유비쿼터스 공간 구축을 위한 모바일 RFID 시스템의 경제성 평가에 대한 연구 : 태그 기반평가모델을 중심으로 (Tag-based Evaluation Model for Economic Feasibility Analysis of Mobile RFID System in Ubiquitous Space)

  • It is important issue how to evaluate the economic feasibility of computing factors in the real world when we build ubiquitous spaces. In this paper, we propose a simple model that can evaluate the economic feasibility of mobile RFID-based ubiquitous computing system which enables seamless communication between offline and online via embedded computing factors in the real world. To achieve this, we explore the meaning of mobile RFID system, the difference between our research and extant researches concerning the evaluation of economic feasibility in RFID system, and propose the so-called 'Tag-based Evaluation Model' (TEM) which is an evaluation model to access the economic feasibility of mobile RFID systems. We also analyze the TEM via simulation cases based on proposed model and discuss the future of TEM.

A Study on Feasibility Evaluation for Prognosis Systems based on an Empirical Model in Nuclear Power Plants

  • This paper introduces a feasibility evaluation method for prognosis systems based on an empirical model in nuclear power plants. By exploiting the dynamical signature characterized by abnormal phenomena, the prognosis technique can be applied to detect the plant abnormal states prior to an unexpected plant trip. Early $operator^{\circ}{\emptyset}s$ awareness can extend available time for operation action; therefore, unexpected plant trip and time-consuming maintenance can be reduced. For the practical application in nuclear power plant, it is important not only to enhance the advantages of prognosis systems, but also to quantify the negative impact in prognosis, e.g., uncertainty. In order to apply these prognosis systems to real nuclear power plants, it is necessary to conduct a feasibility evaluation; the evaluation consists of 4 steps (: the development of an evaluation method, the development of selection criteria for the abnormal state, acquisition and signal processing, and an evaluation experiment). In this paper, we introduce the feasibility evaluation method and propose further study points for applying prognosis systems from KHNP's experiences in testing some prognosis technologies available in the market.

A Study on The Pre-feasibility Assessment Using The AHP : Focusing on The Case of Public Project

  • Various methods have been used to solve the problem of the evaluation of the complex decision-making. In the case of public projects, used the AHP method to evaluate the pre-feasibility of the projects. In this paper, The pre-feasibility was referring to the 'General guidelines for the pre-feasibility' of the KDI and was used the AHP to evaluate for public projects of the H-city. In order to achieve this object, the structured hierarchical model and questionnaire developed based on the evaluation guidelines of the KDI. Also, the weight of evaluation factor was calculated based on the AHP method and was obtained the evaluation results for the project implementation alternative.

신기술개발을 위한 사전평가지표 개발 (Study on Assessment Indicators for the Development of Agricultural Technology Development)

  • 본 연구에서는 신기술 연구개발사업의 사전타당성 평가현황 및 개선방안에 대해 설명하였다. 농촌진흥청이 수행하고 있는 사전타당성 평가방법을 파악하고 이를 발전시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위해 국내외 여러 기관의 사전타당성 평가제도와 평가지표를 조사 분석하여 새롭게 사전타당성 평가지표를 구성하였다. 이렇게 하여 도출된 평가지표에는 기술성, 시장성, 사업성과 관련된 지표들이 새롭게 산출되었다. 이를 기본내용으로 설문지를 개발하고 응답내용을 통계처리하여 지표간의 비중을 설정하였다. 결과는 사업성이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 세부적으로 예산적절성, 신규성, 기술수요가능성, 상용화가능성의 타당성이 높게 나타났다. 이를 참고하여 사전평가지표의 운영프로세스에 대해 간략하게 제안하였다.

AHP를 이용한 농업생산기반정비사업 타당성평가 개선방안 (Revision of Feasibility Evaluation Guideline for Agricultural Infrastructure Improvement Project Using AHP Approach)

  • This study revises current feasibility evaluation guideline for agricultural infrastructure improvement project considering recent changes in social and economic environment in rural area. We use an AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) approach to consider qualitative evaluation items in policy enforcement and balanced regional development as well as quantitative items in current economic analysis in the process of feasibility evaluation and decision making. The criteria system is composed of three level hierarchy. In the first level which consists of economic analysis, policy analysis, and regional development analysis, economic analysis was ranked top with relative weight of 0.45 and regional development analysis the lowest with 0.22. In the second level which consists of three evaluation items under policy analysis, consistency in policy enforcement, risk factors, and special evaluation factors, consistency in policy enforcement was ranked top. Finally, 13 detailed evaluation items in the third level were surveyed and ranked by using a comprehensive criticality vector. The result shows that the three most important evaluation items are 'degree of underdevelopment', 'spill-over effect of regional economy' and 'consistency with related planning and policy direction'.

