실리콘 화합물로 도포된 목재의 열위험성 평가 (Heat Risk Assessment of Wood Coated with Silicone Compounds)

  • 실리콘 화합물 4종으로 처리한 편백목재 시험편의 연소특성에 관한 실험을 ISO 5660-1 표준에 따른 콘칼로리미터를 이용하여 수행하였다. 난연재는 소듐실리케이트와 아미노실란을 이용하여 합성하였다. 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APTMS), 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propylmethyldimethoxysilane (AEA-PMDMS), 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane (AEAPTM)을 실란 화합물로 사용하였다. 외부열유속 $50kW/m^2$에서 연소후 측정된 실리콘 졸로 처리한 시험편의 착화시간은 9~11 s로 얻어졌으며 공시편보다 3~5 s 지연되었다. 최대열방출율은 공시편과 비교하여 5~20% 감소되었고 화재초기위험성은 AEAPMDMS가 가장 높았다. 총열방출량은 1~22% 감소되었다. 화재성능지수(FPI)는 공시편보다 1.5~2.2배 증가하였다. 화재성장지수(FGI)는 AEAPMDMS로 처리된 시험편은 20% 증가하였고 나머지 시편은 93~94% 감소하였다. 따라서 실리콘화합물로 처리한 목재의 화재위험성은 열위험성 측면에서 개선되었다.

화재 시 연소성 물질에 대한 화재 위험성 등급 평가 (Rating Evaluation of Fire Risk for Combustible Materials in Case of Fire)

  • 본 연구는 건자재용 목재 및 플라스틱의 화재위험성 평가에 대하여 새로 고안된 화재성능지수-III (FPI-III), 화재성장지수-III (FGI-III), 화재위험성지수-IV (FRI-IV)를 중심으로 조사하였다. 시험편은 삼나무, 적송, PMMA, PVC를 사용하였다. 화재 특성은 시험편에 대하여 콘칼로리미터(ISO 5660-1) 장비를 이용하여 조사하였다. 연소반응 후 측정된 화재성능지수-III는 PMMA를 기준으로 1.0~15.0으로 나타났다. 화재성능지수-III에 의한 화재위험성은 PVC, 적송, 삼나무, PMMA 순서로 증가하였다. 화재성장지수-III는 PMMA를 기준으로 0.5~3.3으로 나타났다. 화재성장지수-III에 의한 화재위험성은 PVC, PMMA, 적송, 삼나무의 순서로 증가하였다. 모든 시편의 CO 피크농도는 106~570 ppm으로 측정되었다. 결론적으로 체적밀도가 낮은 삼나무와 PMMA와 같이 휘발성 유기물질을 다량 함유한 재료는 화재성능지수-III가 낮고, 화재성장지수-III가 높으므로 화재로 인한 화재위험성이 높은 것으로 이해된다. 이는 화재위험성지수-IV와 일치하였다.

연안개량안강망 어업의 어획성능 및 어획능력 추정 (Estimation of fishing power and fishing capacity on coastal stow net fishery in the Korean waters)

  • The coastal stow net (stow net hereafter) in Korea is one of the major fishing methods for yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactis), ribbon fish (Trichiurus lepturus), and anchovy (Engraulis japonicus). In terms of energy efficiency, the stow net fishery is more competitive than towing fishing gears such as trawl gears. The fishing vessels in stow net fishery have consumed less fossil fuel and also have had less carbon dioxide emission into the atmosphere. however, the stow net fishery is necessary to be regulated due to its increased output of the fleet. Therefore, it is required for fisheries authorities to manage the fishing capacity or fishing power for the assurance of fishery's sustainability. For fisheries management authorities, it is necessary to quantify data related to fishing capacity and fishing power to deploy fishery policy in a sustainable way. In terms of data for decision-making, Data envelopment analysis (DEA) method was conducted to estimate fishing capacity. Fishing power index (FPI) was also applied to calculate relative fishing power to approach the problem in a quantitative way.

광섬유 패치코드를 이용한 Fabry-Perot 간섭계 온도센서 (Temperature Sensor Based on Fabry-Perot Interferometer Using a Fiber Optic Patch Cord)

  • In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) optical fiber tip sensor fabricated by a blade-sawing technique using a fiber optic patch cord for high-resolution temperature measurement. The sensor head consists of a short air FP cavity near the tip of a single-mode fiber patch cord tip. The temperature which we can measure is determined through a phase variation of the interference fringes in the reflective spectrum of the sensor. The fiber optic FPI sensor in this work can monitor the environmental temperature very accurately from 40 to $120^{\circ}C$. As a result, the temperature sensitivity is obtained as $38.2pm/^{\circ}C$.

평활관과 낮은 핀관에서 R245fa의 풀 비등 열전달계수 (Pool Boiling Heat Transfer Coefficient of R245fa on the Plain Tube and the Low Fin Tube)

  • In this work, pool boiling heat transfer coefficients(HTCs) of R22, R123, R134a, and R245fa are measured on both horizontal plain and 26 fpi low fin tubes. The pool boiling temperature is maintained at $7^{\circ}C$ and heat flux is varied from 80 $kW/m^2$ to 10 $kW/m^2$ with an interval of 10 $kW/m^2$. Wall temperatures are measured directly by thermocouples inserted through holes of 0.5 mm diameter. Test results show that HTCs of high vapor pressure refrigerants are usually higher than those of low pressure fluids in both plain and low fin tubes. On a plain tube, HTCs of R245fa are 23.3% higher than those of R123 while on a 26 fpi low fin tube, HTCs of R245fa are 46.3% higher than those of R123. The fin effect is more prominent with low vapor pressure refrigerants than with high vapor pressure ones due to a sweeping effect.

