  • Background: Among the health problems in old age, oral health is closely related to nutrition intake and digestion, so although it is an important factor in the well-being of the elderly along with general health, studies examining the relationship between oral health-related factors and grip strength of the elderly are insufficient. Therefore, this study intends to examine the relationship between oral health-related factors and grip strength, which are closely related to the general health of the elderly. Methods: This study used data from the 7th period of Korea National Health and Nutrition Survey (2016~2018) approved by the Research Ethics Review Committee of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Complex sample frequency analysis and descriptive statistics were performed, and general linear model analysis was performed to confirm the relationship between demographic characteristics, oral health -related factors and grip strength. The statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 23.0, and the significance test was based on type I error level of 0.05. Results: Grip strength was higher in the case of no discomfort than in the case of discomfort in relation to mastication discomfort and grip strength (B=0.927, p<0.001). In addition, the grip strength was decreased by 1.348 times when not using dental floss (p<0.001) and when not using mouth wash was 1.480 times (p<0.001). Conclusion: In this study, in the relationship between oral health-related factors and grip strength, grip strength was found to be high in the absence of mastication discomfort. and in the case of using dental floss and mouthwash the elderly showed high grip strength. Therefore, it is suggested to present a lifestyle to improve hand function and grip strength in the elderly and develop a program to increase grip strength and provide them at the same time during oral health education.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the change of couple relationship factors predicting marital satisfaction and divorce intention over time tv comparing the couples' first year with their present year of marriage. The couple relationship factors consisted of affection, ambivalence, affectional expression, the expression of negativity. The study subjects 355 married women having preschool children aged 7 years old and elementary school students in the 6th grade. Data were analyzed by SPSSWIN with the method of MANOVA. The results of this study showed that couples in happy groups without divorce intention became less affectionate and demonstrated less affectional expression, and more ambivalence and expression of negativity over time. However, the amount of change was not as large as that of the unhappy groups. The findings of this research indicated that the decline of affection and affectional expression and the increase of ambivalence and expression of negativity were probably, as normative, a natural consequence of the transition from the first year of marriage to a more mature relationship. Therefore, the change over time was not important. However, the amount and aspects of change were the main points which researchers and practitioners should pal attention to in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify and comprehensively explain the SCM-related factors involved in the realization of RTE, including the quality of information concerning SCM, the quality of SCM partnerships, and relationship controlling factors (planning control, behavioral control, and outcome control). This study systematizes the interactions among these factors into a form of a model, elucidating how these interactions affect and shape RTE characteristics. To validate the research model proposed in the study, filed survey was conducted with 79 staffs in Korean company using SCM. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: First, the quality of information concerning SCM had significant effect on the quality of SCM partnerships, planning control, behavioral control, and outcome control. Not only does the quality of SCM information directly influence the quality of SCM partnerships, planning control, behavioral control, and outcome control; but it also indirect influence on forecasting, agility, and visibility of SCM though its influence on the different forms of relationship control. Second, the quality of SCM partnerships also had significant effect on planning control, behavioral control, and outcome control. In addition to directly influencing these forms of relationship control, the quality of SCM partnerships also indirectly influenced forecasting, agility, and visibility though its influence on relationship control. Third, planning control significantly influenced forecasting, agility and visibility. Fourth, behavioral control significantly influenced forecasting, but neither agility nor visibility. • IIn this paper, I investigate the effect of special education teachers' self-leadership on job-satisfaction. The data was collected from 141 special education teachers to analyze the correlations between self-leadership, job and life satisfaction. In addition, another purpose is to analyze how self-leadership influence on job satisfaction (human relationship, assigned tasks) and life satisfaction. The results are shown as follows. First, self-expectation and goal setting, self-expectation and human relationship, human relationship and assigned tasks have meaningful correlation. Second, self-expectation and self-rewarding are sub-factors of self-leadership that have great influence on human relationship which is a subordinate factor of job satisfaction and assigned tasks. Third, self-expectation and self-rewarding are factors of self-leadership that have a great influence on life satisfaction. Finally, it shows that self-leadership has an effect on life satisfaction through assigned task, which is a factor of job satisfaction. However, through human relationship, self-leadership does not have a meaningful effect on life satisfaction. This study is significant by finding sub-factors which influence special education teacher's self leadership, job satisfaction and life satisfaction by using Bootstrap method.

  • Existing literature on the CRM [Customer Relationship Management] has emphasized the marketing strategies between the franchisor and franchisee. In this study, we focused instead on factors involved in forging relationships based on marketing strategies between franchisee and the customers. A survey questionnaire was completed by 250 customers of Korean-style food franchises located in Seoul and Inchon. Each questions is based on a 5-point likert-type scale. After initial data recording, 41 questionnaires were deleted from the data set because of missing or insincerely answer. Finally, the sample data of 209 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. The data were analyzed with SPSS version 13.0 software to assess consumer satisfaction, trust, and support/reputation on flexibility and commitment. Regression analysis was performed to analyze the relationship between flexibility and commitment. Satisfaction and support/reputation significantly influenced flexibility, both satisfaction and trust significantly influenced commitment, and both flexibility and commitment significantly influenced the restaurant-consumer relationship.

  • Canonical correlation biplot is 2-dimensional plot for investigating the relationship between two sets of variables and the relationship between observations and variables in canonical correlation analysis graphically. Recently, Choi and Choi (2008) suggested a method for investigating the relationship between skill and competition score factors of KLPGA players using canonical correlation biplot and cluster analysis. analysis. Procrustes analysis is very useful tool for comparing shape between configurations. Therefore, in this study, we will provide a method for investigating the relationship between player characteristic factors and competitive factors of tennis grand slams competition using Canonical correlation biplot and Procrustes analysis.
