Ground surface changes detection using interferometric synthetic aperture radar

  • Disasters, including earthquakes and landslides, have enormous economic and social losses besides their impact on environmental disruption. Iran, and particularly its Western part, is known as an earthquake susceptible area due to numerous strong ground motions. Studying ecological changes due to climate change can improve the public and expert sector's awareness and response to future disastrous events. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data and Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) technologies are appropriate tools for modeling and surface deformation modeling. This paper proposes an efficient approach to detect ground deformation changes using Sentinel-1A. The focal point of this research is to map the ground surface deformation modeling is presented using InSAR technology over Sarpol-e Zahab on 25th November 2018 as a study case. For surface deformation modeling and detection of the ground movement due to earthquake SARPROZ in MATLAB programming language is used and discussed. Results show that there is a general ground movement due to the Sarpol-e Zahab earthquake between -7 millimeter to +18 millimeter in the study area. This research verified previous researches on the advanced image analysis techniques employed for mapping ground movement, where InSAR provides a reliable tool for assisting engineers and the decision-maker in choosing proper policies in a time of disasters. Based on the result, 574 out of 682 damaged buildings and infrastructures due to the 2017 Sarpol-e Zahab earthquake have moved from -2 to +17 mm due to the 2018 earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 Richter. Results show that mountainous areas have suffered land subsidence, where urban areas had land uplift.

  • Recently, the United States and China have declared a 25% retaliatory tariff for the partner country products of 50 billion dollar scale. "Trade war" is getting full swing. Such conflicts between economic powers may spread to Japan like the domino phenomenon following the EU (European Union) and become bigger in the global trade war. As a result, Korea has an economic system with a high degree of external dependence, and there is an expert's analysis that it will become the largest victim of the global trade war. If the WTO Dispute Settlement Authority approves this US 301 retaliation measure in the same way as the past case (US-EU hormone-treated beef imports), the United States will not import any Chinese imported products Chinese products) can be imposed. If the US launches a special 301 or super 301, which is stronger than the regular 301, then China is very likely to enforce US retaliation against it, and the trade war between the two countries could become a reality. This phenomenon is likely to have a negative impact on Korean companies. In particular, Korea, which is highly reliant on intermediate goods exports to China, is expected to suffer a great deal of damage. Therefore, Korea needs flexible response at home and abroad, it is necessary to enhance the autonomy of companies and protect export industries. Adjusting corporate tax rate as well as domestic industry height will be one way. The long-term (21 months) trade war between the United States and China has resulted in economic uncertainty. The resulting damage must be compensated. It is necessary to prepare the compensation through the economic council between countries. In the future, the punitive damage compensation system should be introduced.

클라우드 컴퓨팅 시장 확산을 위한 공급자 관점의 선결요인 (Analyzing the Challenges for Cloud Computing Business Dissemination in the Service Provider's Perspective)

  • The concept of Cloud computing has been introduced in the IT field over 10 years and industry has been expanding constantly. However, compare to the maturity of global market, Korea cloud computing industry is only in the early stage. Even the Korea has advantages in technology infrastructure; the pace of Korea cloud computing market growth is taking a serious downturn. Under these circumstances, it is needed to be discussing that strategy for expanding the cloud computing market size and for sustaining global competitiveness of local companies. Previous studies on plans for Korea cloud computing market has been conducted since 2009 and most of them are tend to examined in demand perspective. Thus, this study aims at identifying the priority of business challenges for making better performance in the market with service provider aspects. To analyze the important factors in the providing cloud computing service, ANP methodology was applied in this study. The network model including five clusters, security, stability, performance, consumer, and institution, was defined through literature review and expert survey was conducted to collect data. As a result of ANP analysis, 'Securing service reliability' was analyzed as the most important factor and followed by 'Preparing the range of legal liability', 'Preventing personal information leakage' and 'Preventing confidential information data leakage.' The priority of result indicates that service provider needs to focus on to make the secured service environment. This study has significance on analyzing the priority of business challenges in the service provider perspective. This study will provide useful guidelines to for establishing strategies in cloud computing market.

