합성섬유용 인산염계 유화방염제의 제조 및 방염거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Preparation and Fire-retardant Behavior of Phosphate Type Emulsified Fire Proofing Agent for Synthetic Fibers)

  • For the purpose of producing emulsified fire proofing agent for synthetic fibers, 2,3-dibromopropylmonoamido orthophosphate[DP-AOP] and bis(2,3-dibromopropyl)monoamidoorthophosphate[$(DP)_{2}AOP$] were synthesized, and their structures were identified by instrumental analysis, respectively. Using three kinds of emulsifiers, O/W emulsified fire proofing agents, DPF and DPDPF, were obtained corresponding to DP-AOP and $(DP)_{2}-AOP$, respectively. Various synthetic textiles were fire-retardant treated by prepared DPF and DPDPF, and fire retardancy and tearing strength of the resulting products were tested. The results showed that as the concentration of fire proofing agents increased, fire retardancy increased, but the tearing strength much decreased, where the tendencies of DPDPF were deeper than those of DPF. But, since the fire retardancy appeared favorable in the range of $10{\sim}20wt%$ of DPDPF, DPDPF is proven to be a fire proofing agent useful for various synthetic textiles.

화학플랜트에서 철골구조물 내화기준의 합리적인 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Reasonable Improvement of Legal Requirement for Fire Proofing for Steel Structures in a Chemical Plant)

  • It is noted that the disaster such as fire, explosion, collapse has been rapidly increased caused by strength deterioration of steel structures at petrochemical plant during fire. In this regard, it is stressed out that the legal requirement for fire proofing for steel structures at petrochemical plant should be carefully reviewed since the current legal requirement such as Industrial Safety & Health Law, Architectural Law has a conflict and different way of approach. In addition, it is our point of view that the present law should be revised to consolidate into single law including engineering design criteria to reflect unreasonable legal requirement. It is further our point of view that the performance certificate for fire proofing like UL-1709, basis of maintenance should be appropriately and reasonably provided in line with global practice.

내화피복이 생략된 합성보의 구조설계지침 제정을 위한 고찰 (Structural Design Guide Line of Composite Beam)

  • As high rise buildings and large span spatial structures are constructed, new composite members and construction techniques are continuously developed. Wide flange steel beam can be easily constructed but the fire proofing protection is necessary and the cost is high. Nowadays environmental pollution of structures is becoming a big issue. The material of fire proofing protection is not allowed to use for structural members in several countries because it cab be a cause of environment pollution. Composite beam is a new hybrid beam system which is not needed a fire proofing protection process. Composite beam has better construction capacity than that of RC system and has more economic advantages than that of wide flange steel beam. In this paper, structural design guide lines of composite beam were provided to apply design and construction.

콘크리트내에 표면매입 보강된 FRP의 내화성능 향상을 위한 내화단열재 열저항성능 평가 (Evaluation on the Thermal Resistance Capacity of Fire Proof Materials for Improving Fire Resistance of Near-Surface-Mounted FRP in Concrete)

  • 본 연구에서는 철근콘크리트 구조의 FRP를 이용한 보강에서 낮은 내화성능을 개선하기 위한 방안을 찾기 위하여, 보강된 FRP의 외부를 내화보강하는 방법에 대한 내화실험을 실시하였다. 특히 철근콘크리트 부재의 피복에 홈을 형성하여 FRP를 매입하는 보강 즉, NSM 보강을 대상으로 하였다. 실험에서의 주요 변수는 보강방법과 사용 내화재료로서, Perlite계 재료를 표면에 분사하여 보강하는 방법, Calcium silicate계 보드로 표면에 부착하는 방법, 그리고 추가로 홈내부에 Polymer mortar 또는 Calcium silicate조각을 삽입하여 보강하는 방법으로 보강한 뒤 가열로 내부의 온도변화에 따른 열전달을 관찰하였다. 실험결과, Perlite계 내화뿜칠로 표면을 보강하는 경우보다 Calcium Silicate계 내화보드로 표면을 보강하는 방법이 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 홈 내부의 에폭시가 유리전이온도에 도달할 때의 외부 표면온도 $820^{\circ}C$까지 내화단열성능을 확보할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

