  • Recently, the kind and number of malicious code, which operates in Operation System of smart devices, are rapidly increasing along with the fast supplement of smart devices. Especially, smart devices based on Android OS have high potential of danger to expose to malicious code as it has an easy access to system authority. When using intent, the global message system provided from Android, inter approach between applications is available, and possible to access to created data by the device. Intent provides convenience to application development in the aspect of reusability of component however, it could be appointed as a risk element in security-wise. Therefore, if intent is used in malicious purpose, it is easy to lead the condition where is weak on security. That is, it is possible to control as accessing to resources which application is carrying to operate by receiving intents as making smart device uncontrollable or consuming system resources. Especially, in case of system authority is achieved, the risks such as smart device control or personal information exposure become bigger when misusing broadcast intent through malicious code. This paper proposes a corresponding method of security vulnerability of Android intent that monitors the appearance of intent with intent pattern inspection, detects and blocks unidentified pattern intent.

  • According as mobile computing environment is generalized by development of wireless networking technology and communication device, mobile host uses local cache for extensibility and early response time. and reduction of limited bandwidth. This time, between mobile host and mobile support station cache need consistency interested person of done data accordingly much techniqueses propose. Existent consistency techniques because detection based techniqueses are used mainly and broadcast periodic invalid message considering frequent disconnection. However, these techniqueses increase abort step through increase or delay of transmission message number by accuracy examination of data. Therefore, because mobile host deletes cached data, and extensity are decreased. Techniques that is proposed in this paper did to perform refering update frequency about object that page request or when complete update operation happens to solve these problem. Therefore, have advantage that response is fast because could run write intention declaration or update by update frequency electively asynchronously when update operation consists and abort step decreases. Also, improved extensity running delete or propagation electively according to update frequency about periodic invalid message gone since disconnection.

  • With the rapid industrialization and economical development, the electricity demands of the industrial facilities and densely populated large cities are continuing to increase in Korea. The increase in the power consumption requires the extension of power facilities, but it is difficult to secure spaces for equipment installation in the limited space of urban areas. In addition, the 154 kV or 345 kV transmission systems in Korea has a short transmission distance, and are connected to one another in network structures that ensure the high reliability and stability of power supply. This structure reduces the impedance during the fault in power system, and increases the magnitude of in the short circuit fault current. The superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) was devised to effectively address these existing problems. The SFCL is a new-concept eco-friendly protective device that ensures fast operation and recovery time for the fault current and does not need additional fault detection devices. Therefore, many studies are being conducted around the world. In this paper, based on the wiring method the initial fault current characteristics, current limiting characteristics, according to the incident angle and the change in inductance current limiting characteristics were analyzed in a multifaceted methods.

Development of the analytical method for pesticide residues in crops by using gas chromatograph / solvent free solid injector (GC / SFSI) (무용매 고체 시료 주입기(SFSI)를 이용한 작물 중 잔류농약의 기체크로마토그래피 분석법 개발)

  • This experiment was carried out to develop the fast and simple method for pesticide residue analysis by using solvent free solid injector (SFSI) and to validate the efficiency of the method developed for the residue analysis of the endocrine disruptor-like pesticides such as endosulfan, metribuzin, trifluralin and vinclozolin. The samples after freeze drying were sealed in glass capillary tubes and then introduced into the heated injector of gas chromatogaphy. The required pre-heating times were 1 min for endosulfan and trifluralin, 5 min for vinclozolin, and 10 min for metribuzin. The detection limits of endosulfan in chinese cabbages, metribuzin in lettuces, trifluralin in spinachs and vinclozolin in hot peppers were 0.05, 0.1, 0.05 and 0.05 ng, respectively and their recoveries were ranged from 74%, $98{\sim}107%$, $86{\sim}95%$ and $94{\sim}95%$, respectively. The detected level of metribuzine residue in field lettuce samples by using the SFSI was 0.6 ng/mg.

Diagnosis of fibroadenoma using radiolabeled bladder cancer specific peptide

  • Most tumors are believed to overexpress several receptors, and small peptides targeting these receptors were developed for diagnosis and tumor therapy during past decade. Here we report that fibroadenoma can be visualized by bladder cancer specific peptide. A 9-mer bladder cancer specific peptide, which was discovered from the phage display method, was synthesized by peptide synthesizer, and additional tyrosine was conjugated at the N-terminal for radioiodination (Y-BP). Y-BP was radiolabeled with $^{131/124}I$ using Iodogen tube. The rat treated with N-butyl-N-(4-hydroxybutyl)nitrosamine for 8 weeks was allowed to grow until large size tumor was developed under axilla. The tumor model was microPET imaged sequentially using [$^{18}F$]FDG and radioiodinated $^{124}I-Y-BP$. The tumor was excised and examined by immunostaining studies. Radioiodinated $^{124}I-Y-BP$ was purified using fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC) in > 90% radiochemical purity. The whole tumor was well visualized by [$^{18}F$]FDG with several intense focal uptake within tumor. The tumor was also clearly seen with $^{124}I-Y-BP$ at 4 h post-injection, and to our surprise the tumor uptake of $^{124}I-Y-BP$ lasted up to three days. The tumor was diagnosed histologically as a fibroadenoma derived from mammary gland. In conclusion, the bladder cancer specific peptide showed the good potential as a new radiotracer for the detection of breast fibroadenoma.