  • Thailand had set the National Water Management Strategy which covered main six areas in the next 12 years, i.e., by priority: (1) water for household, (2) water for agricultural and industrial production, (3) water for flood and drought management, (4) water for quality issue, (5) water from forest conservation and soil erosion protection, (6) water resources management. However due to the climate change impact, there is a question for all strategies is whether to complete this mission under future climate change. If the impact affects our target, we have to clarify how to mitigate or to adapt with it. Vulnerability assessment was conducted under the framework of ADB's (with the parameters of exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity) and the assessments were classified into groups due to their different characteristic and the framework of the National Water Management Strategy, i.e., water supply (rural and urban), water for development (agriculture and others), water disasters (floods (flash, overflow), drought, water quality). The assessments identified the parameters concerned and weight factors used for each groups via expert group discussions and by using GIS mapping technology, the vulnerability maps were produced. The maps were verified with present water situation data (floods, drought, water quality). From the analysis result of this water resources management strategy, we found that 30% of all projects face the big impacts, 40% with low impact, and 30% for no impact. It is clear that water-related agencies have to carefully take care approximately 70% of future projects to meet water resources management strategy. It is recommended that additional issues should be addressed to mitigate the impact from climate risk on water resource management of the country, i.e., water resources management under new risk based on development scenarios, relationship with area-based problems, priority definition by viewpoints of risk, vulnerability (impact and occurrence probability in past and future), water management system in emergency case and water reserve system, use of information, knowledge and technology in management, network cooperation and exchange of experiences, knowledge, technique for sustainable development with mitigation and adaptation, education and communication systems in risk, new impact, and emergency-reserve system. These issues will be described and discussed.

  • 싸이월드와 아이러브스쿨 같은 소셜 미디어가 한국사회에서 실패한 요인을 찾기 위해 계층 모델의 관점에서 전문가 인터뷰를 분석했다. 이용자 측면, 매체적 측면, 조직적 측면에서 성공 요인을 찾은 결과, 연결을 통한 소셜 관계를 충족시키고, 이용자 맞춤형 콘텐츠를 제공하고, 소셜 미디어 서비스를 선점한 미디어가 성공했다. 페이스북과 카카오톡이 대표적인 소셜 미디어라고 할 수 있다. 실패한 요인으로는 이용자의 취향이나 욕구를 외면하고, 메시지를 공유하는 플랫폼으로서의 확장에 한계가 있고, 급변한 커뮤니케이션 환경에 대응하지 못한 것을 지적했다. 대표적인 서비스로 아이러브스쿨, 싸이월드, 트위터가 있다. 인터뷰를 통해 소셜 미디어가 생존하려면 환경 변화에 민감해야 한다는 것을 밝혔다. 전문가들은 4차 산업혁명 시대 AI, 빅데이터를 접목한 서비스를 제공하는 등 지속적으로 변화해야 한다는 제안을 했다.

음성신호를 이용한 기계학습 기반 피로도 분류 모델 (Fatigue Classification Model Based On Machine Learning Using Speech Signals)

  • 피로는 개인의 능력을 저하되게 하여 업무 수행을 어렵게 하며, 피로가 누적되면 집중력이 저하되어 안전사고를 초래할 가능성이 증가하게 된다. 피로에 대한 자각은 주관적이나, 실제 현장에서는 피로의 수준을 정량적으로 측정할 필요가 있다. 기존 연구에서 피로 수준은 다원적 피로 척도와 같은 주관적 평가에, 생체신호 분석 등의 객관적지표를 추가하여 전문가의 판단으로 측정하는 방식이 제안되었으나, 이러한 방법은 일상생활에서 실시간으로 피로도를 평가하기 어렵다. 본 논문은 현장에서 녹음한 음성 데이터를 이용하여 실시간으로 작업자의 피로 수준을 판정하는 피로도 분류 모델에 관한 연구이다. 현장에서 수집한 음성 데이터를 이용하여 로지스틱 분류, 서포트 벡터 머신, 랜덤 포레스트 등의 기계학습 모델을 학습시킨다. 성능을 평가한 결과, 정확도가 0.677 ~ 0.758로 우수한 성능을 보여주었고, 이 중에서 로지스틱 분류가 가장 우수한 성능을 나타냈다. 실험 결과로부터 음성신호를 이용하여 피로도를 분류하는 것이 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 다양한 플랫폼에 나타나고 있는 네이티브 광고의 표현과 형식에 대한 문제점을 살펴보고 이를 규제할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 광고 실무 담당자들에게 심층 면접을 실시하여 이를 살펴보았다. 첫 번째 네이티브 광고의 표현과 형식에 대한 문제점으로 다양한 플랫폼에 나타나고 있는 무분별한 네이티브 광고에 대한 혼잡성과 기만성으로 인해 소비자들에게 부정적인 인식을 가져올 수 있다고 보았다. 두 번째 이용자들의 상호작용을 위해 플랫폼별 타겟팅을 통한 맞춤형 광고 표현이 제작되어야 할 것이라고 보았다. 세 번째 네이티브 광고에 대한 규제와 관련하여 소비자 보호를 위한 규제방안이 마련되어야 한다는 의견과 시장 자율에 맡겨야 한다는 의견을 제시하였다. 다양한 플랫폼에 따른 네이티브 광고의 전략적인 운영방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 코로나19 팬대믹 이후 외국인 환자의 급감으로 심각하게 타격을 입은 국내 의료관광 산업 회복을 위한 방안을 모색하고자 연구하게 되었다. 전문가 패널 에게 순위별 키워드 자문을 구하여 Kendall의 W검증을 사용하였다. 연구의 결론은 외국인 환자를 유치하는 기관은 중증 외국인 환자 치료 확대로 위기상황을 기회로 바꾸는 계기가 필요하겠다. 또한 가상, 증강현실을 통해 해외 방문이 어려운 상황에서 병원에 대한 친숙함과 신뢰를 얻을 수 있고 언택트 시대에 감염의 위험을 막고 환자를 보호 할 수 있는 원격지료 서비스를 시행함으로써 국내 입국을 하지 않고도 현지에서 의료의 혜택을 누릴 수 있다고 하겠다. 그리고 블록체인은 환자의 정보 보완을 유지하며 안전하게 공유가 가능하고 가상화폐 등을 활용한 지불 수단을 이용해 고객의 불편함을 최소화 할 수 있고 마지막으로 스마트 헬스 케어는 장소와 관계없이 환자를 관리하고 정보를 제공 할 수 있다.

