  • This paper introduces SNUDM, an analysis program for Ratcliff's diffusion model, which has been one of the most important models in cognitive psychology over the past 35 years and which has come to occupy an important place in cognitive neuroscience in recent years. The analysis tool is designed with the basic principles of easy comprehension and simplicity in use. A diffusion process was programmed as the limit of a simple random walk in a manner resembling Ratcliff & Tuerlinckx(2002). The response time distribution of the model was constructed by simulating the time taken by a random walk until it reaches a threshold with small steps. The optimal parameter values in the model are found to be the smallest value of the chi-square values obtained by comparing the resulting distribution and the experimental data using Simplex method. For simplicity and ease of use, the input file used here is created as a file containing the quantile of the reaction time, the trials and other information. The number of participants and the number of conditions required for such work programs are given in a way that answers the question. Using this analysis tool, the experimental data of Ratcliff, Gomez, & McKoon(2004) were analyzed. We found the very similar pattern of parameter values to Ratcliff et al.(2004) found. When comparing DMAT, fast-dm and SNUDM with the generated data, we found that when the number of trials is small, SNUDM estimates the boundary parameter to a value similar to fast-dm and less than the DMAT. In addition, when the number of trials was large, it was confirmed that all three tools estimate parameters similarly.

  • Regional assessment of crop productivity using a gridded simulation approach could aid policy making and crop management. Still, little effort has been made to develop the systems that allows gridded simulations of crop growth using ORYZA 2000 model, which has been used for predicting rice yield in Korea. The objectives of this study were to develop a series of data processing modules for creating input data files, running the crop model, and aggregating output files in a region of interest using gridded data files. These modules were implemented using C++ and R to make the best use of the features provided by these programming languages. In a case study, 13000 input files in a plain text format were prepared using daily gridded weather data that had spatial resolution of 1km and 12.5 km for the period of 2001-2010. Using the text files as inputs to ORYZA2000 model, crop yield simulations were performed for each grid cell using a scenario of crop management practices. After output files were created for grid cells that represent a paddy rice field in South Korea, each output file was aggregated into an output file in the netCDF format. It was found that the spatial pattern of crop yield was relatively similar to actual distribution of yields in Korea, although there were biases of crop yield depending on regions. It seemed that those differences resulted from uncertainties incurred in input data, e.g., transplanting date, cultivar in an area, as well as weather data. Our results indicated that a set of tools developed in this study would be useful for gridded simulation of different crop models. In the further study, it would be worthwhile to take into account compatibility to a modeling interface library for integrated simulation of an agricultural ecosystem.

  • This paper utilizing model picture of finished clothes in fashion design field various material (textile fabrics) doing Draping directly can invent new design, and do not produce direction sample or poetic theme width and confirm clothes work to simulation. Also, construct database about model and material image and embodied system that can confirm Mapping result by real time. And propose clothes simulation system to dress to 3D human body model of imagination because using several cloth pieces first by process to do so that can do simulation dressing abstracted poetic theme width to 3D model here. Proposed system creates 3D model who put clothes by physical simulation that do fetters to mass-spring model after read 3D human body model file and 2D foundation pattern file. System of this treatise examines collision between triangle that compose human body model for realistic simulation and triangle that compose clothes and achieved reaction processing. Because number of triangle to compose human body is very much, this collision examination and reaction processing need much times. To solve this problem, treatise that see could create realistic picture by method to diminish collision public prosecutor and reaction processing number, and could dress clothes to imagination human body model within water plant taking advantage of Octree space sharing techniques.

  • General practitioners, internists, pediatricians, and family physicians are classified as so-called primary care physicians in the United States. We carried out this study for the purpose of answering the following question; "Who are the primary care physicians in Korea\ulcorner" We analyzed the 663, 154 claims which were drawn from the health insurance processing file made during the period of one month, April 1992 on the basis of systemic random sampling technique. The 663, 154 cases were matched with the doctor's file registered at the National Federation Medical Insurance by using the indivisual physician code number and analyzed according to the kind of specialty. If we follow the Geyman's definition of primary care physician in the United States, this study shows that they can take care of 43.2% of the total private clinic's claims in Korea. Provided that general practitioners and family physicians are considered the same way as in the United Kingdom, they could with only 8.3% of the total claims in Korea. The most frequent diseases are those which rank first to 46th in the total private clinic's claims. The proportion of the most frequent diseases was highest for pediatricians(90.4%) and followed by internists(81.4%), otolaryngologists(78.7%) and family physicians(76.5%). The proportion of the most frequent diseases in the most common 46 diseases was highest for radiologists(80.4%) and the next was as follows : general practitioners(78.3%), family physicians(67.4%), and internists(67.4%). We classified the most common 20 diseases of each specialty into 17 categories of ICD-9 and compared it with those of general practitioners. The specialists who had managed a similar disease pattern to those of general practitioners were identified as anesthesiologists, family physicians, general surgeons, and internists. Some specialists practicing at private clinics managed the diseases which were not quite appropriate for their specialties. After we evaluated each specialty by the most common diseases, the most frequent diseases, and the most frequent 20 diseases of each specialty in terms of the 17 categories of ICD-9, a tentative assumption is made that the primary physicians in the Republic of Korea are general practitioners, anesthesiologists, family physicians, internists, and general surgeons. This study has concluded that the categories of the primary care physicians are so diverse that their roles and distributions are distorted accordingly. Vigorous health policy efforts in correcting the malcomposition need to be made for the better provision of primary health care in Korea. in Korea.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sodium hypochlorite and steam autoclaving on the cyclic fatigue of nickel-titanium endodontic files. Two types of files with a .06 taper and #30 were used, $K3^{(R)}$ (SybronEndo, Glendora, California, USA) and Hero $642^{(R)}$(Micro-Mega, BesanCon, France). The files were divided into 6 experimental groups containing 10 files each group depending the soaking time in 6% sodium hypochlorite solution and number of cycles of steam autoclave. After sterilization, a cyclic fatigue test was performed on each file, and the fracture time was recorded in seconds. The control group underwent the cyclic fatigue test only. After the test, the surface characteristics of the files were observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). All groups containing the Hero 64~ files showed a similar cyclic fatigue fracture time. However, the cyclic fatigue fracture time with the $K3^{(R)}$ files was significantly shorter in groups which were treated with sodium hypochlorite than in the control group (P < 0.05), SEM revealed both Hero $642^{(R)}$ and $K3^{(R)}$ files to have significant corrosion on the file surface in groups treated with sodium hypochlorite, compared with the sharp and regular blades of the control group. $K3^{(R)}$ files showed more corrosion than the Hero $642^{(R)}$ files. Bluntness of the blades of the $K3^{(R)}$ file was observed in groups treated with steam autoclave. Although there was no obvious destruction on the surface of steam autoclaved Hero $642^{(R)}$ files, slight bluntness was observed. Sterilizing with a steam autoclave is much less destructive to $K3^{(R)}$ files than sodium hypochlorite. The longer time exposed to sodium hypochlorite, the more destructive pattern was shown on the blades of the files. Therefore, when using sodium hypochlorite solution, the exposure time should be as short as possible in order to prevent corrosion and increase the cyclic fatigue fracture time.

