기존 지하철 터널 운영 중 대피선 건설 시공 리스크 분석 (Risk analysis for sidetrack construction during subway tunnel operation)

  • 증가하는 도심지 전철 급행화의 요구에 따라, 완행과 급행철도를 동시에 운영할 수 있도록 하는 부본선의 건설이 필요하다. 그러나 기존 대피선 설치 방안은 열차의 운행을 차단한다는 점에서 긴 공사기간이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 막대한 경제적 손실을 발생시키는 문제점이 있다. 이를 개선하고자 기존 지하철 터널 운영 중이라는 특수한 상황에서의 대피선 설치 방안 연구가 필요하며 대피선 건설방안 적용에 따른 시공 리스크 분석 또한 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지하철 4호선 과천정부청사역을 가상의 대피선 건설 대상역으로 선정하여 최적의 대피선 건설방안을 도출하였으며, 기존 지하철 터널운영 중 대피선 건설 예비 설계단계 시 발생 가능한 리스크 사건에 대한 리스크 식별 및 대응계획 수립, 리스크 평가, 리스크 통제 및 관리의 일련의 리스크 관리 프로세스를 수행하였다. 총 8가지의 발생 가능한 리스크 사건과 리스크 저감 대책을 선정하였으며 5단계의 리스크 사건 발생확률 및 영향도 기준을 활용한 리스크 평가 매트릭스를 구축하여 리스크 및 잔류 리스크 평가를 수행하였다. 리스크 평가 결과를 바탕으로 각 리스크 사건의 평가 점수와 리스크 저감 대책공법의 저감효과를 확인하였다.

  • Light Rail Vehicle(LRT) is "New Transit System" that has transportation capacity as well as physical size of vehicle is in-between bus and subway. The demand of LRT system is increasing rapidly; both domestically and internationally. Reason being is that it is more economical and eco-friendly compare to existing heavy rail vehicle. Especially, Busan Subway Line 4 K-AGT (Rubber-tired LRT) being the first of its kind to start revenue service in Korea, it is very much likely that application of its demand will continue to increase. Considering its trend, study to reduce implementation cost of LRT is being pursued in many different aspects; reducing construction cost is one that aspect. In this study, on-site application of 'Up-Down Turnout System' implementation research has been carried out which can replace existing 'Left-Right Turnout System'. When safety of its type gets verified, application of this system to line which intends to use K-AGT, Shin-Lim Line and Dong-Book Line, expects to save its construction cost. This thesis paper reports ongoing research of AGT 'Up-Down Turnout System' development and main component design factors, fundamental principle, performance test result.

  • Promote competition in local government and the construction of a subway construction in the vicious cycle of debt due to the operating deficit as a greater burden on local finances was leave. This government policy of public transport in the center of the metro construction costs affordable and to respond appropriately to public transport demand new transit LRT(Light rail Transit) by introducing the current Busan was the opening of Line 4, yongin line, Busan - Gimhae line, parliamentary and barge construction or ready for the opening. What is light rail, compared to the existing subway and cheaper construction cost, the existing road or bridge that runs along the track is installed, etc. Manless system construction cost and operating expenses as a possible new railway transportation has been a leading state-of-the-art mad. However, the domestic business system engineering of light rail-related companies in the developed countries are doing to advance to the national to the local engineering skills of the self-free, hurry will have to be secured. Therefore, this paper applies local light rail project on the status of the systems engineering analysis and based on this source of the latest engineering technology-intensive systems engineering to provide direction to the development of technology.

  • 지하공간에서의 재난은 많은 인명피해를 가져오고 있어서 지하공간에 대한 위험성평가는 인명피해를 최소화할 수 있는 방안으로 우선되어야 한다. 특히 지하철 역사에서의 피난동선과 연기의 이동경로가 동일하여 발생되는 피해를 최소화하기 위한 수직개구부상의 제연경계벽 설치연구는 필수적이며, 화재시뮬레이션을 통한 평가를 통하여 그 효용성을 분석한 결과 연기제어와 피난여유시간을 확보하고 기존 역사에 설치된 제연설비와의 연계된 작동시 많은 효과가 있을 것으로 확인되었다. 이를 통하여 일부 수도권 지하철 역사에는 수직개구부에 제연경계벽을 설치하였고, 계속적으로 위험성평가를 통한 분석을 진행하고 있다.

