  • The purpose of this study is to explore the design direction of artificial intelligence convergence liberal arts subjects based on flip learning and maker education through analysis of learner needs in a non-face-to-face classroom environment caused by COVID-19. To this end, we analyzed the priorities of subject content elements by using the Borich needs assessment and The Locus for Focus model along with students' perceptions of flip learning for students who took and did not take maker education-based liberal arts courses. Based on this, it was used as basic data for designing the curriculum. The study results are as follows. First, the content elements of the artificial intelligence liberal arts curriculum based on maker education consisted of a total of 9 areas and were designed as a class using flip learning. Second, the areas with the highest demand for education are 'Artificial Intelligence Theory', 'Artificial Intelligence Programming Practice', 'Physical Computing Theory', 'Physical Computing Practice', followed by 'Convergence Project', '3D Printing Theory', '3D Printing practice' was decided. Third, most of the questionnaires regarding the application of flip learning in maker education-based artificial intelligence liberal arts subjects showed positive responses regardless of whether they took the course, and the satisfaction of the students was very high. Based on this, an artificial intelligence-based convergence liberal arts curriculum using flip learning and maker education was designed. This is meaningful in that it provides an opportunity to cultivate artificial intelligence literacy for college students by preparing the foundation for artificial intelligence convergence education in liberal arts education by reflecting the needs of students.

  • This study examines the effects of a new app-based intervention program for conversational skills of children with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Participants in this study comprised 26 children diagnosed with autism, Asperger's syndrome, or pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS). Participants were randomly assigned into a treatment group or a control group according to their ages, IQ, SCQ, and ASSQ scores. The treatment group met with teachers once a week for a single non-face-to-face class for nine weeks, along with conversation training at home using an app. The control group did not participate in any specific programs for conversational skills. Conversation data of all participants were collected before and after the intervention to compare the two groups based on changes in the conversational turn-taking and topic manipulation skills. When analyzed with respect to a Group X Period analysis of variance (ANOVA), the data indicated maintenance on the rate of appropriate listener's verbal responses in the treatment group, whereas the rate of inappropriate listener's verbal response significantly declined in the control group. In addition, the rate of conversation initiation and maintenance and the rate of appropriate initiation improved in the treatment group, whereas the rate of inappropriate initiation declined in this group. Overall, the study demonstrates promising effects of the novel App-based digital intervention on verbal conversational skills in children with high function ASD.

  • This paper is the study on the Medium Designator in Non-book materials. Main contents of this study were as follows; 1. The medium designator serves to indicate the class of material to which an item belongs. This is used to give an 'early warning' ;to the catalogue user. 2. This medium designator may be further divided into two elements ; a general material designation (GMD), for example video-recording, and a specific material designation (SMD), for example, videodisc. 3. GMD: In cataloging, a term indicating the broad class of material to which a bibliographic item belongs, such as 'motion picture', and SMD : In descriptive cataloging, a term indicating the special class of material (usually the class of physical object) to which a biblographic item belongs, such as videocassette. 4. Locating the medium designator after the title proper was not prescribed until ISBD(G) and AACR2. In pre-ISBD(G) codes, the ,early, warning type of medium designator was placed after all title information. But in AACR2, the medium designator is placed after the title proper, but before parellel title and other title information. 5. In Terminology, Two separate lists of designations are given in AACR2, l.1C1, one for British and one for North American use. The British list contains fewer terms, and uses generic categories to group together some of the North American list. 6. The problem of where to place the medium designator might be circumvented by using some kind of early alerting device other than a formal element of biblliographic description. Various alternatives have been suggested. A more popular device is the provision of symbols or 'media code' which are part of the call number and indicate the porticular medium type. 'Colour-coding' the use of used by some libraries but is now longly discouraged. 7. According to Frost. The medium designatorhas been generally reeognized as serving three functions; 1) as a statement of the nature or basic format of the item cataloged and thus as a meant of informing the user as to the type of material at hand; 2) as a description of the physical charaetistics of medium and as a means of alerting the user to equipment needed to make use of the item. 3) as a device to distinguish different physical formats which share the same title. 8. AACR2 raises some problems which decision makers have neet had to face preriously It provides a GMD for every item in the collection including books and it makes the application of any or all GMD's optional.