COMPOSITION OF A UNIFIED MODEL ACCORDING TO THE STRUCTURE OF QUALIFICATION TYPES OF LIFELONG EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS FOR THE DISABLED: A BASIC STUDY ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CONVERGENCE MAJOR IN DAEGU UNIVERSITY

  • This study was conducted with the aim of constructing a unified model according to the structure of qualification types of lifelong education professionals for the disabled. The research method consisted of procedures in which literature analysis and expert meetings were constructed in connection with each other. The contents of the study were suggested from the classification of qualification types into professional teacher type and coordinator type by focusing on special education and rehabilitation, which are related convergence fields that affect the qualification training of lifelong education professionals for the disabled. The two convergence fields, such as special education and rehabilitation welfare, lead to a separate application base from the perspective of education and welfare for the qualification of lifelong education professionals for the disabled, and finally confusion and conflict in the nature and contents of the curriculum and related services. A dichotomy structure system in which this phenomenon results in a divided type of qualification training for lifelong education professionals with disabilities was composed of several samples. In this regard, the curriculum and related services that can build convergence fields related to lifelong education for the disabled were reflected in the context of priority through the criteria that should be emphasized from the standpoint of the disabled in the overall category of establishing lifelong education support system for the disabled. In addition, by forming four qualification criteria centering on this, the common convergence field was composed of special education, thereby enhancing the aspect of inclusion in the rehabilitation welfare field and specific convergence into lifelong education for the disabled. As a result, the two qualification types were unified.

한국어판 간호대학생의 인공지능에 대한 태도 측정도구 신뢰도 및 타당도 검증 (The validity and reliability of the Korean version of the General Attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence Scale for nursing students)

  • Purpose: The aim of the study was to verify the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the General Attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence Scale (GAAIS-K) for nursing students. Methods: Data from 235 participants were collected from April 12 to April 26, 2022. A total of 230 participants' data were analyzed. The data were analyzed for content, discriminant, known-groups, and construct validity using content validity index, correlation coefficient, and confirmatory factor analyses. The reliability of the GAAIS-K was examined using internal consistency and test-retest analyses. Results: The expert-rated content validity index was ≥.80. The sub-scales of the GAAIS-K were moderately correlated with attitude toward accepting technology, indicative of its discriminant validity. The male students' positive attitude score was significantly higher than that of the female students, satisfying the known-groups validity. Cronbach's α for the scale was .86 (positive) and .74 (negative), and the intra-class correlation coefficient for the two-week test-retest reliability was .86 (positive) and .60 (negative). The scores for positive and negative attitudes were 3.68±0.46 and 3.05±0.55. Conclusion: This study shows that the GAAIS-K is a valid and reliable instrument for assessing nursing students. Additional research is recommended to continue the evaluation of the GAAIS-K with a focus on healthcare settings.
