  • Today, 'Emotion' has come to stay as a powerful culture code. Though there has been not a few research results based on the recognition of the importance of emotion, the concept of 'Emotion' still differs according not only to researchers but also to the fields. There firstly lies the aim of this study to research the moaning and feature of 'Emotion' through John Dewey's Theory of Experience. Secondly, this study tries to categorize the strata of emotion in space, and further tries to present the methodology for the study of emotion shown in the space. Emotion is the impulse corresponding to the root force drawing out indefinite situations into the context of the problem, and is also the force which integrates all the elements in the process of reflective correlation. Emotion can be referred to as the activating and combining force which makes it possible for the separate elements to be related to the whole as one, and as the feature forming the completion of the transaction between organisms and environment.

  • The theory-the doctrine of Confucius and Mencius was an objective existance in Chinese dietary culture history, but it was ignored in the last two thousand years. In addition, some people misunderstood Confucius' and Mencius' thoughts and statements. This paper believes that the doctrine of Confucius and Mencius is Confucius' and Mencius' diet opinions, thoughts, theories and basic style in their diet experiences. Confucius' diet experience and Mencius' diet experience were alike, and Mencius' experience carried on Confuius' and theirs were the same in some sections. They all stay their diet standard to their stomach and don't persue good meal. They all thought resolving people's diet was important for a country and for the politic problems. Mencius succeeded Confucius' diet thoughts and put them to the theories-diet principle, diet standard, and diet morality. This paper deeply discusses theory, developing history condition and the affection and position in Chinese diet history of the doctrine of Confucius and Mencius.

  • The Affordance, discussed in the theory of ecological perception of environmental psychology, is the concept of perception that deals with inter-relationship between environment and human. It is a theory seeking for gradual evolution, with the change of user experience behavior and the space, by getting feed-backs from the analysis of perception of characteristics of 3-dimensional space and the user as moving entity. Although there has been many attempts to define the Affordance and apply its concept to the architecture, now there's a need to identify the Affordance in the real architectural space, represent Affordance of space and the user inter-relationship in the architecture and apply its design specifically, Thus, the purpose of this study is to present the methodology of applying Affordance in architectural space design by identifying the Affordance of space concept of human experience behavior in the architectural space and analyze its recognition process.

  • For decades, thousands of corporation introduced knowledge management systems to respond knowledge-based society. However, it seems that the systems merely focusing on knowledge accumulation and its sharing have been bounded by many restrictions in terms of new knowledge creation based on the life cycle of knowledge management systems. Moreover, recently, a variety of knowledge management activities regarding organization, systems, and process is emphasized as a strategic asset for a corporation to create core knowledge. Therefore, this study adopted the Csikszentmihalyi's flow theory to investigate the factors affecting knowledge creation and the success factors of knowledge management systems in virtual space. Prior studies argued that flow experience should be a prerequisite for creative knowledge creation. In that vein, this research revealed the causal relationships for flow experience between the determinants of clear goal, immediate feedback, congruence of challenge and skill. Additionally, it empirically examined how flow experience affected the exploratory behavior of knowledge creation.

  • In this study, we investigated the repeated vist of the e-village shopping mall as an online agricultural business platform. We applied Pine and Gilmore (1998) theory for the e-village website information systems. We hypothesized that 4 dimensions such as entertainment experience, educational experience, esthetic experience, and escapist experience toward satisfaction and, moreover, we investigated the moderating trust effect of satisfaction and repeated visit website. We set those independent variables (entertainment experience, educational experience, esthetic experience, and escapist experience) and dependent variable as experience satisfaction. The results indicated that the 4 experiences factors had a positive effect on the experiential satisfaction, and the trust moderating effect has a negative effection between the experiential satisfaction and the repeated visit. The experiential satisfaction had a positive effect on the repeated visit of e-village websites.

  • The aim of this paper is to put forward the significance that Dewey's naturalistic theory of value has today in examining how value arises from experience. This is a necessary discussion as logical-positivists bring about the problem of fact/value dichotomy and further deny the possibility of intellectual discussion on value judgments. In this situation, the task that the discussion on value must be resolved is to go beyond the problem of fact/value dichotomy and to confer objectivity upon value judgments. In the stream of analytic philosophy, the significance of Dewey's theory of value is revealed by how Putnam and Johnson receive it. To overcome the problem of dichotomy, Putnam asserts that they are entangled because the value arises from a criticism through scientific inquiry. Also Johnson proves that Dewey's moral deliberation as valuation is wedded with cognition, feeling, and imagination by the research on cognitive science and shows that Dewey's theory of value is un-relativistic because it is on the basis of shared experience. So, if the absolute value is not given to us, Dewey's theory of value shows us how value is made by open inquiry. It has the significance of proposing the direction that the theory of value orients itself today.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine gender differences in the impact of exposure to peer delinquency among elementary school-age students and the mediating effects of aggression. The study utilized 458 cases (220 male students, 238 female students) of data from the 2015 Korea Welfare Panel Study (KoWePS) conducted by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA). The theoretical frameworks used in this study included Bandura's social learning theory, Akers' social learning theory, and Sutherland's differential association theory. The findings were as follows. First, there was no statistically significant effect on peer group's delinquency experience overall, aggression, and delinquency experience by gender. Second, male students' delinquency experience of their peer group had a statistically significant effect on their delinquency, however, this was not true for female students. Third, in the case of male students, aggression was found to mediate the relationship between peer group delinquency experience and their own delinquency, but not for female students. From these findings, we suggest a practical and policy-driven intervention plan, focusing on reducing the contact frequency of delinquency experience and aggression, The purpose of this study was to examine gender differences in the impact of exposure to peer delinquency among elementary school-age students and the mediating effects of aggression.
