In this paper, the paired Hayman conjecture of different types are considered, namely, the zeros distribution of f(z)nL(g) - a(z) and g(z)nL(f) - a(z), where L(h) takes the derivatives h(k)(z) or the shift h(z+c) or the difference h(z+c)-h(z) or the delay-differential h(k)(z+c), where k is a positive integer, c is a non-zero constant and a(z) is a nonzero small function with respect to f(z) and g(z). The related uniqueness problems of complex delay-differential polynomials are also considered.
PURPOSE. Perceived color of ceramics changes by the spectral power distribution of ambient light. This study aimed to quantify the amount of shifts in color and color coordinates of clinically simulated seven all-ceramics due to the switch of three ambient light sources using a human vision simulating spectroradiometer. MATERIALS AND METHODS. CIE color coordinates, such as $L^*$, $a^*$ and $b^*$, of ceramic specimens were measured under three light sources, which simulate the CIE standard illuminant D65 (daylight), A (incandescent lamp), and F9 (fluorescent lamp). Shifts in color and color coordinate by the switch of lights were determined. Influence of the switched light (D65 to A, or D65 to F9), shade of veneer ceramics (A2 or A3), and brand of ceramics on the shifts was analyzed by a three-way ANOVA. RESULTS. Shifts in color and color coordinates were influenced by three factors (P<.05). Color shifts by the switch to A were in the range of 5.9 to 7.7 ${\Delta}E{^*}_{ab}$ units, and those by the switch to F9 were 7.7 to 10.2; all of which were unacceptable (${\Delta}E{^*}_{ab}$ > 5.5). When switched to A, CIE $a^*$ increased (${\Delta}a^*$: 5.6 to 7.6), however, CIE $b^*$ increased (${\Delta}b^*$: 4.9 to 7.8) when switched to F9. CONCLUSION. Clinically simulated ceramics demonstrated clinically unacceptable color shifts according to the switches in ambient lights based on spectroradiometric readings. Therefore, shade matching and compatibility evaluation should be performed considering ambient lighting conditions and should be done under most relevant lighting condition.
Objective: This study was carried out to assess the haplotype diversity and population dynamics in cattle populations of Ethiopia. Methods: We sequenced the complete mitochondrial cytochrome b gene of 76 animals from five indigenous and one Holstein Friesian${\times}$Barka cross bred cattle populations. Results: In the sequence analysis, 18 haplotypes were generated from 18 segregating sites and the average haplotype and nucleotide diversities were $0.7540{\pm}0.043$ and $0.0010{\pm}0.000$, respectively. The population differentiation analysis shows a weak population structure (4.55%) among the populations studied. Majority of the variation (95.45%) is observed by within populations. The overall average pair-wise distance ($F_{ST}$) was 0.049539 with the highest ($F_{ST}=0.1245$) and the lowest ($F_{ST}=0.011$) $F_{ST}$ distances observed between Boran and Abigar, and Sheko and Abigar from the indigenous cattle, respectively. The phylogenetic network analysis revealed that all the haplotypes detected clustered together with the Bos taurus cattle and converged to a haplogroup. No haplotype in Ethiopian cattle was observed clustered with the reference Bos indicus group. The mismatch distribution analysis indicates a single population expansion event among the cattle populations. Conclusion: Overall, high haplotype variability was observed among Ethiopian cattle populations and they share a common ancestor with Bos taurus.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze initial displacement and stress distribution of the maxillofacial complex during dentoskeletal maxillary protraction with various appliance designs placed on the palatal region by using three-dimensional finite element analysis. Methods: Six models of maxillary protraction were developed: conventional facemask (Type A), facemask with dentoskeletal hybrid anchorage (Type B), facemask with a palatal plate (Type C), intraoral traction using a Class III palatal plate (Type D), facemask with a palatal plate combined with rapid maxillary expansion (RME; Type E), and Class III palatal plate intraoral traction with RME (Type F). In Types A, B, C, and D, maxillary protraction alone was performed, whereas in Types E and F, transverse expansion was performed simultaneously with maxillary protraction. Results: Type C displayed the greatest amount of anterior dentoskeletal displacement in the sagittal plane. Types A and B resulted in similar amounts of anterior displacement of all the maxillofacial landmarks. Type D showed little movement, but Type E with expansion and the palatal plate displayed a larger range of movement of the maxillofacial landmarks in all directions. Conclusions: The palatal plate served as an effective skeletal anchor for use with the facemask in maxillary protraction. In contrast, the intraoral use of Class III palatal plates showed minimal skeletal and dental effects in maxillary protraction. In addition, palatal expansion with the protraction force showed minimal effect on the forward movement of the maxillary complex.
