메탄엔진 연소시험설비 구축 및 예비 시험들 (Methane Engine Combustion Test Facility Construction and Preliminary Tests)

  • 본 논문에서는 메탄엔진 연소시험을 위한 연소시험설비 구축과 예비 시험들을 다루었다. 먼저 액체산소/기체메탄을 추진제로 사용하는 1 kN급 연소기 연소시험설비를 설계 및 구축하였다. 연소시험 전 각 추진제 라인의 수류시험 및 토치 점화기/애프터버너의 점화시험을 통해 연소시험설비의 추진제 공급 안정성, 제어 및 계측시스템 작동, 성공적인 점화를 검증하였다. 마지막으로 예비 연소시험을 수행하여 연소기 시제품의 연소 효율, 열유속, 연소 안정성을 측정하였다. 구축된 연소시험설비는 메탄엔진 연소기 기초연구 및 개발에 유용하게 활용될 예정이다.

마이크로 프로세서에 의한 영구자석동기 전동기의 구동 (Microprocessor Based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drive)

  • This paper presents the results of driving performance analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motor using a microprocessor based control system. The system consists of three phase power transistor inverters, three phase controlled rectifier, three central processing units, and sensors. The three CPUs are, respectively, used to generate PWM control signals for the inverter generating three phase sine wave, to generate the gate control signals for firing the converter, and to supervise other two CPUs. The supervisor is used to compute PI control algtorithm to three phase reference sine wave for the inverter. It is also used to maintain a constant voltage frequency ratio for the converter operating as a constant torque controller. The inverter CPU retrieves precomputed PWM patterns from look up tables because of computation speed limitations found in almost available microprocessors. The converter CPU also retrieves precomputed gate control patterns from another look-up tables. For protecting the control ststem from any damage by extraordinary over currents, the supervisor receives the data from current sensor, CT, and break down the CB to isolate the circuits from source. A resolver has a good performance characteristics of overall speed range, especially on low speed range. Therefor the speed control accuracy is impoved. The microprocessor based PM synchronous motor control system, thus, has many advantages such as constant torque characteristics, improvement of wave, limitation on extraordinary over currents, improvement of speed control accuracy, and fast response speed control using multi-CPU and look-up tables.

  • Mostly, phase control method is used to control the single phase AC power. The phase control method has some advantages such as ease to control and simple configuration. But the retardation of firing angle causes a lagging current even if load is purely resistive. So phase control causes a lagging power factor and a low efficiency at the input side in comparing with the system without switching device. A new PWM control method which can improve these defects for single phase AC power control circuit is proposed in this paper. The performances of the single phase AC power control circuit using the proposed method was investigated theoretically. Both power factor and waveform of load current can be improved better than those of the conventional methods.

  • 2006년에 발사된 다목적실용위성은 자세제어 등에 필요한 추력과 모멘트를 발생하기 위해 NASA의 1lbf급 단일추진제 표준 추력기인 MRE-1을 사용하고 있다. 단일추진제 추력기는 추진제와 촉매와의 열분해 반응에 의해 추력을 발생시키는데 이때 발생되는 분해열은 상대적으로 온도가 낮은 주변 구조물 및 전자부품으로 과도한 복사열전달을 발생시키는 열원이 된다. 따라서 추력기와 타 부품 사이에 과도한 복사 열전달을 방지하기 위해서는 복사 열차폐막이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 열차폐막의 설계/해석 및 제작 등 전반적인 개발 과정에 대해 설명하였다.

  • In general, Power SCR(Silicon Controlled Rectifier) is most widely used in Power Plant as well as Industrial field. It has been controlled and operated according to its own control method. Especially, in case of Power plant, it plays a major role in AVR(Automatic Voltage Regulator) or electro chlorination control circuits. Generally, they used in Analog control system at above field. But each SCR current value is different because of load unbalance or switching characteristic variations, it may cause power plant unit trip or system disorder according to SCR element burn out or bad operating condition. Therefore, in this paper a development of 3 phase current balance control unit is described, it gets over the past analog control system limit, uses DSP(Digital signal processor) had high speed response, controls SCR gate firing angle for 3 phase current balance.

  • A method which improves the efficiency of induction motor by controlling the input voltage by the three phase AC voltage controller is studied at the sides of theory and practice. At first, the principle of decreasing the input power and improving the efficiency by adjusting the amplitude of the input voltage according to the load rate is shown. Secondarily, the mathematical model of the three phase AC voltage controller-induction motor system is drived to translate the dynamic characteristics. The validity of the dynamic model is verified by simulation. The new driving method is also proposed, which regulates the rated speed's driving by the speed estimation from the firing angle and the magnitude reverse induced-voltage information. As a result, the digital control system is constructed. Expermintal results show desirable characteristics of proposed system.

  • MRE-1 dual thruster module(DTM) which will be installed to the present under development KOMPSAT(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite) can provide reliable and cost-effective means of propulsive control for attitude and maneuvering control system. Thruster heat shield, one of the main components of DTM, is designed to intercept the radiative heat exchange between thruster and satellite during firing. The inside diameter of the current configuration will be decreased a little compared with that of the previous one due to manufacturing method change. Therefore, the possibility of interference between thruster and heat shield due to configuration change is investigated through structural analysis and their results are described in this paper.

Computer Simulation: A Hybrid Model for Traffic Signal Optimisation

  • With the increasing number of vehicles in use in our daily life and the rise of traffic congestion problems, many methods and models have been developed for real time optimisation of traffic lights. Nevertheless, most methods which consider real time physical queue sizes of vehicles waiting for green lights overestimate the optimal cycle length for such real traffic control. This paper deals with the development of a generic hybrid model describing both physical traffic flows and control of signalised intersections. The firing times assigned to the transitions of the control part are considered dynamic and are calculated by a simplified optimisation method. This method is based on splitting green times proportionally to the predicted queue sizes through input links for each new cycle time. The proposed model can be easily translated into a control code for implementation in a real time control system.

  • 압력조절 레귤레이터는 KSR-III 추진제 탱크의 압력 조절용으로 개발하였다. KSR-III 가압 시스템은 가압 탱크, 압력조절용 레귤레이터, 추진제 탱크로 구성된 가장 기본적인 시스템이며 레귤레이터는 헬륨 탱크, 파이로밸브, 헬륨주입밸브와 더불어 가장 핵심적인 부품이다. 1차 시제품으로 기밀, 강도, 기본 성능을 만족하는 상세 설계를 완성하였고 2차 시제품으로 추진기관 종합수류시험을 수행하였다. 2차시험을 통해서 밸브의 용량(Cv)을 늘려야 할 필요성이 나타났다. 3차 시제품에 이를 개선하였으며 추진기관 종합 실추진제 시험과 연소시험을 통해 최종 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 KC-100 소형민항기의 스핀시험을 위해 장착될 스핀회복장치의 설계 및 지상활주 전개 시험에 대해 기술하였다. 스핀회복장치에 대한 상세 설계 단계에서 공력, 구조, 안정성, 조종성 등에 대한 해석적 결과를 토대로 낙하산 단위면적당 라이저 길이, 낙하산 다공성, 낙하산 펼침 시간, 및 전개방법 등의 설계 변수를 결정했다. 본 시스템의 검증을 위해 항공기에 스핀회복장치를 장착한 상태에서 기능점검 후 KC-100 고속활주 중 스핀슈트 전개를 수행했다.