Applicability of the Multi-Channel Surface-soil CO2-concentration Monitoring (SCM) System as a Surface Soil CO2 Monitoring Tool (다채널 지표토양 CO2 농도 모니터링(SCM) 시스템 개발 및 적용성 평가 연구)

  • Monitoring of $CO_2$ release through the ground surface is essential to confirm the safety of carbon storage projects. We conducted a feasibility study of the multi-channel surface-soil $CO_2$-concentration monitoring (SCM) system as a soil $CO_2$ monitoring tool with a small scale injection test. The background concentrations showed the distinct diurnal variation. The negative relation of $CO_2$ with temperature and the low $CO_2$ concentrations during the day imply that surface-soil $CO_2$ depends on photosynthesis and respiration. After 4.2 kg of $CO_2$ injection (1 m depth for 29 minutes), surface-soil $CO_2$ concentrations increased in the all five chambers, which were located less than 2.8 m of distance from each other. The $CO_2$ concentrations seem to be recovered to the background around 4 hours after the injection ended. To determine the leakage, the data from Chamber 2 and 5 with low increase rates were used for statistical analyses. Coefficient of variation for 30 minutes ($CV_{30min}$.) is efficient to determine a leakage signal, with reflecting the fast change in $CO_2$ concentrations. Consequently, SCM and $CV_{30min}$ could be applied for an efficient monitoring tool to detect $CO_2$ release through the ground surface. Also, this study provides ideas for establishing action steps after leakage detection.

  • Digital Elevation Models (DEM) is widely used in establishing the topographic profile in nation spatial information. Aerial Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) system is one of the well-known means to produce DEM. The system has fast data acquisition procedures and less weather-dependent restrictions compared to photogrammetric approaches. In this regards, LiDAR has been widely utilized and accepted in the process of nation spatial information generation due to its sufficient positional accuracy. However, the investigation of the accuracy of aerial LiDAR data over the area of forestation with various kinds of vegetations has been barely implemented in Korea. Hence, this research focuses on the investigation of the accuracy of aerial LiDAR data over the area of forestation and the evaluation of the acquired accuracy according to the characteristics of the vegetations. The study areas include land with shrubs and its adjacent forest area with mixed tree species. The spots for the investigation have been selected to be well-distributed over the whole study areas and their coordinates are surveyed by Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Then, the surveyed information and aerial LiDAR data have been compared with each other and the result accuracy has been evaluated. Conclusively, it is recommended that LiDAR data collection to be conducted after defoliation period, especially over the areas with broadleaf trees due to the possibility of significant outliers.

Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Agricultural Waterways in Gyeonggi and Gangwon Provinces, Korea (경기 및 강원지역 농업용수 중 PAHs의 모니터링 연구)

  • Level and distribution of fourteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the agricultural water samples collected in the waterways located in Gyeonggi and Gangwon, Korea were determined for monitoring and risk assessment. A simplified, fast but effective extraction and clean-up methods combined with gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) was employed to measure the concentration of the target compounds. The extraction of the analytes of interest in water sample (10 mL) was performed with acetonitrile (10 mL) and the salt. To purify the target PAHs, the clean-up procedure was employed with 2 mL tubes of dispersive solid phase extraction. The optimized method was validated with recoveries, method detection limit (MDL), accuracy and precision. Good recoveries for each PAHs at 10 and $25{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ were achieved (60 to 110%, with RSD <20%) with linearity (>0.99). MDL for all the analytes was achieved with $0.2{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$. GC-MS/MS results showed that concentration of phenanthrene in the water samples from Gyeonggi (20 sites) ranged from 0.82 to $2.56{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$ and from Gangwon (15 sites) ranged from 0.83 to $1.62{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$. Other PAHs were not found in the water samples but the continuous monitoring for these areas were required.

  • Recently, design and construction of street tunnels tend to focus on cost reduction and preservation of nature. Accordingly, research is actively being carried out to quickly detect fires when they occur in tunnels, which have partially closed structures. Among such research, fire detection methods using optical fiber sensors have a wide bandwidth and fast transmission speed, while using light as a medium. Therefore, it does not receive electrical interference and there is almost no loss of information during transmission, while also having little noise as well. In relation to this, a fire monitoring system that can accurately detect the location of fires in real time using shape memory alloy and optical cables was developed in this study. In order to verify the developed method, light loss measurement test was conducted according to indoor temperature changes, while also conducting fire simulation tests by installing test beds in common underground zones with different external environments of temperature and distance. Upon carrying out experiments, the fire monitoring system developed in this study was found to be able to detect fires in long distance sections in real time.

Determination of Neonicotinoid Pesticides in Commercial Agricultural Products by LC-MS/MS (LC-MS/MS를 이용한 농산물중 Neonicotinoid 계 농약분석)

  • A method using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed for neonicotinoid pesticide analysis in agricultural products. Four compounds (imidacloprid, clothianidin, acetamiprid, thiacloprid) were extracted with acetonitrile from agricultural products and cleaned up by NH2 solid-phase extraction procedure, and eluted with 0.1% formic acid in methanol/dichloromethane (5/95, v/v). The limit of detection and quantification were 0.0001-0.0005 mg/kg and 0.001 mg/kg, respectively. The mean recoveries of neonicotinoid pesticide from agricultural products were in the range of 90.7-100.9% and 94.4-99.8%, as spiked at 0.2 mg/kg and 0.02 mg/kg, respectively. This validation satisfied the national criteria for pesticide analytical methods. In summary, The present method is fast, precise and sensitive enough for the Positive List System (PLS), and we conclude that the method is also suitable for neonicotinoid pesticide determination in a wide range of agricultural products.
