Modern electronic devices such as tablets and smartphones are getting more powerful and efficient. The demand in feature sets, functionality and usability increase exponentially and this has posed a great challenge to the design of a power distribution network (PDN). Power rails merging is a popular option used today in a PDN design as numerous power rails are no longer feasible due to form factor limitation and cost constraint. In this paper, the criteria and limitations for power rails merging are discussed. Despite having all the advantages such as pin count reduction, decoupling capacitors sharing, lower impedance and cost saving, power rails merging can however, introduce coupling noise to the system. In view of this, a PDN design with power rails merging that fulfills design recommendations and specifications such as noise target, power well placement, voltage supply values as well as power supply quadrant assignment is extremely important.

The heat dissipation of linear motor machine is affected by the maximum temperature rise of the primary part, coil and the cooling method. To minimize temperature induced dimension changes and decrements of performance, linear motor machine require effective cooling mechanism. To evaluate cooling performance of existing linear motor machine, some experiments about temperature profile are performed using thermocouple recorder. Due to the lack of information about internal structure, only some finite element modeling is prepared and analyzed.

A method of calculating wear volume is developed using the signal processing technique. The lowpass filter with Fourier transform and the “windowing” are implemented in the method. User-defining feature is also included in determining the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter and the baseline for the volume integration. Commercial software, MatLab, is used for the programming. Since the method uses the original wear data without simplifying the wear shape, it can give a further accurate result than the previously utilized methods, which often adopted the simplification. It becomes further powerful if the contacting body has a general shape rather than that gives well-formed surface traction (e.g., the Hertzian). The validation of applying the average surface roughness, Ra, to the “windowing” and the baseline for volume integration is discussed.

The magnetic flux profiles in SmBCO and YBCO coated conductors(CC) in the presence of the external field were comparatively investigated by magneto-optic image and scanning hall probe measurements. The current distributions calculated by using the inversion method from measured field profiles show that the decrease of current densities near the edges of SmBCO CC is more significant than those of YBCO CC. Through the comparison of the numerical analysis based on Kim's critical state model and the Brandt and Indenbom's solution, we found that this feature is related to their different field dependant properties of the critical current densities.

From the present study, following conclusions can be drawn: 1. lide in other species, axolotl FGF-8 is proposed to play a similar role in the early phase of limb development. However, the mechanism of its expression might be somewhat different from amniotes considering its characteristic mesenchymal expression. 2. In the regenerating axolotl limbs, Fgf-8 expression profile suggests that it is involved in wound gealing, dedifferentiation, and blastema formation. 3. Exoggenously supplied FGF-8 can accelerate blastema formation and concomitantly increase the Msx-1 expression level at the early stage of limb regeneration. Furthermore, it can partially substitute for nerve factor(s) as has been indicated by the induction of blastema formation in the denervated regenerates after FGF-8 application. 4. The unique expression feature of Fgf-8 in hte mesenechymal tissue of the regenerating axolotl limb might be casually related to its remarkable regeneration capacity of urodele.

절리, 단층, 습곡, 암맥, 파쇄대 및 암상의 경계에 의해 나타나는 지질학적 선구조는 지하의 물성이나 지질구조를 반영한다. 따라서 지구조 운동 분석을 위한 기초 자료로 이용가능하기 때문에 그동안 전문가의 육안 판독이외에 영상에서 선구조를 추출하기 위한 많은 연구가 이루어져왔다. 최근에 이용 가능한 위성영상자료가 증가하고 영상을 지구과학 응용분야에 적용하는 사례가 많아짐에 따라 영상으로부터 선구조를 빠르고 정확하게 추출해야 할 필요성이 높아졌다. 본 연구에서는 위성영상으로부터 선구조를 자동으로 추출하기 위해 구배 방향 프로파일 분석(Gradient Direction Profile Analysis. GDPA) 알고리즘과 Hough 변환 알고리즘을 이용한 프로그램을 개발하였고, 각 알고리즘에 필요한 모든 변수들을 사용자가 직접 입력할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 이 프로그램을 옥천 습곡대의 북동부에 위치한 강원도 정선지역의 Landsat TM 에 적용하여 가능성을 검토에 보았고, 오차 검증 방법을 이용하여 각 알고리즘을 정량적으로 평가하였다.

We propose optical proximity corrections (OPCs) for digital micromirror device (DMD)-based maskless lithography. A pattern writing scheme is analyzed and a theoretical model for obtaining the dose distribution profile and resulting structure is derived. By using simulation based on this model we were able to reduce the edge placement error (EPE) between the design width and the critical dimension (CD) of a fabricated photoresist, which enables improvement of the CD. Moreover, by experiments carried out with the parameter derived from the writing scheme, we minimized the corner-rounding effect by controlling light transmission to the corners of a feature by modulating a DMD.

In this paper, we discuss the automatic recognition system of vehicle types and licence plate numbers using artificial neural networks, which will be used as vehicle identifier. We confine to expose the vehicle licence number for violating bus lane and stolen cars. Therefore, the vehicle height, width and distribution profile are used as the feature parameters of vehicle type. This system is composed of two parts: one is an image preprocessor of vehicle images and the other one is a pattern classifier by neural networks. The experimental results show that our method has good results for the recognition of vehicle types and numbers.

In this paper, we design and implement PADIL(Prediction And Detection of Information Leakage) system that predicts and detect information leakage behavior of insider by analyzing network traffic and applying a variety of machine learning methods. we defined the five-level information leakage model(Reconnaissance, Scanning, Access and Escalation, Exfiltration, Obfuscation) by referring to the cyber kill-chain model. In order to perform the machine learning for detecting information leakage, PADIL system extracts various features by analyzing the network traffic and extracts the behavioral features by comparing it with the personal profile information and extracts information leakage level features. We tested various machine learning methods and as a result, the DecisionTree algorithm showed excellent performance in information leakage detection and we showed that performance can be further improved by fine feature selection.
