Relaxation technique is an independent nursing intervention used in various stressful situations. The concept of relaxation must be explored for the meaning given by the people in their traditional thought and philosophy. Korean relaxation technique, wanting to become culturally acceptable and effective, is learning to recognize and develop Korean concepts, experiences, and musics of relaxation. This study was aimed at discovering Korean concepts, experiences and musics of relaxation and contributing the development of the relaxation technique for Korean people. The subjects were 59 mursing students, 39 hospitalized patients, 61 housewives, 21 rural residents and 16 researchers. Data were collected from September 4th to October 24th, 1991 by interviews or questionaires. The data analysis was done by qualitative research method, and validity assured by conformation of the concept and category by 2nursing scientists who had written a Master's thesis on the relaxation technique. The results of the study were summerized as follows; 1. The meaning of the relaxation concept; From 298 statements, 107 concepts were extracted and then 5 categories "Physical domain", "Psychological domain", "Complex domain", "Situation", and "environment" were organized. 'Don't have discomforts, 'don't have muscle tension', 'don't have energy(him in Korean)', 'don't have activities' subcategories were included in "Physical domain". 'Don't have anxiey', 'feel good', 'emotional stability', 'don't have wordly thoughts', 'feel one's brain muddled', 'loss of desire' subcategories were included in "physical domain" 'Comfort body and mind', 'don't have tension of body and mind', 'be sagged' 'liveliness of thoughts' subcategories were included in "Complex domain". 'Rest', 'sleep', 'others' subcategories were included in "Situation domain". And 'quite environment' & 'comfortable environment' subcategories were included in "Environmental domain". 2. The experiences of the relaxation; From 151 statements, 59 experiences were extracted. And then 9 categories-at rest after physical activities, after problem solving, fancy, bathing in the bed, situation, rest, particular time, others-were organized. 3. The musics of the relaxation; From 229 statements, 108 musics were extracted. and the 9 categories- Western classical music, semi classical music, Korean song, Korean popular classical music, song, western popular sonhg, hymn, characteristics of music, others - were organized. In conclusion, There are some differences between Korean concepts, experiences and musics of relasation and western concepts, experiences and musics of relaxation.

The purpose of this study is to explore plan for increasing the analysis and understanding skills of literary works by using systemic thinking technique. This study used a literatures analysis method. The concrete study contents are as follows; First, it is centered on presenting values of literary education through analysing fairy tales conditions in Korean textbooks in relation to national curriculum for elementary and middle school. Second, it is to explore the features of systemic thinking technique. Third, it is to draw the instruction design model and application. Main expected effects of this study are breakaway from habitual routine, developing comprehensive and logical thinking ability, expanding fancy and imagination, cultivating innovative problem solving skill, inducing interest in literature, and increasing linguistic skills. That is, it is to be effective instruction strategy to enhance creativity and to cultivate character in classroom.

Western wedding ceremony is generalized and it has been focused on bride's wedding dress and jewelry design as coming in western culture in Korea. Especially, metal design has developed a lot as enlarging the scale of jewelry market but study of gem cutting design is insufficient really. To meet demands of consumers of the 21th century we try fancy not standardizing style gems by using new faceting technique to maximize brilliance as wedding jewelry. In this thesis, we use popular and moderate priced synthetic cubic zirconia(CZ) which is able to alternate expensive diamond and natural gems to make easy approach of consumer as main gem material of wedding jewelry. And we develop various gem cutting design that is used synthetic cubic zirconia(CZ). We will contribute to development of new wedding jewelry design proposing various gems cutting style fitted for gem setting technique of wedding jewelry.

The article is alms to investigate the characteristics, the originality, and the interest of fashion design of costume play, which is recently specifically popularized among young fashion mania. The influence of commercialization power of the Disneyland and the animation characters of Japanese caricatures makes the costume play to be one of the main new generation culture. Since the costume play just begins at this moment, the full understanding of the costume play is hard because of the small amount of the materials and happenings of the phenomena. However it reveals the design trends and creativity of the new generation. As the investigation of costume play fashion and the types of costume play, the following results are obtained. 1. The originality of the costume play is thought to be induced from the mask which is used against the ghost in primitive ages, the fancy parade of halloween festival, commercial advertisements of Disneyland, the Japanese caricatures, and the animation games. 2. The distinctive characteristics of Korean costume play shows the massive behaviour, which is different from the individualized costume play in Japan. This facts show the parts of the interest culture of the persons who has the equal interest. The costume play is applied as the sound showing culture, in which the young generation express and enjoy themselves by"kki" - the passion of young energy. 3. The boom of costume play introduce the increased number of costume play shop, pro model, and designer. It also introduce the interest of the new fashion design for the young generations. Thus it is expected the new fashion infra structure in near future.ar future.