  • Current subway station's office employee must perform safety management tasks by monitoring the various safety management systems. But these monitoring systems are limited in effective situational awareness and response to a state of emergency immediately. It is necessary to develop an integrated safety management system display. In this study, we developed subway station safety management system's (CCTV, fire detection & alarm system, screen door control equipment) integrated prototype display with ecological interface design framework and evaluated prototype display interface's usability with GOMS model. The result was that the ecological interface's performance was better than existing safety management system's interface.

  • Management of indoor air quality of underground subway station is an important issue. The air handling unit (AHU) installed in the underground subway station is the main facility determining the air quality of station. Especially for removing particulate matters, it is important to operate the appropriate air filter. However, there is no quantitative test method for existing air filter in site. It is rarely known that the collection efficiency of air filter can satisfy the designed criteria or not. In this study, we set the reference method using the mini-volume air sampler inside the AHU to evaluate the collection efficiency of different types of air filters. In addition, we applied the portable instrument based on the light-scattering method to the efficiency test. The method we applied in this study can be used in the evaluation of air filter in site.

서울시지하철공사 경영혁신을 위한 인력운영 개선방안 (Personal Management Strategies for the Financial Improvement of Seoul Metropolitan Subway Corporation)

  • The purpose of this study is to reduce the number of employees hired by Seoul Metropolitan Subway Corporation(SMSC) as a way of responding to deteriorating financial deficit problem. For the reduction, the personnel structure of Seoul Metro Rapid Transit Subway(SMRTS) newly founded in 1995 is benchmarked. Several assumptions are set for seeking the persuasive alternative; 1) no compulsory reduction of existing personnel, 2) raising the salary of SMSC to the same level of SMRTS for compensating intensified work burden, 3) hiring new employees to the amount of one-third of the reduced workforce for minimizing the problems associated with the reduction. The study suggests that the personnel reduction in relevant parts be planned in the following ways; 1) passenger transport part: from daily 3 shifts of 4 group to 2 shifts of 3 group, 2) fleet inspection, civil d: electric engineering, railtrack maintenance, signal parts: from 12 day-off to 10day-off, 3) architecture, AFC parts: from 2 shifts of 3 group to daily work, 4) fleet maintenance, architecture parts: expanding out-sourcing & automation, and 5) headquarter part: 10% reduction of the total of office workers. The study finds, by implementing the plan, that 1,270 employee can be reduced, and that aggregate 106.8 billion won will be saved for the next 10 years.

  • COVID-19로 인해 사람들은 외출과 모임 자제로 온라인 쇼핑, 온라인 여행, 화상회의 등 새로운 라이프 스타일을 구축하고 있다. 이러한 급격한 사회의 변화는 새로운 문제들을 야기시킴과 동시에 기존의 문제들을 심화시키고 있다. 특히 온라인 소비가 크게 증가함에 따라 생활물류산업에서는 교통체증, 대기오염, 배송기사의 과중한 업무 등이 심화되고 있으며 대면배송이 새로운 문제점으로 나타나고 있다. 4차 산업혁명의 등장으로 드론에 인공지능, 자율주행 등을 활용한 무인 배달이 기존 생활물류산업의 대체산업으로 떠오르고 있으나 드론의 비행에 따른 물류시설의 공간과 추가적인 물류부지 확보가 해결되어야 하는 새로운 문제점으로 나타난다. 따라서, 기존의 문제들과 새롭게 생겨난 문제들을 해소할 수 있는 드론을 위한 물류시설의 공간으로 기존 운수 사업인 지하철을 활용하여 물류 이동과 보관, 배송 등과 같은 부가적인 서비스를 연계하고자 한다.