노후 학교건물의 개축 타당성 평가를 위한 경제성 분석 모델 개발 (Development of Economic Analysis Model for Rebuilding Feasibility Evaluation of Old School Building)

  • Although there are many old school buildings that is more than 40 years in Korea, it is difficult to rebuild all of them due to limitations in budget management. Therefore, objective feasibility evaluation criteria are necessary to determine which school buildings should be rebuilt preferentially among the numerous old school buildings. One of the rebuilding feasibility evaluation items, economic evaluation generally requires documents such as construction statements and facility drawings. However, because most buildings older than 40 years do not have these documents, an economic analysis model that requires only basic building information should be developed. In this study, the economic analysis model that can be used for evaluating the rebuilding feasibility only with the number of years, total floor area, and structural information of school buildings was established. This model can contribute to the objective feasibility evaluation of old school buildings because it can evaluate numerous buildings on the same criteria based on basic building information.

  • This study suggests how to evaluate the business model feasibility of Geographic Information Service(GIS) before they are commercialized in Ubiquitous Environments. It suggests the evaluation framework for business feasibility in order to provide a successful method. The framework is consisted of various evaluation dimensions and Indices like technology, marketability, business ability, customer satisfaction and business risk. From this research, we will anticipate a high rate of successful GIS business in respect to various elements related in the commercialization of the former business in ubiquitous environments.

헤도닉 모델을 활용한 공동주택 리모델링 사업성 평가방법 (A Feasibility Study Method for Apartment Remodeling by Hedonic Model)

  • This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of remodeling business by predicting the future price of apartment house after remodeling using Hedonic Price Model. The data concerning such 8 independent variables as location, unit size, unit plan, landscape, parking, the number of elapsed years after completion, number of units, brand per apartment unit from 25 regions in Seoul metropolitan city were collected and evaluated by established evaluation criteria. The coefficients affecting the price of apartment unit were made by way of linear multi-regression and put into Hedonic Price Model. The feasibility evaluation model for apartment was made and verified by data of remodelled apartment. The predicted results using suggested evaluation model coincide with actual apartment market situations.

Feasibility Evaluation of High-Tech New Product Development Projects Using Support Vector Machines

  • New product development (NPD) is defined as the transformation of a market opportunity and a set of assumptions about product technology into a product available for sale. Managers charged with project selection decisions in the NPD process, such as go/no-go choices and specific resource allocation decisions, are faced with a complicated problem. Therefore, the ability to develop new successful products has identifies as a major determinant in sustaining a firm's competitive advantage. The purpose of this study is to develop a new evaluation model for NPD project selection in the high -tech industry using support vector machines (SYM). The evaluation model is developed through two phases. In the first phase, binary (go/no-go) classification prediction model, i.e. SVM for high-tech NPD project selection is developed. In the second phase. using the predicted output value of SVM, feasibility grade is calculated for the final NPD project decision making. In this study, the feasibility grades are also divided as three level grades. We assume that the frequency of NPD project cases is symmetrically determined according to the feasibility grades and misclassification errors are partially minimized by the multiple grades. However, the horizon of grade level can be changed by firms' NPD strategy. Our proposed feasibility grade method is more reasonable in NPD decision problems by considering particularly risk factor of NPD in viewpoints of future NPD success probability. In our empirical study using Korean NPD cases, the SVM significantly outperformed ANN and logistic regression as benchmark models in hit ratio. And the feasibility grades generated from the predicted output value of SVM showed that they can offer a useful guideline for NPD project selection.

농어촌지역 BcN 기반구축 사업타당성 분석 (An Analysis of BcN Feasibility of Area of Agricultural and Fishing Village)

  • 본 논문은 정부의 광대역통합망(BcN) 구축의 일환으로서 농어촌지역의 BcN 기반구축 사업의 타당성 분석을 목적으로 한다. 사업타당성 분석을 위하여 새로운 평가지표를 도출하고 전문가설문을 활용한 AHP 기법을 사용하여 사업타당성을 평가하였다. 그리고, 관련 선행연구를 살펴봄으로써 적합한 평가지표를 도출하고 계층화 분석법(AHP)을 사용하여 BcN 사업타당성을 평가하도록 한다. 그 결과 주요 타당성 지표로서 경제적 타당성, 기술적 타당성, 정책적 타당성 등이 BcN 사업타당성 지표로 도출되었으며, 평가기준으로 이해되었다. 연구결과 사업시행은 타당한 것으로 나타났으며, 분석의 신뢰도를 나타내는 비일관성지수는 0.0566으로 낮게 나타났다. 그리고, 향후 BcN 구축사업이 국민의 생활개선 향상에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 BcN 사업을 합리적으로 추진하기 위한 기초자료로서 가치가 있을 것이다.
