Development and its APPLIcation of Computer Program for Slope Hazards Prediction using Decision Tree Model (의사결정나무모형을 이용한 급경사지재해 예측프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • Based on the data obtained from field investigation and soil testing to slope hazards occurrence section and non-occurrence section in crystalline rocks like gneiss, granite, and so on, a prediction model was developed by the use of a decision tree model. The classification standard of the selected prediction model is composed of the slope angle, the coefficient of permeability and the void ratio in the order. The computer program, SHAPP ver. 1.0 for prediction of slope hazards around an important national facilities using GIS technique and the developed model. To prove the developed prediction model and the computer program, the field data surveyed from Jumunjin, Gangneung city were compared with the prediction result in the same site. As the result of comparison, the real occurrence location of slope hazards was similar to the predicted section. Through the continuous study, the accuracy about prediction result of slope hazards will be upgraded and the computer program will be commonly used in practical.

  • This study is to predict the biogas production and the content analysis of the organic wastes of three islands located in the City of I. Content analysis for a total of six sections, including pH, BOD, COD, three components (Moisture, Ash, Combustibles)was conducted on the specimens of organic wastes from the representative spots of three islands. From the analysis result of organic waste, it is confirmed that more than $1,750,000m^3$ of methane gas per year will be generated through the calculation of the total methane generation for the COD value. Therefore, if the incineration facility for the organic waste in island region is converted into a biogas production facilities which is non-incineration facility, it seems that the organic waste of efficient utilization is available.

  • This research verified the influence of the empowerment on the burnout and the mediating effect of the turnover intention of professionals in the rehabilitation centers. A survey of 363 professionals working in the facilities of D Metropolitan City and C Province was conducted. The important analysis methods are correlation, confirmatory factor analysis, and bootstrap test. The research results are as follows : the professionals' empowerment influenced burnout negatively and the turnover intention mediated between the empowerment and the burnout. According to this analysis results, it is important to improve the empowerment and to lower the turnover intention for reducing the burnout. And some measures were suggested to improve the empowerment and to lower the turnover intention.

  • In this study, the effect of the social distance maintenance and pedestrian route system was analyzed for Seoul Station, one of the multi use facilities according to the COVID-19 pandemic. For analysis, the Seoul Station pedestrian network was established through the survey of the number of passengers and CAD floor plan. A pedestrian that maintaining Social Distance was implemented using the Social Force Model. Based on this, scenario analysis was proceed. As a result, when the walking line system was installed the average walking speed decreased compared to the current situation. but the average density was analyzed that maintain the walking level of service (LOS)'C', this mean walking line system is effective, and the effect of the walking line system was proved. It can be used as a pedestrian simulation model.

  • The problems of urban land use are becoming worse by the increase of population and facilities. Land use planning is the major part of comprehensive city plan¬ning. Understanding and forecasting the present and future conditions of land use are the main process of land use planning. In order to comprehend the various phenomena which occured on the land, collecting accurate land information is the most important thing for the effective management of land use. Therefore, it is necessary for us to establish the land information systems. In this study, theories of functions, objectives, components and applications of land information systems were investigated as the basis of this research. Case studies of Korea and Japan were examined, not only for the desirable selection of input data items, but also for the effective land use anslysis in land information systems. Through this kind of study, we can anslize and understand the changing patterns of land use over time, and we can also prepare a more desirable and adjustable land use plan-ning programs for the future.