Analytical models for breakdown voltage and specific on-resistance of 4H-silicon carbide Schottky diodes have been derived successfully by extracting an effective ionization coefficient $\gamma$ from ionization coefficients $\alpha$ and $\beta$ for electron and hole in 4H-SiC. The breakdown voltages extracted from our analytical model are compared with experimental results. The specific on-resistance as a function of doping concentration is also compared with the ones reported previously. Good fits with the experimental results are found for the breakdown voltage within 10% in error for the doping concentration in the range of about $10^{15}{\sim}10^{18}\;cm^{-3}$. The analytical results show good agreement with the experimental data for the specific on-resistance in the range of $3{\times}10^{15}{\sim}2{\times}10^{16}\;cm^{-3}$.

We desperately recognize from the economic situation in IMF crisis that only competive goods and serviced. It is anticipated that this difficult situation will probably be continued till 1999. Therefore, it is necessary to think over real aspects of eating=outdoors in IMF period and to provide an opportunity to confront with this crisis. Analysis a recent tendency of domestic eating-outdoors business, there appears, first of all, dual types of eating-outdoors; the one is a sort of 'Cost Sale', which provides some special menu with lowest prices, and the other is a type of 'Family Restaurant', which regards the atmosphere of the place as one of the most essential elements. Both types are getting more popular today. As the result, neither of the alternative cannot recover the current Depression. It is natural that no other conditions can compete with good tastes, fancy atmosphere, and good prices. As a matter of fact, however, it is quite difficult to run this type of bussiness adjusted the above whole conditions. Therefore owners of eating-house must decide to run either ' Cost Sale' or 'Family Restaurant' first and investigate some problems and conditions accordingly. In ane way, the owner intensively visits to some eating houses which is similar style in size and management to that of his style in size and management to that of his and look over what is good and what is bad Right after this investigation, it is efficient for he or she to improve his or her business style in size and management in a short period. It is helpful to check some complements; improvement of signboards, cleaning up of the interior, selecting suitable menu, adjusted prices, tastes, and service quality etc. Although eating-outdoors business is hard hit by IMF, We hope that it would rapidly be brisk in 2000, becaused by that time the basis of each industry would be high qualified, and rich technology would be accumulated.

This study as one of a series of systematic studies about dancing costumes will compare the costumes of the middle age with their normal style of dress. In brief, this study wants people to know about middle a9e dancing costumes and understand the culture in the middle ages. It was found that people's everyday clothes in the middle age such as Surcot. Surcot-ouvert, Pourpoint, Houppelande were used as dancing costumes. They were, however. changed from the public's clothes which were tight and long. Rather than wearing costume over others. dancers wore costumes which had slits on skirt or sleeves to increase motion. With the Wild Man of the Wood's which only nobles used for their dancing costumes. costumers highlighted the beauty of human body There were various costume materials used in the middle ages like silk. cotton fabrics, linen or brocade. These materials were used for Surcot and Pourpoint as dancing costumes. The naturalness of nature or geometric patterns also was expressed on the costumes. Further about those patterns, because the development of stained glass, vivid colors were used especially red, light green, blue etc. As for the hair styles used, dancers let their hair down and put a jeweled crown over their hair. In summation. dancers wore the same clothes that normal People did, but the costumes were different depending on social status and gender. The costumes of ordinary people's were based upon ordinary clothes that moved and emphasized the dynamic motion. On the other side, the court dancers' costumes were very fancy. symbolizing a measurement of nobles' from wealth and authority. as well as an expression of a sense of beauty, The main features of middle ages follows. : To emphasize vitality, there were long slits on the side of skirt. Hair decorations and jewels are more used than in the ancient age's. To hide a dancer's social status. they could use a mask. Wild Man of the Wood's was used for the body makeup. All these features of the dancing costumes must contribute to the progress of the dance in the middle age's.

