자동 목표물 인식 시스템을 위한 클러스터 기반 투영기법과 혼합 전문가 구조 (Cluster-based Linear Projection and %ixture of Experts Model for ATR System)

  • In this paper a new feature extraction and target classification method is proposed for the recognition part of FLIR(Forwar Looking Infrared)-image-based ATR system. Proposed feature extraction method is "cluster(=set of classes)-based"version of previous fisherfaces method that is known by its robustness to illumination changes in face recognition. Expecially introduced class clustering and cluster-based projection method maximizes the performance of fisherfaces method. Proposed target image classification method is based on the mixture of experts model which consists of RBF-type experts and MLP-type gating networks. Mixture of experts model is well-suited with ATR system because it should recognizee various targets in complexed feature space by variously mixed conditions. In proposed classification method, one expert takes charge of one cluster and the separated structure with experts reduces the complexity of feature space and achieves more accurate local discrimination between classes. Proposed feature extraction and classification method showed distinguished performances in recognition test with customized. FLIR-vehicle-image database. Expecially robustness to pixelwise sensor noise and un-wanted intensity variations was verified by simulation.

작물 특성을 반영한 농가경영진단표 개발 (Development of Farm Management Diagnostic Checklist Reflecting Crop Characteristics)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a farm management diagnostic checklist form, which can be applied to any crops. First, upper indexes and subordinate indexes were identified through survey with expert, and weighted values for each subordinate index were calculated through AHP analysis. Second, as a reuslt of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis, marketing management (0.276) was found to be the most important index of all upper indexes. In the case of subordinate indexes, reflecting management evaluation (0.252) of management consciousness, quality enhancement efforts (0.332) of production management, locating new sales outlets (0.323) of marketing management, agriculture accounting (0.300) of finance management, and adjusting shipping dates (0.274) of risk management were found to be the highest. Third, the interval division using weight of farm receiving prices was higher discrimination in comparison to equal interval division of weighted values for each index. The newly developed farm management diagnostic checklist can be applied to any crops, as it utilizes indexes such as management consciousness, production management, marketing management, financial management, risk management, etc. based on professional opinions. In addition, it allows an objective evaluation of farm management situations by utilizing the weighted value of farm receiving prices.

델파이 기법을 활용한 국가지속가능발전목표(K-SDGs)의 영유아 관련 세부목표의 우선순위 분석 (Priority Analysis of Sub-goals Related to Infants and Young Children in Korean Sustainable Development Goals (K-SDGs) Using the Delphi Technique)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize sub-goals for infants and young children among the Korean Sustainable Development Goals (K-SDGs). Methods: The expert panel of this study consisted of 15 faculty members from the department of early childhood education or children's studies at 12 universities and was put together in order to conduct a Delphi survey. Results: As a result of the study, first, a total of 16 sub-goals were developed in order to target infants and young children. Second, the 16 sub-goals were then ranked according to their importance and urgency, and the most important goal were 'the improvement of mental health and prevention of drug abuse (K-SDG 3-2)'. And 'the elimination of violence and discrimination against girls (K-SDG 5-1, 5-2)', 'the safe and inclusive learning environment (K-SDG 4-8)' and 'end of abuse, trafficking, exploitation and all forms of violence against children (K-SDG 16-2)' were the next important and urgent goals. These priority objectives reflect the inviolable rights that infants and young children in Korea should be guaranteed by default. Conclusion/Implications: This study provided a basis for its effective implementation by identifying goals and priorities for infants and young children in comprehensive and interdependent K-SDGs.

An Automatic Diagnosis Method for Impact Location Estimation

  • In this paper, a real time diagnostic algorithm fur estimating the impact location by loose parts is proposed. It is composed of two modules such as the alarm discrimination module (ADM) and the impact-location estimation module(IEM). ADM decides whether the detected signal that triggers the alarm is the impact signal by loose parts or the noise signal. When the decision from ADM is concluded as the impact signal, the beginning time of burst-type signal, which the impact signal has usually such a form in time domain, provides the necessary data fur IEM. IEM by use of the arrival time method estimates the impact location of loose parts. The overall results of the estimated impact location are displayed on a computer monitor by the graphical mode and numerical data composed of the impact point, and thereby a plant operator can recognize easily the status of the impact event. This algorithm can perform the diagnosis process automatically and hence the operator's burden and the possible operator's error due to lack of expert knowledge of impact signals can be reduced remarkably. In order to validate the application of this method, the test experiment with a mock-up (flat board and reactor) system is performed. The experimental results show the efficiency of this algorithm even under high level noise and potential application to Loose Part Monitoring System (LPMS) for improving diagnosis capability in nuclear power plants.

초등정보과학영재 선발을 위한 평가문항의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Selective Test Item for the Gifted of Elementary Information Science)

  • 본 논문에서는 초등정보과학영재의 선발을 위한 평가문항을 개발하고 학교 현장에 적용한 결과를 분석하여 개발 문항의 타당도를 검증하였다. 이를 위하여 다음과 같은 단계를 통하여 연구를 진행하였다. 첫째, 다양한 측면에서 정보과학영재에 대한 특성을 분석한 후 정보과학영재를 정의하였다. 둘째, 제7차 초등수학교육과정 속의 이산수학적 요소를 분석하여 초등정보과학영재의 선발을 위한 평가문항을 개발하였다. 셋째, 개발한 평가문항을 학교현장에 투입하여 다양한 관점의 결과를 분석하였다.

