Experience API provides a learner-centered model for learning data collection and learning process recording. In particular, it can record learning data from multiple data sources. Therefore, Experience API provides very good support for ubiquitous learning. In this paper, we put forward the architecture of ubiquitous learning system and the method of reading the learning record from the ubiquitous learning system. We analyze students' learning behavior from two aspects: horizontal and vertical, and give the analysis results. The system can provide personalized suggestions for learners according to the results of learning analysis. According to the feedback from learners, we can see that this u-learning system can greatly improve learning interest and quality of learners.

Biometrics is one of promising future technologies within personal identification area, and its application stretches to other variety industry site. Therefore it is necessary to test whether these products are implemented in conformance withe the BioAPI international standard specification. This paper presents the specific construction and application examples of BioAPI v2.0 conformance test suite according to the method described in ISO/IEC 24709. The problems and experience that have been discovered in the construction are described. Three BSP products claiming conformance to BioAPI was tested by proposed the test methodology and tools.

Among location-based systems, a route search service is very highly utilized as a representative technique, but it provides relatively low accuracy when we find a route path on foot in our real environment. In this paper, we design and implement an optimized route search technique based on user experience utilizing open APIs as location-based services. Finally, we develop an Android-based application to provide this feature. In our experiment, we found that our technique enhanced performance by about 14-36% compared to previous solutions, such as route path searches using map APIs. In addition, the performance of our technique can be further enhanced, as the number of users who find such optimized route path is increasing.

Corrosion assessment has a number of uses but the use considered here is as a precursor to Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) planning. Systematic methods consisting of technical modules of RBI program were used to assess the effect of specific corrosion mechanism on the probability of failure in equipments of petrochemical plants. Especially in part of the damage and corrosion assessment, screening step involved evaluating the combinations of process conditions and construction materials for each equipment item in order to determine which damage mechanisms are potentially active. For general internal corrosion, either API 510 or API 570 was applied as the damage rate in the calculation to determine the remaining life and inspection frequency. In some cases, a measured rate of corrosion may not be available. The technical modules of RBI program employ default values for corrosion, typically derived from published data or from experience with similar processes, for use until inspection results are available. This paper describes the case study of corrosion and damage assessment by using RBI methodology in petrochemical plant. Specifically, this paper reports the methodology and the results of its application to the petrochemical units using the $KGS-RBI^{TM}$ program, developed by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation to suit Korean situation in conformity with API 581 Codes.

네트워크 구축 시 방화벽 설치에 대한 어려움이 있으며, 이를 운용하기에 막대한 비용이 요구된다. 개인용 컴퓨터에 홈 네트워크 방화벽을 구축하기에는 경제적으로 많은 부담이 된다. 이러한 경제적 부담에 의해 각 가정에 대해 방화벽을 구축하지 않고 개인용 PC들은 기업용 방화벽을 적용해서 방화벽 내부 해킹에 대해서 많은 문제점이 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 API 후킹 모듈을 이용한 개인 방화벽 운용에 관한 것으로 휴대용 저장장치에 쓰기 및 삭제가 불가한 영역을 형성하였다. 그리고 해당 영역으로 API 후킹을 위한 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 개인용 컴퓨터에 방화벽 설치 및 활용이 손쉽게 이루어져 사용 편의성을 증대시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

최근 스마트폰 어플리케이션 시장은 급속히 성장하고 있고, 사용자들은 향상된 스마트폰의 기능을 이용하여 다양하고도 풍부한 사용 경험을 원하고 있지만 스마트폰 어플리케이션의 개발은 쉬운 작업이 아니다. 각종 스마트폰 센서들을 컨트롤하기 위해서는 각각의 스마트폰 OS에 맞는 네이티브 프로그래밍 언어를 전문적으로 사용할 수 있어야 하며, 더구나 개발 프로세스는 각 스마트폰 OS에 따라 별도의 작업으로 이루어져야만 한다. 웹 공통 API를 이용하는 웹기반의 스마트폰 응용 (일명, '웹앱') 개발 방법은 이와 같은 문제를 해결할 수 있게 해준다. 그것은 웹 언어인 HTML로 인터페이스를 구현하고 자바스크립트로 웹 공통 API를 호출하여 각 스마트폰의 디바이스 API에 접근할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 공통 API를 이용한 편리하면서도 OS 독립적인 스마트폰 웹앱(WebApp) 개발 방법을 사용하여 스마트폰 전자책 응용을 구현한 경험을 소개한다.