As performing arts including operas are getting popular these days, the importance of stage costumes is strengthened. Stage costume is one of the artistic requisites for opera performance, it plays an important role in describing the play's situation, the director's style and the person's character. Nevertheless the study regarding the opera's costumes is not active, especially the comparative study on the same opera's costumes performed by different opera companies have hardly been made. Therefore this study compared 5 Manon Lescaut opera performances: the Metropolitan Opera(1980), the Flemish Opera(1991), the Metropolitan Opera(2008), the Seoul Metropolitan Opera(2010) and the Vienna State Opera(2010) and made clear the difference between the four. From this study, we can get the following conclusions. First, the Metropolitan Opera's costumes in 1980 act and in 2008 act ascertained Rococo dressing. Because the costume designer for both acts was the same person, the general costume styles of the two acts are similar. Second, as for the Flemish Opera and Seoul Metropolitan Opera, there was a significant drop in fancy details and trimmings in the costumes. But the costumes made strong impressions dues to its color and luminosity contrast. Third, Vienna State Opera costumes had the boldest designs and it reflected modern designs as well. This study is meaningful in that it is based on the comparison study on the same opera stage costumes designed by different directors. Afterward this study is expected to contribute toward study on opera stage costumes and stage costume's development.

This study attempts to systematically analyze a red carpet style. I have researched the Academy Awards called representative film awards which symbolizes international fame and the Grammy Awards which is the most prestigious award in the music industry by subdividing into formative elements such as silhouette, color, fabric, pattern, detail, accessory, fashion image, and so on from 2000 to 2012. Firstly, when it comes to silhouette, mermaid silhouette accounts for the highest proportion in the Academy Awards. Compared to this, fit silhouette is shown almost the same percentage as the mermaid silhouette in the Grammy Awards. Secondly, with regard to color, black color has not only the highest percentage but also examples of different unit forms such as various color, showy gradation and single colors. Various colors in the Grammy Awards have similar percentage in comparison with the Academy Awards. Thirdly, in terms of fabric, silky material is often used most, which looks like putting more weight on dresses for the formative elements of clothes. Fourthly, in pattern, patternless dresses are represented by high percentage at both the Academy Awards and Grammy Awards. Dresses with patterns have mild, stylistic elements and geometric designs. The Grammy Awards shows many different unique patterns, color and size, compared to the Academy Awards. Fifthly, in detail, frill and ruffle ornaments are shown most at the Academy Awards and Grammy Awards. Especially in the Grammy Awards, beads ornaments are used most. Sixthly, in accessory, there are many accessories of graceful, elegance styles in the Academy Awards. On the contrary to this, there are many accessories to effect on many performances of large, fancy, unique styles. Seventhly, elegance images of a goddess style among fashion images emerge as fashion of the Academy Awards. In spite of romantic styles in the Grammy Awards, many various images are the same rate as there, which means different appearance of experiment and sensational styles.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and symbolism of peony, the traditional noble flower, create knit fashion designer applying the aesthetic beauty of flower, and suggest the various possibility of developing knit fashion design. As for the study method, the study conducted review on literature and previous studies to investigate on history, characteristics, symbolism of peony, and examined various expressive technique through previous studies about fashion design using flower images. To express characteristics of peony in three dimensions, the study investigated and reflected on crochet expressive technique to design 4 women's knitwear. The results are as below. First, as shape of peony is big, voluminous, fancy and noble, it symbolizes wealth and beauty. Including red which is the generally known color of peony, there are yellow, white, pink, purple, green, blue, black, gray, white purple, white color. This study reflected characteristics and symbolism of peony and created knit fashion design applying abundant aesthetic characteristics of flower. Second, crochet method is advantageous as it is operable with thread and hooked crochet hook without time and space restriction, it can create unique fashion design. Crochet knitting on hand knit can diversity changes to express relief textures, and as there is no limit in size, it can be applied to small props to big pieces. This study suggested the various possibility of knit fashion design development and various expressive possibility on modern fashion design.