서울시 지하철 2호선 본선구간의 입자상물질 농도 특성 및 미세분진의 오염지도 개발 (Characterizing Par ticle Matter on the Main Section of the Seoul Subway Line-2 and Developing Fine Particle Pollution Map)

  • In present, the Seoul City is undergoing traffic congestion problems caused by rapid urbanization and population growth. Thus the City government has reorganized the mass transportation system since 2004 and the subway has become a very important means for public transit. Since the subway system is typically a closed environment, the indoor air quality issues have often raised by the public. Especially since a huge amount of PM (particulate matter) is emitted from ground tunnels passing through the subway train, it is now necessary to assess the characteristics and behaviors of fine PM inside the tunnel. In this study, the concentration patterns of $PM_1$, $PM_{2.5}$, and $PM_{10}$ in the Seoul subway line-2 were analyzed by real-time measurement during winter (Jan 13, 2015) and summer (Aug 7, 2015). The line-2 consisting of 51 stations is the most busy circular line in Seoul having the railway of 60.2 km length. The the one-day average $PM_{10}$ concentrations were $148{\mu}g/m^3$ in winter and $66.3{\mu}g/m^3$ in summer and $PM_{2.5}$ concentrations were $118{\mu}g/m^3$ and $58.5{\mu}g/m^3$, respectively. The $PM_{2.5}/PM_{10}$ ratio in the underground tunnel was lower than the outdoor ratio and also the ratio in summer is higher than in winter. Further the study examined structural types of underground subsections to explain the patterns of elevated PM concentrations in the line-2. The subsections showing high PM concentration have longer track, shorter curvature radius, and farther from the outdoor stations. We also estimated the outdoor PM concentrations near each station by a spatial statistical analysis using the $PM_{10}$ data obtained from the 40 Seoul Monitoring Sites, and further we calculated $PM_{2.5}/PM_{10}$ and $PM_1/PM_{10}$ mass ratios near the outdoor subway stations by using our observed outdoor $PM_1$, $PM_{2.5}$, and $PM_{10}$ data. Finally, we could develop pollution maps for outdoor $PM_1$ and $PM_{2.5}$ near the line-2 by using the kriging method in spatial analysis. This methodology may help to utilize existing $PM_{10}$ database when managing and control fine particle problems in Korea.

IoT 기반 지하역사 내 바이오필터시스템 설치에 따른 실내공기질 변화 및 영향 요인 분석 (Analysis of Changes and Factors Influencing IAQ in Subway Stations Using IoT Technology after Bio-Filter System Installation)

  • Background: Subway stations have the characteristics of being located underground and are a representative public-use facility used by an unspecified number of people. As concerns about indoor air quality (IAQ) increase, various management measures are being implemented. However, there are few systematic studies and cases of long-term continuous measurement of underground station air quality. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze changes and factors influencing IAQ in subway stations through real-time continuous long-term measurement using IoT-based IAQ sensing equipment, and to evaluate the IAQ improvement effect of a bio-filter system. Methods: The IAQ of a subway station in Seoul was measured using IoT-based sensing equipment. A bio-filter system was installed after collecting the background concentrations for about five months. Based on the data collected over about 21 months, changes in indoor air quality and influencing factors were analyzed and the reduction effect of the bio-filter system was evaluated. Results: As a result of the analysis, PM10, PM2.5, and CO2 increased during rush hour according to the change in the number of passengers, and PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations were high when a PM warning/watch was issued. There was an effect of improving IAQ with the installation of the bio-filter system. The reduction rate of a new-bio-filter system with improved efficiency was higher than that of the existing bio-filter system. Factors affecting PM2.5 in the subway station were the outdoor PM2.5, platform PM2.5, and the number of passengers. Conclusions: The IAQ in a subway station is affected by passengers, ventilation through the air supply and exhaust, and the spread of particulate matter generated by train operation. Based on these results, it is expected that IAQ can be efficiently improved if a bio-filter system with improved efficiency is developed in consideration of the factors affecting IAQ and proper placement.
