상용 차량용 반능동 현가 시스템의 제어 (Control of Semi-Active Suspensions for Commercial Vehicles)

  • In this study a control law and performance potential of semi-active suspensions for a tractor/semi-trailer have been investigated. The control law for airbag semi-active suspensions modeled in this study is developed using feedback linearization and Linear Quadratic (LQ) optimal control method. Inherent nonlinearity of the airbag suspensions has been considered in the control law development. It has been shown that the proposed semi-active control law provides better performance than that of well known sky-hook damping control strategy.

  • In this paper feedback linearization of valve-controlled nonlinear hydraulic velocity control system is studied. The $C^{\infty}$ nonlinear transformation T is obtained, and it is shown that this transformation is global one. Linear equivalence of nonlinear hydraulic velocity control system is obtained by this global nonlinear transformation, and linear state feedback control law is applied to this linear model. It is shown that this transformation method is to the linear approximation by simulation study..

Nonlinear Nutation Control of Spacecraft Using Two Momentum Wheels

  • In this work, the nutation control of rigid spacecraft with only two momentum wheels is addressed by applying the feedback linearization technique. In this strategy, the primary performance index is to regulate the nutational angle by the momentum control of wheels. The spacecraft attitude equations of motion are transformed to a general linearized form by feedback linearization technique, including a guaranteed control law promising the internal dynamics stability to accomplish the nutation angle small. It is proven that the configuration of inertia properties plays a key role in analyzing spacecraft energy level. The behavior of the momentum wheels is also studied analytically and numerically. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear control law for the momentum transfer is verified by conducting numerical simulations.

  • Reheating furnace is a facility of heating up the billet to desired high temperature in the hot charge rolling process and it consists of 3 zones. Temperature control of reheating furnace is essential for successful rolling performance and high productivity. Mostly, temperature control is carried out using PID controller However, the PID control is not effective due to the nonlinearity of the reheating furnace(i.e, presence of the interference of neighboring zones and slow response of temperature etc.). In this paper, feedback linearization method is applied to obtain a linear model of the reheating furnace. Then, controller is designed using simple predictive control method. The effectiveness of this strategy is shown through simulations.

  • This paper deals with an anti-sway control for a ship-mounted container crane which is disturbed by the wave-induced motions of the ship. We derive a simple dynamics of the ship-mounted container crane with an active anti-sway control system and transform it into a dynamic function for a horizontal variable on the absolute coordinate. Then we propose an control method to reduce pendulation of the spreader and compare its performance with well-known feedback linearization control in computer simulation.

  • A design of attitude controller for a tiltrotor is presented augmenting L1 adaptive control, neural networks, and feedback linearization. The neural networks compensate for the modeling error caused by the lack of knowledge of tiltrotor dynamics while the L1 adaptive control allows high adaptation gains in adaptation laws thereby, satisfying tracking performance requirement. The efficacy of this control methodology is illustrated in high-fidelity nonlinear simulation of a tiltrotor by flying the tiltrotor in different flight modes from where the L1 adaptive controller with neural networks is originally designed for.

  • In this paper, a linear matrix inequality(LMI)-based robust control method, which combines model predictive control(MPC) with the feedback linearization(FL), is presented for constrained nonlinear systems with parameter uncertainty. The design procedures consist of the following 3 steps: Polytopic description of nonlinear system with a parameter uncertainty via FL, Mapping of actual input constraint by FL into constraint on new input of linearized system, Optimization of the constrained MPC problem based on LMI. To verify the performance and usefulness of the control method proposed in this paper, some simulations with application to a flexible single link manipulator are performed.

  • 고체추진기관은 구조가 비교적 간단하고 장기적 저장성이 우수한 반면에 일반적으로 추력의 조절 등에 한계성을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 핀틀 밸브 등과 같은 특수한 노즐을 사용하는 가변추력 고체추진기관의 압력 및 추력 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 위해 질량보존만을 고려한 추진기관의 연소기 내 압력변화 모델에 대하여 고전적인 비례-적분 제어기와 모델의 비선형성을 피드백을 통해 제거하고 이를 선형모델로 대치하는 피드백 선형화 제어기를 설계하고, 압력제어모델의 추력계산식을 얻어내어 추력제어모델을 제시한다. 운용점에 대해 선형화하여 비례-적분 제어기를 설계하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 모델의 성능을 분석한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design a robust adaptive control algorithm for a class of systems having continuous relay nonlinearity. This continuous relay nonlinearity can be defined as an analytic nonlinear function having unknown parameters and bounded unmodeling part. By this mathematical modeling, the whole system can be considered as a nonlinear system having unknown parameters and bounded perturbation. The control algorithm of this paper, RALC, can be constructed by robust adaptive law, feedback linearization, and indirect robust adaptive control. By this RALC, we can obtain that the output of given system can follow that of a stable reference linear model made by designer and the boundedness of all signals in closed-loop system can be maintained. Therefore, we can confirm a robust adaptive control for a class of systems having continuous relay nonlinearity.

  • In this paper, we psropose the feedback linearization technique for a nonlinear system using genetic algorithms (GAs) and fuzzy logic system. The proposed control scheme approximates the nonlinear term of a nonlinear system using the fuzzy logic system and computes the control input for cancelling the nonlinear term. Then in the fuzzy logic system, the number and shape of membership function of the premise aprt will be tuned to minimize the control error boundary using GAs. And the parameters of the consequence of fuzzy rule will be tuned by the adaptive laws based on lyapunov stability theory in order to guarantee the closed loop stability of control system. The evolution of fuzzy logic system is processed during the on-line adaptive control. The effectiveness of proposed method will be demonstrated by computer simulation of simple nonlinear sytem.
