소리굽쇠 수정발진기의 크기에 따른 전기적인 특성변화에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Investigation of Size Dependent Electrical Parameters of Tuning Fork Crystal Oscillators)

  • We performed frequency response measurements of four tuning fork crystal oscillators with different sizes and analyzed their measured electrical equivalent circuit parameters of R, L, $C_S$, and $C_P$ as functions of the linear dimensions, length, width, and thickness. We observed that R and L showed an decreasing behavior with increasing length while $C_S$, and $C_P$ showed an increasing behavior. Similar dependences of the electrical parameters on thickness were also observed. On the contrary, any noticeable dependence of these parameters on width has not been found.

  • Controlling the process by PID controller is widely used in industry by applying Ziegler-Nichols method in analyzing parameter of the controller. However, in fact. it is still necessary to tune parameter in order to obtain the best process response. This paper presents a Self-Tuning PID controller utilizes the personal computer to synthesize and analyze controller parameter as well as tune for appropriate parameter by using Dahlin method and Extrapolation. Experimental results using a Self-Tuning PID controller to control water level and temperature, it is found that the controller being developed is able to control the process very effectively and provides a good response similar to the controller used in the industry.

  • Switched reluctance motor generally operates in the magnetically saturated region because the saturation gives several benefits to its performance. This paper investigates the modelling and fuzzy tuning PI control of a nonlinear switched reluctance motor. The modelling is performed through neural network technique. Fuzzy auto-tuning PI control is designed for a robust performance in load and speed variations. Simulation and experimental results indicate better performances compared with simple PI control.

  • This paper presents an optimal tuning method for Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) of current controller for HVDC using Genetic Algorithm(GA). GA is probabilistic search method based on genetics and evolution theory. The scaling factors of FLC are tuned by using real-time GA. The proposed tuning method is applied to the scaled-down HVDC simulator at Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute(KERI). Experimental result shows that disturbances are well-damped and the dynamic performances of FLC have the better responses than those of PI controller for small and large disturbances such as ULTC tap change, reference DC current change and DC ground fault.

  • This paper describes the application of a fuzzy-tuning PID controller to a 3-DOF attitude control of a small model helicopter in hover for the compensation of coupling effects between each axis and system uncertainties due to the variation of engine RPM. A Low-level PID controller is designed by Ziegler-Nichols method and its gains are tuned by a high-level fuzzy system based on error states and its time derivatives. The experimental results show that the attitude control performance of fuzzy-tuning PID controller is improved comparing with that of a Ziegler-Nichols PID controller and fuzzy controller.

  • 본 논문에서는 종단판 프로브와 동조 포스트가 포함된 동축선 대 캐비티 필터의 특성을 3차원의 시간영역 유한차분(3-D FDTD) 방법에 의해서 계산하였다. 이 필터는 캐비티 안으로 삽입된 동축선의 내부도체가 복사체 역학을 하며, 사각혀 ㅇ동조 포스트의 높이에 의해서 공진주파수를 결정하게 되는 구조이다. 이러한 필터 특성의 계산값과 실제 제작된 필터의 측정값을 비교하여 이 해석 방법의 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper proposes a design of self-tuning fuzzy rules and membership functions based on genetic algorithms. Sub-optimal fuzzy rules and membership functions are found by using genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithms are used for tuning fuzzy rules and membership functions. A arbitrary speed trajectories are selected for the reference input of the proposed methods. Experimental results show the good performance in the DC motor control system with the self-tuning fuzzy controller based on genetic algorithms.

  • In this paper, robust control method using fuzzy PI parameter tuning is proposed to control constant thrust force on load variation. First, a structure and thrust force equations of the LPM are described. Second, an controller with PI parameter-tuning using a fuzzy theory is proposed to achieve high-precision position with constant thrust force of the LPM. Finally, the effectiveness of an fuzzy PI controller is demonstrated by some simulated and experimental results. Accurate tracking response and superior dynamic performance can be obtained due to the powerful on-line Fuzzy PI gain tuning method with regard parametric variations and load thrust force variations.

  • In this paper, the hybrid-type current controller for inverter TIG systems was implemented and it was shown that the low-current pulse wave forms with high dynamic performance could be obtained. It is not sri easy to obtain the optimum gain tuning of PID controllers in digital PWM control methods. Hybrid control methods which uses automatic tuning techniques after adding fuzzy control methods to traditional PID controllers are chosen to improve the dynamic performance of PID controller's. To demonstrate the practical significance and dynamic performance improvement of the results, some simulation and experimental results are presented.

The paper introduces simulation and experimental results for control of a helicopter training simulator by self tuning control method.