노년 여성의 몸통 측면 자세에 따른 체형 판별 (Discrimination of Lateral Torso Types by Posture for Older Women)

  • This study aimed to objectively classify the lateral torso posture types and functions of older women. We used 3D body scan data of 119 women aged 70-85 years from the 6th SizeKorea project. First, we defined three torso axes to represent the lateral torso posture types: posterior waist-back, back-cervical, and whole torso axes. Next, we asked experts to select one of four lateral torso posture types-stooped, straight, leaning back, and swayback postures-by looking at the lateral photographic data of 119 older women. To identify the axis that best represented each lateral torso posture type, a discriminant analysis was conducted using the angle of each of the three torso axes as an independent variable and an expert's visual classification as a dependent variable. Based on the analysis, the whole torso and backcervical axis angles were selected as variables for judging lateral torso posture types. Subsequently, we developed a classification function to determine which of the four lateral torso posture types of a particular participant was applicable for a new individual. The method developed in this study is significant in that it enables the objective classification of the lateral torso postures types of older women.

유아용 당류섭취저감도검사 도구 개발 (The Development of Sugar Intake Reduction Test for Young Children)

  • This study was conducted to develop and validate the Sugar Intake Reduction Test (SIRT) for young children, and included eating behaviors, attitude, and nutritional knowledge about sugars. A draft version of the SIRT was developed after literature review. The final draft of the SIRT was established after two pilot tests of 5 year old children and an expert group's review, and is comprised of a one on one test between an investigator and a child using picture tools. It contained of 20 questions which included 3 components: eating behaviors (5 items), preference for sugar sweetened food (10 items), and nutritional knowledge about sugars (5 items). The final SIRT was conducted on 181 children 5 (n=100) to 6 (n=81) years old, to examine its item and test adequacies. The passing rate of most items significantly increased with increasing age, and most of the item discrimination also differed significantly between the below and upper score groups. The content validity was given a high score by professionals (mean score 3.9 out of 4). Reliability of all the items in the SIRT was high (Cronbach's ${\alpha}=0.82$). Moreover, the total component and the sub-component scores of the SIRT correlated significantly. Our results indicate that the SIRT is a valid tool to measure sugar intake reduction in young children aged 5~6 years.

인지 모델링기반 인공지능 교육 프로그램을 적용한 초등학생의 인공지능 이미지 변화 분석 (Analysis of changes in artificial intelligence image of elementary school students applying cognitive modeling-based artificial intelligence education program)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생들의 인공지능에 대한 이미지를 긍정적으로 향상시키고자 하는 인지 모델링기반 인공지능 알고리즘 교육 프로그램의 개발에 관한 것이다. 먼저 인공지능 알고리즘 중 협력필터링의 개념을 분석하고 이를 인지모델링 방법을 활용하여 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이후 전문가 타당도 검사를 통해 인지 모델링기반의 콘텐츠 개발 방법과 개발된 프로그램에 대한 적절성이 CVR .80 이상으로 타당함을 확인하였다. 개발 프로그램은 초등학교 6학년 학생들에게 수업으로 적용하였고 형용사 단어 23쌍을 이용한 의미분별법을 이용하여 사전-사후에 인공지능에 대한 학생들의 이미지 인식의 변화를 살펴보았다. 학생들의 인공지능에 대한 이미지는 총 23개 단어 쌍 중 12개에서 유의미한 긍정적 변화를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 4차 산업 혁명의 영향으로 미래 사회에 대비한 인재를 육성하기 위해 컴퓨팅 사고력을 기반으로 하는 역량 증진이 지속적으로 강조되고 있고 이에 우리나라에서도 2018년부터 SW교육을 의무로 실시하고 있다. 이에 따라 2017년부터 SW교육 역량 정의 및 진단 도구개발에 관한 연구가 진행되었으며 이때 개발된 중학생용 진단 도구를 2018년 한차례 수정 보완하여 지금까지 사용하고 있다. 이에 중학생만을 대상으로 하는 정보 교과 역량 검사를 초등학생과 고등학생을 대상까지 확대하고자 하는 현장의 요청에 의해 2019년 SW교육 선도학교 효과성 연구의 하나로 본 연구가 시작되었다. 본 연구에서는 중학생용 진단 도구를 기준으로 초등학생과 고등학생을 위한 진단 도구를 개발하고, 전문가 타당도 검증 및 예비검사를 실시한다. 예비검사를 통해 문항의 신뢰도, 변별도, 난이도 등을 분석하여 향후 초등학생과 고등학생을 대상으로 하는 검사 도구로서 가능성을 살펴볼 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

유아와 초등학교 저학년 아동을 위한 창의성 검사 도구 개발 (Development of a Creativity Test for Children from 4 to 7 years)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 유아와 초등학교 저학년 아동의 창의성을 측정할 수 있는 검사 도구를 개발하고 타당성을 검증하는 것이다. 창의성과 관련된 문헌과 전문가의 내용 타당도 검증을 통하여 47개 문항을 구성하였다. 본 연구의 결과 유아와 초등학교 저학년 아동을 위한 창의성 검사 도구는 몰입과 독립성, 사고의 확장, 호기심과 개방성 요인의 22개 문항으로 구성되었으며, 문항양호도인 문항반응분포와 문항변별도, 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도가 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발된 검사 도구는 우리나라 유아와 초등학교 저학년 아동의 창의성 정도를 간편하게 측정하는데 적절하다고 볼 수 있고, 창의성을 구성하는 인지적인 특성과 정의적인 특성을 비교적 잘 측정하고 있다고 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 유아와 초등학교 저학년 아동을 위한 창의성 검사 도구는 유아와 초등학교 저학년 아동을 연구 대상으로 하는 창의성 연구를 활발하게 진행되는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