국가기관과 기업은 정비사를 양성을 위한 고등학교부터 대학교, 기업 훈련센터 같은 교육기관을 만들어 숙련된 정비사로 훈련시키려고 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 하지만 교재를 이용한 이론교육과 현장에서 사용하지 않는 장비를 이용한 실습교육으로는 제대로 된 정비교육을 진행하지 못하며 특수장비를 활용한 교육이나 위험한 상황을 가정한 정비의 교육은 매우 위험하여 영상이나 사진으로 교육을 진행하고 있었다. 최근에는 VR과 AR을 접목하여 단순정비에서 특수정비까지 시뮬레이션으로 안전하게 상황을 체험하고 문제를 해결하는 효과적인 교육 시뮬레이션이 연구되고 개발되는 사례가 많이 있다. 본 논문에서는 다누리 VR과 DisTi Engine, Remote AR을 비교분석하고, 유니티 엔진 기반으로 외부에서 전달된 정보를 기반으로 콘텐츠를 디바이스 화면에 최적화하여 출력하는 AR API를 소개하고, VR 디바이스인 HTC Vive의 컨트롤러와 HMD의 정보를 실시간으로 수집하고 수집된 정보를 파일에 저장하는 VR API를 구현한 사례를 소개했다. 본 연구에서 구현한 API를 사용하면 콘텐츠를 제작할 때 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

최근 들어 도시의 변두리 휴경지를 이용하여 가족과 함께 취미로 원예나 정원 가꾸기를 즐기는 여가 트렌드가 확산되고 있다. 자연에서 직접 체험하고 가족의 유대관계를 강화시킬 수 있는 주말농장이 인기를 끌고 있다. 그러나 분양 절차가 까다로우며 많은 정보가 필요하기 때문에 이용하는데 어려움이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 애플리케이션으로 공공 API를 이용한 농장 분양 및 학습 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 주말농장을 쉽게 분양받고 관리할 수 있도록 분양 중인 농장 정보를 제공한다. 또한 쉬운 인터페이스를 통해 농장을 가꾸면서 기록할 수 있는 게시판, 앨범, 일정관리 기능을 제공한다. 더불어 농장체험에 대한 아이들의 관심을 높일 수 있는 놀이 기능을 제공하여 아이들의 학습 능력을 향상시키고 가족들의 주말 농장에 대한 참여도를 높이는 것을 목적으로 한다.

Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) clouds provide infrastructure as a pool of virtual resources, and the public IaaS clouds, e.g. Amazon Web Service (AWS) and private IaaS cloud toolkits, e.g. OpenStack, CloudStack, etc. provide their own application programming interfaces (APIs) for managing the cloud resources they offer. The heterogeneity of the APIs, however, makes it difficult to access and use the multiple cloud services concurrently and collectively. In this paper, we explore previous efforts to solve this problem and present our own implementation of an integrated cloud API, which can make it possible to access and use multiple clouds collectively in a uniform way. The implemented API provides a RESTful access and hides underlying cloud infrastructures from users or applications. We show the implementation details of the integrated API and performance evaluation of it comparing the proprietary APIs based on our cloud testbed. From the evaluation results, we could conclude that the overhead imposed by our interface is negligibly small and can be successfully used for multi-cloud access.

In this paper, we performed the customization of CAE analysis in the process of product development and verification. The purpose of customized analysis is to implement collaboration framework of inter-corporate, inter-division for knowledge process based on product development. Customized analysis methodology using ANSYS Workbench API is presented for the web-based and workbench-based application. Cellular phone was selected as a CAD model, and template based process of analysis is conducted. By using this system, customized analysis is suitable to site or user oriented specific analysis and for user who has little experience on CAE analysis.