낮은 핀 표면과 Turbo-B 촉진 표면에서 임계 열유속까지의 풀 비등 열전달계수 (Pool Boiling Heat Transfer Coefficients Up to Critical Heat flux on Low-fin and Turbo-B Surfaces)

  • In this work, nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficients(HTCs) of 5 refrigerants of differing vapor pressure are measured on horizontal low fin and Turbo-B square surfaces of 9.53 mm length. Tested refrigerants are R32, R22, R134a, R152a and R245fa and HTCs are taken from 10 $kW/m^2$ to critical heat fluxes for all refrigerant at $7^{\circ}C$. Wall and fluid temperatures are measured directly by thermocouples located underneath the test surface and in the liquid pool. Test results show that Critical heat fluxes(CHFs) of all enhanced surfaces are greatly improved as compared to that of a plain surface in all tested refrigerants. CHFs of all refrigerants on the 26 fpi low fin surface are increased up to 240% as compared to that of the plain surface. HTCs on both low fin and Turbo-B surfaces increase with heat flux. After certain heat flux, however, they decrease. CHFs of the Turbo-B enhanced surface are lower than that of the 26 fpi low fin surface. This phenomenon is due to the difference in surface structure of the low fin and Turbo-B surface.

  • 사회기반시설의 지중화로 인하여 쉴드 TBM 적용이 점차 확대되고 있는 추세다. 합리적인 공기기간 및 공사비 산정을 위해 쉴드 TBM의 실굴진율을 정확하게 예측하는 것은 매우 중요한 사안이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 국내에서는 지반의 물성을 합리적으로 반영한 쉴드 TBM의 실굴진율 예측모델이 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구는 쉴드 TBM의 순굴진율 산정을 위해 현장 데이터베이스를 기반으로 현장관입지수의 통계적 예측절차를 모듈화 하였다. 출력인자로 현장관입지수를 선정하였고, 비정상치 제거 및 전처리 그리고 최상 부분집합선택이 고려된 능형회귀를 적용한 예측시스템을 모듈에 포함하였다. 또한 현장 굴진 데이터를 활용하여 예측모델의 적용성을 확인하였다.

Effectiveness of Arch Support Taping is Subjects With Excessive Foot Pronation: A Meta-analysis

  • Background: An excessive pronated foot is defined as a flattening or complete loss of the medial longitudinal arch. Excessive foot pronation is considered to have high risk factors of overuse injuries in the lower limb. Various treatments have been investigated in attempts to control excessive pronation. Objects: This meta-analysis identifies the effects of an anti-pronation taping technique using different materials. Methods: The electronic databases used include MEDLINE, the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Science Direct, the Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS), the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), the Korea National Library, and the Korean Medical Database (studies published up to July 31, 2019). The database search used the following keywords: "foot drop" OR "foot arch" OR "foot pronation" OR "flat foot (pes planus)" AND "taping" OR "support." Eight eligible studies were analyzed to determine the effectiveness of anti-pronation taping in study and control groups. Results: The overall random effect size (Hedges'g) of the anti-pronation taping technique was 0.147 (95% confidence interval [CI]: -.214 to .509). When the effect (Hedges' g) was compared by the type of tape material, rigid tape (RT; Lowdye taping) was .213 (95% CI: -.278 to .704) and kinesiotape (KT; arch support taping) was -.014 (95% CI: -.270 to .242). Based on this meta-analysis, it was not possible to identify the extent to which anti-pronation taping was effective in preventing navicular drop, improving balance, or changing foot pressure. Only three of the eight eligible studies applied KT on excessive pronated feet, and the outcome measure areas were different to those of the RT studies. The KT studies used EMG data, overall foot posture index (FPI) scores, and rear foot FPI scores. In contrast, the RT studies measured navicular heights, various foot angles, and foot pressure. Conclusion: This review could not find any conclusive evidence about the effectiveness of any taping method for patients with pronated feet. Future studies are needed to develop the anti-pronation taping technique based on the clinical scientific evidence.

심층면담을 통한 난임 여성의 스트레스 양상에 관한 연구 (Stress Patterns in Women with Infertility: an In-depth Interview Study)

  • Objectives: To evaluate stress patterns and coping abilities in women with infertility by conducting in-depth interviews. Methods: Ten women with infertility who visited the Korean Medicine Hospital and provided consent after being informed of the purpose and method of the study were selected after meeting the inclusion/exclusion criteria. They were requested to complete a preliminary questionnaire developed by the researchers, the Infertility Stress Scale, and the Korean version of the Fertility Problem Inventory (FPI). Subsequently, each participant was interviewed individually. Results: The preliminary questionnaire was used to evaluate sensitivity to each type of infertility-related stress and ability to express and resolve it. Among all infertility stress types, the largest proportion, accounting for an average of 47.5±26.95%, was that felt by the patient herself. Considering stress awareness intensity, the stress felt by the patient was the highest, with an average score of 4.30±0.64. Relative stress sensitivity due to infertility was the highest, with an average score of 3.90±0.94. Compared with general work stress, the average ability to relieve stress related to problems with spouses was the highest, with a score of 2.50±1.20. The average Infertility Stress Scale score was 2.88±1.35 and FPI score was 2.87±2.52. Conclusions: The highest stress scores were observed for the following items: meaning of children, need for parenthood, and stress due to the diagnosis of infertility. The lowest stress scores were allocated to the item concerning relationships with friends and co-workers. Based on the in-depth interviews conducted after the survey, stress in women with infertility may be classified as emotional, physical, and economic. Thus, the requirement for providing appropriate psychological and emotional support depending on the stress type in addition to general medical treatment for infertility treatment was confirmed.
