EPB 시스템의 센서 고장 허용 제어 기법 (Fault Tolerant Control of Sensor Fault of EPB System)

  • In this paper, a fault tolerant control against sensor faults of electric parking brake (EPB) is proposed. Fault tolerant control method of EPB system is strongly demanded since sensor faults can endanger a driver's safety. In this paper, a clamp force estimation method is presented using motor's armature current and angular velocity. Clamp force estimation method is applied for fault detection method with parity equations. The goal of the detection method is to detect and identify faults in encoder, current sensor, force sensor, and parking cable. And a switching logic for fault tolerant control against the three sensor faults is suggested. Experimental results show that the proposed force estimation method satisfies the specifications of EPB system. The effectiveness of the fault detection method is validated with experimental results. Although a single sensor fault happens, EPB system with the proposed fault detection method does not develop into a failure on subsystem or system level.

  • 입실 단층 파쇄대에는 다양한 종류의 단층점토가 산출된다. 이들 단층점토에 대한 X-선회절분석, 고해상도분말회절분석, 전자현미경 관찰 등을 통하여 단층점토의 광물조성에 대한 연구를 하였다. 입실 단층 파쇄대에서 나타나는 단층점토는 색깔에 따라 광물 조성의 차이가 나타난다. 입실단층에서 나타나는 단층점토의 특징적인 광물은 로몬타이트이며, 주변암석에서 이 광물이 나타나지 않는 것으로 보아 풍화 변질 산물인 것으로 추정된다. 입실 단층의 단층점토의 주 구성광물은 스멕타이트이다.

Fault-Tolerant Steer-By-Wire 제어 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Fault-Tolerant Steer-By-Wire Control System)

  • The Steer-By-Wire(SBW) system replaces complex mechanical linkages of the current steering system with electric motors, sensors, and electronic control units. However, the SBW system should guarantee its safety and reliability before commercialization, and therefore, a reliable and robust fault-tolerant technology has to be implemented. This paper proposes a fault-tolerant control algorithm for the SBW system. Based on careful analysis on propagation effects of sensor faults, a reliable fault-tolerant control strategy has been developed. The fault-tolerant controller consists of a fault detection part that monitors and detects faults in the steering wheel and road wheel sensors, and a reconfiguration part that switches to normal sensor signal based on fault detection information. It has been demonstrated by simulation that the proposed algorithm detects sensor faults accurately and enables reliable steering control under various dynamic fault situations.

고속철도 유리애자 파손원인을 위한 현장 진동 연구 (A Study on Field Vibration for Fault Cause Analysis of Glass Insulator on High-speed Railway)

  • This study was investigated a possibility of fault of glass insulator due to vibration on high-speed railway. The proper vibration of 1-glass insulator have many frequency band and high amplitude showed in high frequency than low frequency. The proper vibration of strut tube insulator was lowest 170Hz, highest 1.5kHz. The field signal amplitude of viaduct and open route were biggest moment pantograph of high-speed rail. The surface vibration(V3) amplitude of strut tube insulator was biggest. From the FFT analysis of viaduct and open route, the strut tube insulator effect by vertical vibration was big, the frequency was 82.5Hz and 105Hz, respectively. However, in comparison with the proper vibration of strut tube insulator, the resonance was not observed. Although the amplitude of insulator is high, the possibility of fault is low because the glass insulator deterioration by the accumulation of vibration do not happen.

근거리지진에서 장주기사장교의 신뢰성평가 (Reliability Assessment of Long-Period Cable-Stayed Bridges on Near Fault Earthquake(NFE))

  • The seismic safety of long-period cable-stayed bridges is assessed by probabilistic finite element analysis and reliability analysis under NFE. The structural response of critical members of cable-stayed bridges is evaluated using the developed probabilistic analysis algorithm. In this study, the real earthquake recording(Chi-Chi Earthquake; 1997) was selected as the input NFE earthquake for investigating response characteristics. The probabilistic response and reliability index shows the different aspect comparing the result from FFE earthquake. Therefore, the probabilistic seismic safety assessment on NFE earthquakes should be performed for the exact evaluation of long-period cable-stayed bridges and the earthquake resistant design criteria should be complemented.

  • Many waveform characteristics of arc signal support the detection of hazardous arc faults. The shoulder is one of main characteristics of arc signal. This paper provide a method for the detection of shoulder from series arc fault based on discrete wavelet transform. The simulation results show that the proposed method is reliable and simple.

  • 실시간 운영체제(Real-Time Operating System)는 그 실행환경상 시스템이 예상치 못한 특정 이벤트가 발생하는 악 조건속에서도 태스크 수행의 데드라인을 초과하지 않도록 시간적인 측면의 determinism을 보장하는 안정된 스케줄링 기능을 갖춘 운영체제이다. 또한, 예상치 못한 fault 를 미연에 방지할 수 있는 장치를 가지고 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 예상치 못한 fault 를 미연에 방지하기 위하여 필요한 운영체제를 설계 및 구현하는데 그 목적이 있다.