A Study on Analysis of Differences, Purchase Intentions and Importance-Satisfaction According to the Recognition of Local Foods and Restaurants in Busan (부산시 향토음식과 음식점의 인지도에 따른 차이, 구매의도, 중요도-만족도의 분석)

  • This study conducted t-test and ANOVA analysis, influence of importance-satisfaction, regression analysis to local food and restaurants to the purchase intention in Busan. The subjects of this study were tourists who visited local restaurants in Busan, and the final 392 copies were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the study, first, there will be a significant difference in the recognition of local foods in Busan according to the visitor's region. In all samples, the recognition was high in the order of pork stock, wheat noodle, sauteed·fired soft eel, grilled·ell sashmi. On the other hand, sansung bulgogi, Dongrae pajeon, and sansung makkŏlli were the lowest. Second, in the difference between importance and satisfaction of local restaurants in Busan, 'there is a different taste compared to other regions' showed high satisfaction and importance. Third, In the relationship between the awareness of local restaurants in Busan and the purchase intention, it was found to be effective in service, facilities, prices and locality and cleanliness were rejected.

  • In recent, events tourism of community festival is a particular form of tourism which has experienced considerable growth in Korea, and is become the important strategy for tourist inducement and revitalization of regional economy. Many events of community festival were mainly established since 1995, and most of local government such as city and county adopted the events of cultural tourism festival. Among these community festival, Hampyeong Butterfly Festival of Hampyeong-gun of Jeollanamdo, is recognized as one of famous events all over the country. In particular, Hampyeong Butterfly Festival to be held since 1999, attracts over 1 million tourists annually, and provides a lot of opportunities educational shows and exhibitions, including ecology experiences and learning sites, as well as environmentally-friendly agriculture learning sites, folklore customs, cultural heritage and traditional plays. Therefore, the purpose of this study focuses on the tourist behaviour of Butterfly Festival 2002. Most tourist have positive attitude and evaluation about festival, in particular, tourists present show high satisfaction with many programs of festival. However, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of festival, Hampyeong-gun have to concern with some improvements such as the expansion of tourists' facilities, active publicity activities, and matketing of special products of Hampyeong-gun.

  • Micro dust is closely related to real life. Especially, the micro dust forecasting system is being implemented from February 2014. Reliability of data through air pollution monitoring network is important. The Ministry of Environment operates 506 air pollution monitoring networks (11 types) to analyze national air quality and establish air policies. However, there is not enough system to confirm and check the site suitability of the measurement site. Therefore, this study analyzes urban space using GIS. Assess the appropriateness and equity of air pollution measurement facilities. The final goal is to reflect the results of the analysis into the Seoul Metropolitan Air Pollution Monitoring Network Installation Plan.

  • This case study is concerned with the project of the explosive demolition for the KOGAS office building located in Bundang district in Seongnam city. Since the office building was a kind of long-span beam structures, a mechanical demolition method using jacking support systems was considered in the beginning of the project. With consideration of the excessive reinforcement cost, uncertainty of safety, and prolonged construction period, however, the original plan was later changed to use an explosive demolition method. For the purpose of protecting nearby buildings and facilities during the collapse process, the explosive initiation sequence was elaborately designed to bring down the building structure towards its front left corner. A total of over 550 electronic detonators (Unitronic 600) was used to sequentially initiate the explosives installed at appropriate columns in the first, second, and fifth floors. To diminish dust production, water bags of small and large sizes were respectively installed at each column and on the floors to be blasted. As such, every effort was exercised to mitigate overall noise, dust, and shock vibrations that could be generated during the explosive demolition process for the office building.

  • This study is a study on ways to revitalize traditional markets in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and a total of 188 of the 2021 Cheonan City traditional market and shopping district fact-finding data were used for research and analysis. In order to revitalize the environment improvement of traditional markets, it can be seen that environmental changes suitable for the times are primarily required. The traditional market is an underdeveloped space, and through the parking environment improvement project and facility modernization project (toilet, facility equipment, etc.), space is improved through a specialization and subdivision process to meet the needs of the times, thereby increasing operational convenience, increasing visitor use, and improving natural perception. can promote In addition, the efficiency and effectiveness of the traditional market vitalization project can be increased when differentiated management vitalization contents and facility modernization projects are organically harmonized. This study is meaningful in that it analyzes the environmental improvement of facilities among the traditional market vitalization factors for the vitalization of the traditional market, and proposes a plan that can be a practical alternative to the government support policy for the traditional market.
