Firms' utilization of internet is completely changing their business environment. Apparel firms' without exception are using internet as their essential marketing mechanism and as a new media for educating customers. Some apparel firms' at the same time acquire valuable customer information from internet users. These business cases become evident in developed countries. in contrast most domestic appstrl firms' are unable to see the strategic importance of internet. Accordingly their level of internet utilization remains quite low. This paper describes apparel firms' use of internet as electronic commerce mechanism based on cases of pioneering apparel firms' which adopted internet technologies in the first place. This paper deals with production scheduling of block assembly shop in shipbuilding company. The Objectives of the schedule are leveling of daily total workload and fair assignment of workload to each department of the shop. Optimizing the objectives, we consider some restrictions which consisit of block due dates, workability of each department, and space restriction. We formulate the problem in mathematical form. But the model is too complex to find the optimal solution (the problem is NP-complete) and we use the genetic algorithm to find a good solution.

In this paper, we propose efficient scheduling strategy for Multi-user MIMO systems that find advantageous trade off solution between multiuser diversity and spatial diversity, spatial multiplexing technique. Specifically, we suggest P-SFS(Pseudo-SNR Fair scheduling) algorithm that consider throughput and fairness problem. also we propose channel aware Antenna deployment that decide how to use assigned multiple antennas by the information of each user's channel condition.

This paper provides a performance study of multistage interconnection networks in packet switching environment. In comparison to earlier work, the model is more extensive - it includes several parameters such as multiple-packet messages, variable buffer size, and wait delay at a source. The model is also uniformly applied to several representative networks and thus provides a basis for fair comparison as well as selection of optimal values for parameters. The complexity of the model required use of simulation. However, a partial analytical model is provided to measure the congestion in a network.

This paper presents a transmission cost allocation through application of a new reliability index in transmission pricing in competitive electric industry. The proposed method allocates a fair use of transmission system charge given separately to individual generator by capacity usage, based on the contribution of individual generator considering N-1 contingency in reliability margin of transmission capacity, and offers more alternatives of pricing in using transmission capacity and transmission margin.

It is required to develop a rational transmission tariff system to ensure the fair participation of the players in the market. This study suggests an improved transmission tariff system which classifies the line capacity into line usage and reliability capacity based on their use and reasonably allocates the costs incurred by each of them to users. In addition, it takes the system load variations into consideration.

콘텐츠 제작의 특성상, 타인의 저작물을 이용해야만 하는 경우가 많다. 그러나 기술이 급격히 발전하는 현대사회에서 저작권법에 모든 상황을 예측하여 예외조항 등에 명시하기에는 무리기 있다. 나아가 경우에 따라서 원저작자의 허락을 받지 못하는 경우가 분명히 존재할 것인데, 이러한 경우에까지 권리자의 권리보호를 이유로 그 저작물의 사용을 금지하는 것은 문화산업의 발전을 저해하는 요소로 작용할 것이 자명하다. 이러한 경우를 대비하여 만든 공정이용 제도는 문화산업 발전에 크게 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

This research aims to analyze the meanings that the inscription of 'jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes' onto UNESCO World Natural Heritage and the promotion of Geomunoreum International Trekking Fair has given to ecotourism in Jeju. The inscription of Jeju World Natural Heritage and its extension into Geomunoreum International Trekking Fair generated important meanings in Jeju ecotourism in terms of promotion subjects and direction of the natural heritage use. First, this research holds that the local government became a crucial role on ecotourism development, along with small-sized-voluntary group tourists. Second, the research reflects the change of Jeju ecotourism characteristics from simple landscape-oriented tourism to theme tourism such as Geo-tourism. Finally it was found out that community residents were encouraged to participate in regional engagement, while I suggest for some concrete ways to induce their participation for community-based development.

WFQ (Weighted Fair Queuing) provides not only fairness among traffic flows in using bandwidth but also guarantees the Quality of Service (QoS) that individual flow requires, which is why it has been applied to the resource reservation protocol (RSVP)-capable router. The RSVP allocates an enough resource to satisfy both the rate and end-to-end delay requirements of the flow in condition of no packet loss, and the WFQ guarantees those QoS requirements with the allocated resource. In a practice, however, most QoS-guaranteed services, specially the Voice of IP, allow a few percent of packet loss, so it is strongly desired that the RSVP and WFQ make the best use of this allowable packet loss. This paper enhances the WFQ to allow packet loss and investigates its performance. The performance evaluation showed that allowing the packet loss of 0.4% can improve the flow admission capability by around 40 percent.

This study investigated the relationship between privacy policy awareness and willingness to provide personal information. Online privacy policies published on the Internet aim to build the trust of consumers and reduce their concerns about the provision of providing personal information. This study uses FIP(FIP; Fair Information Practices) principles to measure awareness of privacy policy. The result of the survey indicates significant relationships among awareness of privacy policy of e-commerce websites, privacy trust, and privacy risk. Privacy policy aims to improve transparency of collection and use of personal information. A high level of privacy trust is related to a high level of willingness to provide personal information on an e-commerce website. A low level of privacy risk is related to a high level of willingness to provide personal information on an e-commerce website. This study found that disposition to trust moderates the relationship between privacy policy awareness and privacy trust. This study contributes to further research on the relationships among privacy policy awareness, privacy trust, and privacy risk. The result of this study can be used by companies that aim to build privacy trust and reduce privacy risk.