친환경 층고 절감형 합성보의 시공 Process 및 시공사례 (Environmental Friendly Construction Process of Composite Beam and its Application)

  • Recently hybrid beam system is widely used because it has many structural advantages such as short construction period and low story height etc. Generally steel wide flange beam exposure type and embedded type hybrid beams are constructed. Even though exposure hybrid beam is easily constructed, the fire proofing protection process is necessary because steel wide flange beam cannot resist to fire itself. Story height reduction type hybrid beam, which is introduced hybrid beam in this paper, does not need fire proofing protection process because it is constructed as a fully embedded type hybrid beam. Developed construction process and actual construction cases of story height reduction type hybrid beam were introduced in this study.

  • This paper dealt with the synthesis and characterization of the polymeric product by the reaction of the water-soluble poly(vinyl alcohol)[PVA] nonwoven fabrics and the phosphoryl chloride ($POCl_3$), which has been applied to prepare water-proofing materials or intermediates for increasing water-proofing or fire-proofing ability of commercially available water-soluble PVA support layer. $POCl_3$ was reacted with PVA nonwoven fabrics under non-aqueous condition, and their reactivity, and chemical structure were checked and discussed. PVA was reacted with $POCl_3$ under the reaction condition of 1:1, or 1:2 mole ratios at 70, 80 and $90^{\circ}C$, and the reaction products were further hydrolyzed. The structure of the resulting products from water soluble PVA nonwoven fabrics reacted with $POCl_3$ were identified by FT-IR or X-ray fluorescence spectrophotometer, and they indicated the PVA polymer chains to have phosphorous and chlorine moieties.

화재시나리오별 침매터널 구조물의 화재저항성 평가 (Assessment of structural fire resistance of a fire-proofed immersed tunnel under tunnel fire scenarios)

  • 본 연구에서는 뿜어붙임 방식의 모르타르 내화재가 시공된 침매터널 벽체구조물을 모사한 철근콘크리트 블록시험체에 대해 $HC_{inc}$ 화재시나리오와 IS0834(4시간) 화재시나리오 하에서 침매터널 내화재의 화재저항성 평가결과를 비교하였다. $HC_{inc}$ 화재시나리오 하에서는 내화재와 시험체 계면으로부터 0, 25, 50 mm 위치에서의 최대온도가 각각 $311^{\circ}C$, $194^{\circ}C$, $142^{\circ}C$로 나타났으며, IS0834(4시간) 화재시니리오 조건에서는 0, 25, 50 mm 위치에서의 최대온도가 각각 $332^{\circ}C$, $222^{\circ}C$, $179^{\circ}C$ 측정되었다. 이상의 결과로부터 본 연구에서 적용된 두 가지 화재시나리오들은 최대온도개념에서 유사한 화재강도임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 더불어 내화재 설치여부에 따른 침매터널 구조물의 안전성을 확인하기 위한 구조안정성 해석을 수행하였다. 이때 내화재가 설치되지 않은 시험체에 대한 화재시험을 수행하여 화재에 의한 콘크리트의 단면손실과 강도저하를 확인하고 그 결과를 이용하여 구조안정성 해석을 수행하였다. 이상의 해석 결과, 본 연구에서 적용된 강력한 화재시나리오 조건에서는 침매터널 구조물의 안정성 확보를 위하여 내화재가 필수적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The fire ravage of Sungnyemun in 10th Feb 2008 gave an opportunity to overview an existing management system regarding cultural assets, which have been out of disaster and safety management. According to this consideration, we could provide enhanced plans of safety management policy with regard to cultural properties. The incident has taught us the important experiences in terms of the safety management in normal and the cultural assets; moreover, we should do our best through dispassionate reflection and consistent efforts to inherit priceless cultural assets to the next generation.