  • In this Paper, we present a non-doglegging channel routing system for If layout using standard cells. This system produces a final two-layer wiring pattern in the horizontal track between two rows, each of which is a linear placement of standard cells of identical heights, satisfying the given net list specification. The layout of CMOS cell library Including nine primitive cells used in this paper is represented in CIF (Caltech Intermediate Form) using λ(Lambda) of 2 microns in Mead-Conway layout representation scheme. The cell dimension and 1/0 characteristics such as name, position and layer type of the pins are stored in Component Library to be used in the channel routing progranl, CROUT. 4 subprogram, NET-PLOT, was used to report a schemdtic layout result, and another subprogram, NETCIF was used to with a full-fledged final layout representation in GIF, A test run for realizing a dynamicmaster-slave D flip-flop with set/reset using primitive cells was shown to take 4 CPU seconds on VAX 11/780.

  • In this paper, to percuss whether fish oil can substitute for marine fuel oil, the characteristics on the evaporation and ignition of 3 fish oils, Sardine oil, File fish oil and Alaska pollac oil, were investigated experimentally by suspending single fish oil droplel in hot atmosphere, and experiments on methanol and light oil were also carried out to compare the characteristics. The results abtained are summarized as follow; 1) Evaporation and ignition phenomena on the methanol and light oil by the present experimental method agreeded with the results of the earlier investigation. 2) The characteristic on evaporation and ignition of all 3 fish oils took the same pattern; in late stage of evaporation at atmospheric Temperature 55$0^{\circ}C$ droplet rapidly expanded and contracted, and then remained solid corbide, but in case of $650^{\circ}C$ rapidly expanded and ignitied, and then completly burned non-remained solid carbide. 3) As fish oil mixed with light oil (50% weight), in beginning stage of evaporation droplet depended on the characteristics of light oil, but in end stage depended on fish oil. 4) Ignition temperature of fish oil droplets was about 47$0^{\circ}C$, higher than about 25$0^{\circ}C$ of light oil, but atmospheric temperature to ignite droplet was about $650^{\circ}C$, lower than about 75$0^{\circ}C$ of light oil.

  • This study was carried out to file up structural design data for optimizing Pleurotus eryngii growing houses. Design data are including current farm status of Pleurotus eryngii growing houses in the aspect of structural configuration as well as environmental conditions to be controlled and maintained inside. A structural analysis was performed for the on-farm structures as well as some structures modified and suggested through field survey and analysis. The results are summarized as follows. According to the results of status analysis, Pleurotus eryngii growing houses were categorized as arch-roofed simple type and sandwich panel type. Though the size of Pleurotus eryngii cultivation facilities were considerably diverse, the basic dimensions of Pleurotus eryngii cultivation facilities showed relatively similar pattern: more or less of 20m of length, $6.6\~7.0m$ of width, $4.6\~5.0m$ of peak height, $1.2\~1.6m$ of bed width, and 4 layers of bed. In the aspect of spatial use of cultivation facilities, suggested models were shown to be mostly reasonable in the aspect of heating and cooling, micro-meteorological stability, land use efficiency per unit floor area, etc.. Especially, the standard models suggested so far were thought to be not efficient in its surface area and spatial volume per unit floor area as well as its uneffective structural design in the area around ceiling. In the results of structural analysis for the models suggested through this study by using those section frames to be found on farms, the panel type structures of both single span and double span were estimated to be over designed, whereas arch-roofed pipe houses were mostly found to be under-designed.

  • Flash memory has rapidly deployed as data storage. However, the flash memory has a major disadvantage that recorded data cannot be dynamically overwritten. In order to solve this "erase-before-write" problem, the log block buffer scheme used Flash memory file system. however, the current managements of the log buffer, in case random write pattern, BAST technique have problem of frequent merge operation, but FAST technique don't consider merge operation by frequently updated data. Previous methods not consider merge operation cost and frequently updated data. In this paper, we propose a new log buffer management scheme, called JBB. Our proposed method evaluates the worth of the merge of log blocks, so we conducts the merge operation between infrequently updated data and its data blocks, and postpone the merge operation between frequently updated data and its data blocks. Through the method, we prevent the unnecessary merge operations, reduce the number of the erase operation, and improve the utilization of the flash memory storage. We show the superiority of our proposed method through the performance evaluation with BAST and FAST.
