This paper is to survey the cooperation between the school and the community with respect to the degree of share of their facilities. The hypothesis of this paper is that the share of facilities between the school and the community is helpful for the two. That is, the community, using the school facilities, can educate to upgrade its people to higher social level. The school, using the community facilities, can compensate insufficient school facilities and facilitate student learnings. This paper employed both a literature survey and a case study approach explained by the case of Seong Dong Gu and its schools. This paper argued that the share of the facilities between the school and the community is needed to facilitate student learnings and to upgrade community people to higher level. Thus, government should encourage the cooperation between the two. This paper found that the school can use other schools' facilities, camping facilities, various types of private institute, community libraries, social welfare centers, athlentic facilities, and park facilities in the community. Most of the facilities are rested during school hours and are vacant more or less after school hours, so that there are still room for share the facilities with the students. This paper found that the community can easily use school facilities for life-long education programs, house-wife classes, athlentic programs for daily life, recreation classes for community people because the school is located in the center of the community. These programs using school facilities can encourage to upgrade community persons' social levels. However, this paper found that the degree of community use is insufficient to fulfil the school facilities. Only a few percent of the school class rooms and other facilities are used by the community. Therefore this paper asserted that community education programs using school facilities should be expanded. This paper recommended, based on the findings, that governments should encourage the cooperation between the school and the community to facilitate student's learnings and to upgrade community people to higher level. Also it recommended that the school should share more community facilities and that the community should share more school facilities.

In this paper, we have implemented the device management system to upgrade T-PAK software in mobile phone. The hybrid scheduling method and selective upgrade method are proposed. Hybrid scheduling method is based on distribution of delivery data in accordance with network traffic load and service priority from device management server to mobile phone. Selective upgrade method manages DSL classified by T-PAK software version to be upgrade using version management established in OMA DM SCOMO. Key mechanism of selective upgrade method is to only deliver DSL to be replaced to the mobile phone. We made an experiment on two methods using MS-700T terminals. The experimental result shows that the proposed method is faster than normal from delivery time standpoint.

풍동시험은 유도무기체계 개발에 있어서 필수적인 과정 중 하나이며, 시험 조건 및 용도에 따라 다양한 풍동설비가 존재한다. Ludwieg Tube는 극초음속 유도무기 체계개발에서 매우 유용하며, 고 받음각 시험 및 풍동시험 결과의 반복성, 일관성이 필요한 가운데 풍동시험 설비의 능력보강이 필요하였다. 본 논문에서는 국방과학연구소 Ludwieg Tube가 가졌던 문제점과 노즐, 진공탱크 및 모형지지부 성능개량을 통한 문제해결 방안을 제시하고 풍동시험 간 압력 측정 결과를 바탕으로 해결 방안을 증명하였다.

The purpose of this study is to get a grasp on the current trend of apartment facilities by analyzing the bathroom facilities of the brand apartments, which are currently being sold in the metropolitan area. Twenty eight apartment complexes from top seven brand apartment, ranked by its construction ability in 2007, were selected as the subject of the study. Research was conducted by studying bathroom facilities of each complexes through e-catalogues in their web-site. The results of the analysis are as follows. Functional improvements as well as digital equipments were added to the basic facilities. Also in order to upgrade the quality of bathrooms, various and high-quality facilities and finishing materials were used as well as glass partitions for separation of dry and wet area, sunlight windows and so on. The conclusion reached to the fact that those various bathroom facilities need to be considered in the aspect of providing high quality living environment, not just supplying various bathroom to the future customer.

Over a past century, the continuity in post-earthquake serviceability of medical facilities has been demonstrated to be essential for sustaining a society and/or a nation stable. However, not many countries including Korea have paid appropriate attention to such a lesson learned from the previous experiences of the countries located in high seismicity for various reasons, one of which may be the lack of social consensus in allocating a portion of the resources to the earthquake preparedness. As a result, an earthquake-related policy might have been pushed away out of the list of priority in the government agenda. Therefore, the present paper attempts to persuade the public general, experts and government officials together to seek a way to upgrade the seismic safety of the country a step forward by enhancing the seismic performance of medical facilities. For this the framework of seismic design codes and standards for medical facilities, and Californian experience in managing the seismic performance enhancement program and U.S.-Italian collaborative study to improve the seismic safety of Italian hospitals are reviewed. Finally, a list of further researches and practices to perform for seismic enhancement of medical facilities in Korea are suggested.

With the global climate changes, a global concerns on building energy uses and $CO_2$ emission to improve the environment friendly has been increasingly growing. To achieve this global goal, the Korea government has been seeking an environment-friendly and sustainable development. As the results, the government started Green Building Certification Criteria system. however the certificate system has still been at the basic stage. To upgrade and advance it's level, it's necessary to identify the current status. This study aims to pick out the items requiring improvement for the Ecology of Education Facilities. We expect that the results of this study will be helpful for the next design works of certificate system.

Due to the rapid development of telecommunication industry, most telecom operators are investing to upgrade their access networks by using optical cables instead of copper cables. Building new telecom ducts for optical cable installation requires so huge capital expenses that most telecom operators need to remove unused copper cables in order to secure enough space to in-stall optical cables. In this paper, we will present a alternative method to extract copper from removed copper cables.

유비쿼터스 정보사회로 발전하고 있는 우리사회에서 정보통신망이 무엇보다 중요한 사회기반 시설이 되었으며, 이를 설계하고 시공하는 기술에 대한 감리는 국가 기간산업의 초석을 다지는 일이라 할 수 있다. 정보사회에서 통신망시설에 심각한 결함이나 문제점이 발생 하면 국민생활의 불편함은 물론 국가 경제에 치명적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이를 예방하기 위해서 정보통신시설의 설계와 공사가 기술기준에 의해 체계적으로 시행되고 있는지를 허가 받은 통신전문가에 의해 감리되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 정보통시설에 대한 현행 감리제도의 문제점을 살펴보고 품질확보를 위한 정보통신시설의 설계, 시공, 감리 및 운용이 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 제도적인 보완 방안들을 제시하였다.

The object of this study is to propose the simplified power demand control system which is appliable to existing buildings or new buildings. Through the technical survey and power demand analysis in office buildings, the electric facilities which can be controlled are selected. Power demand control program can be controlled the electric facilities in order, and displayed the facility operation state. The proposed power demand control system is cost-effective and flexibly adoptable in system upgrade or retrofit.