  • The present study was performed to prove the relationship between CO-CR discrepancy and facial skeletal type. In this study, 242 subjects were randomly selected and devided into 9 groups(devided into class I, II, III by ANB and each one devided into dolicho-, brachy-, mesofacial skeleton by Ricketts' vertical index). Lateral cephalometric radiographs with the mandible in centric occlusion were taken and measured and CO and CR bites were registered on all subjects. Diagnostic casts were mounted on Panadent articulator using an estimated face-bow and centric relation bite registration. The amount and direction of CO-CR discrepancy present was recorded using a Condylar Position Indicator(CPI) and a centric occlusion wax bite registration. CPI measurements and cephalometric measurements were statistically analyzed. The finding of this study can be summerized as follows : 1. There is little correlation between right and left sides for magnitude or direction of CO-CR discrepancies. The correlation between the magnitude of CO-CR discrepancy of left A-P and right A-P is higher than that of left S-I and right S-I. 2. Correlation of Class II malocclusion group was higher than that of the other groups between the magnitude of CO-CR discrepancy of left CPI and right CPI. 3. There is no difference between the pattern of CO-CR discrepancy of 9 malocclusion groups. 4. There is very little, if any, correlation between Skeletofacial measurements and CO-CR discrepancy. 5. In Class II brachyfacial skeleton and Class III mesofacial skeleton there was Lateral cephalometric measurements by that we predict CPI measurements was detected. That was overbite, overjet, upper genial angle, lower genial angle, saddle angle, articular angle, convexity of point A, ANS-Me/Na-Me, PCBL/RH, Posterior FH/anterior FH.

  • In this study, a survey was conducted and analyzed to find out the satisfaction of online classes among students enrolled in the radiology department of a university located in Busan city. As a result, in terms of satisfaction with online classes, male scores were higher, but there was no statistically significant difference. In the interdisciplinary system, the satisfaction score of the students enrolled in Bachelor's degree was high, and there was a statistically significant difference except for the satisfaction of learning participation (p<0.001, p<0.05). For class satisfaction by grade level, Senior had higher scores, and there were statistically significant differences except for learning participation satisfaction (p<0.001, p<0.01, p<0.05). In the satisfaction survey according to the number of lectures, the scores of the students who took 4-7 lectures were found to be high except for the satisfaction of learning participation, and there was a statistically significant difference (p<0.01, p<0.05). In the method of communication with the instructor, students who used e-mail showed high scores, and there was a statistically significant difference in lecture satisfaction (p<0.05). In the correlation analysis between sub-variables for online classes, statistically significant correlations were established in all areas. Most of the students preferred class methods such as recorded classes and classes using external content such as YouTube, and when asked about the merits of online classes, many students answered that the advantages of online classes were repetitive classes and no restrictions on time and place. When asked about the shortcomings of online classes, many students answered that it was a lack of concentration and lack of communication with the instructor. This study was conducted to provide basic data to improve the satisfaction of online classes that will increase in the future. Therefore, based on the results of this study, it is expected that more quality online classes will be produced so that students' satisfaction with online classes can be improved.

  • In this study, we investigated how 'Scientific Inquiry Experiment,' a newly introduced subject under the 2015 revised curriculum, was implemented to identify the difficulties that science teachers face in the process of teaching the subject and to explore how to support them through online survey and interview methods. A questionnaire of the survey, which consisted of environmental factors of class, preparation and execution of class, teacher self-evaluation of class, and direction for the subject, was developed, and the online survey was requested with a response from one teacher per school from 1674 high schools nationwide. We analyzed the results from 814 teachers who answered all required questions, and we also conducted interviews and online advisory discussions to ensure the validity of our analysis. In the results of the study, teachers complained of lack of time for preparation and execution of the subject, and they demanded laboratory assistants and quality teaching materials. In addition, in order to achieve the goal of the subject, they agreed the necessity of using the 'block scheduling' though they also agreed the difficulties of its implementation. Meanwhile, the alteration of guidelines for evaluation, which was changed from 9-grade system to 3-grade system, was positively recognized by teachers. As a result of this change, the percentage of performance assessment increased in 2019 compared to 2018, but there were no significant changes in the number of 'hands-on activity.' Finally, we proposed ways to support 'scientific inquiry experiment'.