This study aimed at optimizing the manufacturing conditions of a milk beverage supplemented with coffee, and monitoring its physicochemical and sensory properties during storage. Raw milk, skim milk powder, coffee extract, and emulsifiers were used to manufacture the beverage. Two sucrose fatty acid esters, F110 and F160, were identified as suitable emulsifiers. The optimum conditions for the beverage manufacture, which can satisfy two conditions at the same time, determined by response surface methodology (RSM), were 5,000 rpm primary homogenization speed and 0.207% sucrose fatty acid emulsifier addition. The particle size and zeta-potential of the beverage under the optimum condition were 190.1 nm and $-25.94{\pm}0.06mV$, respectively. In comparison study between F110 added group (GF110) and F160 added group (GF160) during storage, all samples maintained its pH around 6.6 to 6.7, and there was no significant difference (p<0.05). In addition, GF110 showed significantly higher zeta-potential than GF160 (p<0.05). The particle size of GF110 and GF160 were approximately 190.1 and 223.1 nm, respectively at initial. However, size distribution of the GF160 tended to increase during storage. Moreover, increase of the particle size in GF160 was observed in microphotographs of it during storage. The $L^*$ values gradually decreased within all groups, whereas the $a^*$ and $b^*$ values did not show significant variations (p<0.05). Compared with GF160, bitterness, floating cream, and rancid flavor were more pronounced in the GF110. Based on the result obtained from the present study, it appears that the sucrose fatty acid ester F110 is more suitable emulsifier when it comes to manufacturing this beverage than the F160, and also contributes to extending product shelf-life.
To know whether there is any androconia on Korean Lycaenidae, studies were carried out with Korean Lycaenid butterflies for their types and distribution pattern with the aid of scanning electron microscope. As the results, androconia was observed from 8 species; Niphanda fusca (B. et G.), Pseudozizeeria maha (K.), Zizina otis (F.), Everes argiades (P.), Celasrtina argiolus (L.), Maculinea arionides (S.), M. teleius (B.) and Lycaeides argyronomon (B.). Androconia was not found only from males, and it was observed on both dorsal and ventral surfaces of fore wings and on ventral surface of hind wings. Androconia was found to be distributed mainly on the area between the median and anal venis. General structure of androconia on Korean Lycaenids was rather simple with laminar and foot stalk. However, 2 types of androconia were observed from 2 species, Pseudozizeeria maha and Everes argiades, while only one type was observed from other 6 species. The foot stalks of androconia on Niphanda fusca under the tribe Niphandini is located on the ventral surface of laminar and hidden from dorsal view, while one end of that on all other 7 species belong to the tribe Polyommatini is attached to the lower side of laminar and shown from both side.
Let G be a connected graph. A pebbling move on a graph G is the movement of taking two pebbles off from a vertex and placing one of them onto an adjacent vertex. The pebbling number f(G) of a connected graph G is the least n such that any distribution of n pebbles on the vertices of G allows one pebble to be moved to any specified, but arbitrary vertex by a sequence of pebbling moves. In this paper, the pebbling numbers of the compositions of two graphs are computed.

We investigate the rate of convergence of the distribution of the maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) of an unknown parameter in the drift coefficient of a stochastic process described by a linear stochastic differential equation driven by a fractional Brownian motion (fBm). As a special case, we obtain the rate of convergence for the case of the fractional Ornstein- Uhlenbeck type process studied recently by Kleptsyna and Le Breton (2002).
In this paper, the relativistic Vlasov-Klein-Gordon system in one dimension is investigated. This non-linear dynamics system consists of a transport equation for the distribution function combined with Klein-Gordon equation. Without any assumption of continuity or compact support of any initial particle density $f_0$, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the mild solution via the iteration method.
