The existing universities enlarged the scope, filled up the facilities. And many new universities are founded by increase of university students, the change of curriculum and extension of installations for new curriculum. However, the planning for university campus hinders desirable activities in campus and also the origin function of university, because of the problems caused by an application of a uniform planning standard that lacks in logical analysis and such a short step as the occasion demands for the growth and the change of the university campus changing more rapidly than any other field in society. This dissertation is for space program beginning from architectural explanation and basic planning concluding a general structure-planning for land utility, circulation planning, and building layout planning in order to find the practical solution for the applicable campus plan. The contents of this dissertation is summarized below. First, I studied the characteristics of the university, the structure of the university facilities and the expansion the development process of the campus. Second, through the case study of domestic campus planning, I analyzed the characteristics and the problems about space programming, facility layout planning, circulation planning and exterior space planning. Third, in the basis of the above analyses, I set up the directions of comprehensive campus master plan.

This paper presents a modelling of railway facilities and signalling system based on object-oriented software development technique to simulate multi-train movements on the complex railway network. Block and interlocking functions of signalling system is modelled using Node-Link model of railway network and signal control logic, which can be used to set the train routes and control the train movement. A brief explanation of class design about these model is provided.

The purpose of this study was to develop satisfaction scale of school toilet that was completed repair work and examine its validity. In order to develop general and scientific satisfaction scale, the data was collected and analyzed targeting 3,694 participants from seventy schools which were elementary, middle, and high schools participating in improvement projects of school toilet in 2015 and 2016. Satisfaction scale of seventeen items was developed by using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Total Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of seventeen items resulted in .950. Factor loading indicated over 0.6. Factor explanation of each item showed that was relatively high. This scale can be used to research unit school satisfaction and utilized for further research. The implication of this study was a reliable and valid instrument for measuring the satisfaction of school toilet.

The findings of the study would be valuable for the basis of marketing strategies to be implemented in the foodservice industry. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, major consumer dissatisfaction factors identified in this study can be categorized based on the followings: food, service, and facilities. It appears that most preferred medium for unsatisfied consumers to file their employees how to cope with complaints on the Internet. In terms of psychological compensation, it appears that consumers need to be provided with a through explanation in addition to a heartfelt apology against a complaint. On the physical side of compensation solution for everybody. The ideal timing of compensation for complaints can vary but it would be appropriate to leave it up to consumers to choose when they want to be rewarded.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that satisfy health services of cancer patients in university hospitals. 420 cancer patients who had visited hospitals in the capital and regional area were selected for this study. The data was collected through questionnaire survey along with a face-to-face interview from March. 21 to March. 30, 2011. This major findings of this research are as follows. First, satisfaction of cancer patients regarding health services is determined by the quality, kindness and detailed explanation of medical team. Second, health services satisfaction of cancer patients is strongly related to good convenience facilities and up-to-date medical equipments. Third, satisfaction of cancer patients regarding health services was statistically proved to have no significant relation to easy accessibility of hospital. Therefore, it is very important for university hospitals to improve quality of medical staff such as ability, kindness and detailed explanation of doctor, offer good convenience facilities and the most advanced equipments. It is expected that the outcomes of this study will contribute to the satisfaction improvement for cancer patients in university hospitals.

In general, patients' health seeking behaviours can be affected by three factors ; psychological factor, economic factor and health delivery system. This study was focused on how the psychological factor affect to health seeking behaviour influenced by the various attitude of residents toward medical resources in their community. A total of 306 households were sampled for the investigation among residents of Banwol-Eup which was an industrial city newly developed. The data has been collected by interview method using close ended questionnaire. The major findings are ; 1) the respondents' attitude toward medical institutions in their community has shown negative responses (rate of negative attitude (a) 81.3%- facilities (b) 40.7% medical expenses (c) 21.1%-kindness of employees of medical facilities (d)59.0%- the degree of thorough explanation to patient on medical examination (e) 58.2%-doctors' practical competency). Above all, they have shown negative response on doctors explanation on results of medical examination and doctors' practical competency. 2) The study indicated a significant difference in health seeking behaviour between the group of positive attitude and that of negative attitude. 3) A big difference between the above mentioned two groups was identified as the attitude toward sub dimension of practical competency.

In general, It is known that there are important concepts related with organization space of the elementary school in Japan. They are correspondence to various educational method, consideration of children's activity, consideration about use of the local residents, application of the concepts of house design, and introduction of the ecological concept and technology. But there is little report written concretely how to plan and design for above mentioned concepts and it is realty necessary to investigate about these for the future image of elementary school in Korea. For this purpose, we investigated by analyzing the plan, and the design explanation of the 84 excellent public elementary schools awarded by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology from 1988 to 2005 in Japan. As a result, we have found many examples about various spaces, methods and ideas to plan a school that is specialized and fit for a local peculiarity and user(children and local residents). The diversity of educational method and ecological concepts correspond to direction of future's society.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the characteristics of physical therapy service utilization and user satisfaction depending on the experience with therapeutic exercise or ultrasound intervention among elderly persons using senior centers. Methods: The subjects were adults aged over 60 years (total 215) recruited in 40 senior centers located in each province in South Korea. Subjects responded to questions concerning overall demographics factors, utilized characteristics of physical therapy service and 12 variety user satisfactions with effectiveness, facilities, and therapist using a survey instrument. The collected data were analyzed by Fishers' exact tests and t-tests using the SPSS 21.0 program to compare the results of elderly persons who had or had not experienced exercise therapy or ultrasound therapy. Results: The participants that experienced ultrasound therapy or therapeutic exercise reported significantly higher overall results pertaining to effectiveness of physical therapy and a clear explanation from physical therapist's satisfaction than those who were non-experienced. Satisfaction with pain relief was significantly higher among elderly who experienced therapeutic exercise than those who did not. Those who underwent ultrasound therapy showed significantly higher satisfaction with facilities and location than those who did not. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that satisfaction among users differs by type of physical therapy. In the future, physiotherapy services provided in senior centers needs to be designed to improve the effectiveness of physical therapy, professionalism of physical therapists and comfort of facility.

The purpose of this research is to understand the basic correlation between CPTED based 'Safe School Guidelines' and the physical properties of Korean elementary schools. Fundamentally, the guidelines are consisted with phrases that contain a detailed explanation of how the spaces within the school campuses should be and which aspects have to be avoided. Furthermore, the guidelines categorized among the several areas in school are grouped by CPTED elements such as 'Natural Surveillance', 'Territorial Integrity' and 'Natural Access'. The mission of the researchers was to check the applicability of these guidelines for each school samples and investigate which of the categories or subcategories have strong correlation with the current school crime rates. With these results, a new outline of CPTED guideline exclusive to Korean elementary schools will be obtained which can be applied on earlier stages for future school projects.

Recently, fluidized bed heat exchangers with circulating liquid are widely used in a number of places-chemical, process, food concentration, waste water treatment facilities, etc. In a circulating heat exchanger, solid particles circulate with the liquid, thereby increase the heat transfer and reduce the fouling potential of the heat exchanger. In this study, glass beads were circulated through a vertical tube. The pressure loss and the heat transfer coefficient were measured. At low flow velocities, glass beads enhanced the heat transfer considerably. The enhancement increased as the volume fraction of the glass beads increased. The pressure loss showed a similar trend. From the observed particle behavior near tube wall, a possible explanation of the trend is provided.
