  • The purpose of this study is to derive education programs for safety training class, create unit spaces and present components and methods of utilizing the spaces for the development of facilities models closely related to various policy, operation plan and facility construction projects promoted by related institutions such as the Ministry of Education, schools, architects and companies. This study is divided into five steps. First, we reviewed the literature related basic directions for safety education and facility plan, second, field survey included both field conditions such as spatial size and facility configuration and analysis of operating conditions like hours of operation and personnel. Base on literature review and field survey, it were used to analyze strengths and weaknesses of existing safety training classes, and five facility models was developed based on the Delphi method and expert participatory design. The result show that the facility models (drafts) of safety training class were developed as follows: (1)the facility model for traffic safety(pedestrian safety, vehicle safety, subway safety) (2)the facility model for first aid(emergency rescue, how to report) (3)the facility model for disaster safety(fire evacuation safety, life earthquake safety) (4)the facility model for elevator safety(elevator safety, escalator safety) (5)the facility model for drugs and violence safety (smoking drinking, sexual harassment safety, food safety) The safety training class can be composed by combining or separating each module according to affordable space size of each school.

Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 23.0 program, with frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, correlation analysis, t-test, and ANOVA. As a result, the average job stress, job satisfaction, and job performance ability of 119 paramedics were 2.85±0.29 points, 3.35±0.30 points, and 3.53±0.89, respectively. A higher job satisfaction indicated higher job performance ability. An examination of the characteristics of the variables according to the general characteristics showed that the job performance ability was related significantly to the marital status, age, and first aid experience. Based on this, to establish a positive professional intuition to increase the job performance ability of 119 paramedics, lower job stress, and increases job satisfaction, it is important to raise awareness of job satisfaction, establish a job view, and promote job satisfaction through performance improvement. Program development and education programs for children should be actively carried out.rough performance improvement. The major area of study of them were study of emergency medical services 41.5%, study of nursing 10.0%, fire fighting related studies 15.4%, health related studies 1.0%, and others 32.1%. The certificate of them were 1st class emergency medical technician(EMT) 38.1%, 2nd class EMT 33.8%, nurse 9.4%, first aid education 14.0%, and others 4.7%. Frequency of Prehospital emergency care, oxygen supply(274), splint apply(229), spinal immobilization(229), external bleeding control(223), medication(7), intravenous(4). Professionally trained EMT makes possible to secure high quality emergency medical treatment in the prehospital phase. In order to so, this study makes population and sampling by targeting cases which refer to 'safety' on 15 papers of academic journals related to home economics registered in the National Research Foundation from 2001 to 2015, 244 papers related to safety education area and 179 master doctorate thesis by searching keyword as 'safety'. Analysis contents are research trends of papers related to safety education by year and by subject and research trends of safety education by area and by research method. As a result of the study, first, the number of research papers related to safety education by year on home economics curriculum repeated increase and decrease and there have been consistent studies conducted on safety education with 14-52 papers per every year and yearly average 28.2 papers. On the other hand, the most number of studies conducted in 2015 with 52 papers which are twice as much of 26 papers in 2014. This seems to be affected by the announcement of safety comprehensive countermeasures from government and the emphasis of safety subject on 2015 curriculum revision of the Ministry of Education. Second, with regards to research trends by topic, 137 papers are related to safety education (29%), 336 papers are related to safety actual condition (71%). Accidents and recognition had a greater percentage in a paper before 2009 (74.4%) and studies are increased after 2009 (from 21 papers to 53 papers) in terms of development or evaluation of safety education program, development of education materials, development of education method etc. Subject area dealt with the most on the research of safety actual condition is regarding safety accidents or effective variables (23.2%). Subject regarding the variables are researches related to factors influencing family violence, internet addiction, spouse violence, willingness to purchase unsafe food, age harassment, or suicidal attempt etc. Next, researches related to safety recognition (13.9%), safety knowledge and attitude (7.4%), safety behaviors (6.3%), safety consciousness (2.3%) show in sequence. Subject area dealt with the most on the researches regarding safety education is development and evaluation of safety education program (11%) and this appears the most in 2015 by year (21.5%). Third, with regards to eight areas of safety education, there are 143 papers regarding public safety (33.8%), 106 papers regarding violence and personal safety (25.1%), 93 papers regarding general subject on safety or whole safety area (22%) and 58 papers regarding drug and internet addiction (13.7%) in sequence. And there is no paper related to first aid and 1 paper is related to occupational safety (0.2%). Occupational safety area is less researched nevertheless its included in home economic curriculum as relative chapter. First aid does not directly correlate with home economics curriculum but should be studied in preparation for accident which could happen in practical class. Forth, with regards to research trends by research method, quantitative research (89.1%) is mostly used and both research study (70.4%) and experimental research (18.7%) are used the most frequently. In particular, researches on the actual condition of safety education and experimental studies for effectiveness verification take most of research method. As qualitative studies, there are phenomenological study (3.1%) and case study (3.1%) related to actual conditions of safety accidents. 10 papers (2.4%) are mixture of quantitative and qualitative research and some research conducted research study and experimental research at the same time (0.9%). With regards to subject of study, human environments (87.5%) are more than physical environments (12.5) and students (48.4%) are more than teachers and school parents (20.6%). As the subject of physical environments, school (6.5%) is the most but home environment is none. As a result of the study, research for the development of evaluation tool for evaluating safety education, occupational safety and lifelong education should be conducted from this time forward. In addition, the object of study shall be expanded to both human environments in terms of entire life and physical environments for home. An in-depth qualitative research should be needed by observing and meeting with each student.

The reliability of the job stress tool was Cronbach α = .87. The job satisfaction tool was Cronbach α = .84. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 18.0 program. There were differences among the sub - variables of general characteristics, but the general characteristics excluding academic ability were less correlated with job stress, and job satisfaction was higher when the subjects' age, number of dispatches and field hours were smaller. Job stress was found to be low when stress was high on first aid, dispatch, transport, medical guidance, conflicts and emergencies excluding partners. To reduce job stress of 119 paramedics, it is recommended to provide institutional support and education to improve the ability to recruit new emergency personnel and to provide emergency medical care and guidance because of diversification of dispatch methods and appropriate stress management.

  • The purpose of this study is to present basic data to be used in the development of a sexual education program to create an affirmative sexual egoism. We classified the types of subjectivities and revelation attitudes of menstrual experience in 5th and 6th elementary school girls. The analytic method of data was a "Q-method" (William Stephenson). The results of this study classified four-types. The first type is an "open type". Girls of this type accepted menstrual experience as neither disease nor an embarrassment but as an important and natural course for a woman. The second type is the "concealing type". Girls of this type keep silent and conceal menstruation from persons because they consider it shameful or disgrace. The third type is the "conceited type". Girls of this type think that menstruation is painful-but only for them. Also, they accept such pains being 'grown-up'. The fourth type is the "tomboy type". Girls of this type want to be an eternal child; they hate being born a woman and think menstruation is troublesome. As a result of this research, we have concluded that it is necessary to educate girl students before they experience menstruation in order to develop positive attitudes towards sexuality and in so doing, aid them through adolescence.