  • There has been an increasing necessity of Semantic Web-based metadata that helps computers efficiently understand and manage an information increased with the growth of Internet. However, it seems inevitable to face some semantically ambiguous information when metadata is generated. Therefore, we need a solution to this problem. This paper proposes a new method for automated metadata generation with the help of a concept of class, in which some ambiguous words imbedded in information such as documents are semantically more related to others, by using probability model of consequent words. We considers ambiguities among defined concepts in ontology and uses the Hidden Markov Model to be aware of part of a named entity. First of all, we constrict a Markov Models a better understanding of the named entity of each class defined in ontology. Next, we generate the appropriate context from a text to understand the meaning of a semantically ambiguous word and solve the problem of ambiguities during generating metadata by searching the optimized the Markov Model corresponding to the sequence of words included in the context. We experiment with seven semantically ambiguous words that are extracted from computer science thesis. The experimental result demonstrates successful performance, the accuracy improved by about 18%, compared with SemTag, which has been known as an effective application for assigning a specific meaning to an ambiguous word based on its context.

  • This study was not intended to analyze out the realities of the safety accidents in school. The purpose of this study was to find out the personality of elementary school students in 6th grade and analyze the relationship between the personality of elementary school students and the safety accidents in the school. We made a visit 12 elementary school personally in the B city of Gyeonggi Province and gave out 552 questionaries in order to accomplish the purpose of this study. And we analyzed the 501 answer data except the unfittable data 51 sheets-in case of no answer or untruthfulness. The inspection of the personality used the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ) and the questionnaires of the safety accidents in the school were reorganized of the questionnaires which were used in Chun-Ok, Joen(1997) and One-Yong, Kim(1999)'s study to correspond with our purpose of study. Answer sheets were gone through the t and x2 test by using the program of SPPS. First, elementary school students are in the formative period in the life of a man. So many students's personality was in the middle group rather than in high and low group. In regard of the distintion between the boy students and the girl students, the boy students had higher score in Psychoticism(P) but the girl students had higher score in Neutroticism(N). And Lie(L) was showing a little more score in the girl students. Second, there was significant difference in the investigation of safety accidents in school according to sex distinction. 1) Comparing the boy students and the girl students, the rate of accidents was higher in boy rather than girl. And there was significant difference. 2) Comparing the grade of the school, the rate of accidents was higher in upper grade than lower grade both girls and boys. 3) In the kind of accidents, the traumatic Injuries were very popular and the next were contusions. There was significant difference in the traumatic injury and nosebleed. 4) The results of injured parts showed that the injuries of foot, leg, hand, arm hold a large majority. And there was a significant difference in head, face, foot, leg and etc. 5) Most accidents broke out during the break time and then accidents happened after school were the next. The flowings were lunch time and class time. There was a significant difference in accidents happened during the class, break time and lunch time. 6) Comparing the subjects, the most accidents broke out in the class of physics. 7) Among the cause of accidents, one's own carelessness was showing the highest rate. There was a significant distintion in the fight and game. 8) The safety accidents took place most in playground, and there was a significant difference. 9) Being slight wound was showing almost in the degrees of damage. And there was a significant difference. Third, the boy students were not showing the significant difference in relation to the personality, the frequency of accidents and the degrees of damage. But the girl students were showing the significant difference in relation to the Extraversion-Introversion(E) and the frequency of accidents. And there were a significant difference between E and N. Also they were showing the intense damages.

  • Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate the position of impacted mandibular third molars in different skeletal facial types among a group of Iranian patients. Materials and Methods: A total of 400 mandibular third molars in 200 subjects with different types of facial growth were radiographically investigated for their positions according to their types of facial growth on the basis of the ${\beta}$ angle. The subjects were divided into three groups (class I, II, and III) according to ANB angle, representing the anteroposterior relationship of the maxilla to the mandible. Meanwhile, the subjects were also divided into three groups (long, normal, and short face) according to the angle between the stella-nasion and mandibular plane (SNGoGn angle). ANOVA was used for statistical analysis. Results: The mean ${\beta}$ angle showed no significant difference among class I, II, and III malocclusions (df=2, F=0.669, p=0.513). The same results were also found in short, normal, and long faces (df=1.842, F=2, p=0.160). The mesioangular position was the most frequent one in almost all of the facial growth patterns. Distoangular and horizontal positions of impaction were not found in the subjects with class III and normal faces. In the long facial growth pattern, the frequency of vertical and distoangular positions were not different. Conclusion: In almost all of the skeletal facial types, the mesioangular impaction of the mandibular third molar was the most prevalent position, followed by the horizontal position. In addition, ${\beta}$ angle showed no significant difference in different types of facial growth.
