Respondents with higher educational level answered more to correct immediately. What they wanted the government office to do toward sanitary improvement was a fund aid an facilities and management which was pointed out by 38.9%, a periodical sanitary education by 26.3% and a on-the-spot guidance of sanitary officials by 22.3%. In view of the food service business's sanitary practice, the rate of wearing a sanitary clothes was 32.9% in city and 35.0% in county. The rate of hand-washing without soap or non-washing at cooking was 73.9%, 85%, respectively. The rate of personnel sanitation was 34.2% in city and 50.0% in county. These things indicated the sanitation was not well practiced. To improve the poor sanitary conditions of the food service businesses, it is recommended to offer institutional backing and financial aid from administrative office, and encourage restaurateurs to take pride in their job. and conduct the sanitary education effectively by sanitary education institution.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify factors affecting health promotion behaviors of upper grade elementary students. Methods: A descriptive study was carried out with 282 fifth or sixth elementary school students from two cities, Korea. Data were collected using self-administrative questionnaires containing items on health knowledge, attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and health promotion behavior, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Pearson Correlation Coefficients, and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: There were significant positive correlations between health promotion behavior and health knowledge (r=.36, p<.001), attitudes (r=.41, p<.001), subjective norms (r=.36, p<.001), perceived behavior control (r=.49, p<.001). Perceived behavior control (${\beta}=.38$, p<.001), health knowledge (${\beta}=.26$, p<.001), perceived health status - good (${\beta}=.15$, p=.005) were significant factors affecting health promotion behavior and explained 31%(F=43.29, p<.001) of variance. Conclusion: Results indicate that level of health promotion behavior is appropriate and perceived behavior control is the most important factor for health promotion behavior among the predictors. These findings also suggest that it is necessary to promote perceived behavior control and health knowledge in developing health promotion intervention programs for these students, as well as a need to strengthen education on sex behavior and health, accident prevention and first aid.
