We present competition protocols to speed up the execution of sequential programs on a network of shared workstations in the background by exploiting their wasted computing capacity, without interfering with processes of workstation owners. In order to argue that competition protocols are preferable to migration protocols in this situation, we derive the closed form solutions for the speedup of competition protocols and migration protocols, and simulate both of protocols under comparable overhead assumptions. Based on our analytic results and simulation results, we show that competitive execution is superior to process migration, and that competitive execution can finish sequential programs significantly faster than noncompetitive execution, especially when the foreground load is sufficiently high.

Trusted Execution Environment(TEE) is an execution environment provided by CPU hardware to gain guarantee that the execution context is as expected by the execution requester. Remote attestation of the execution context naturally arises from the concept of TEEs. Many implementations of TEEs use cryptographic remote attestation methods. Though the implementation of attestation may be simple, the implementation of verification may be very complex and heavy. By using a server delegating the verification process of attestation information, one may produce lightweight binaries that may verify peers and establish a secure channel with verified peers.

기업은 지속적인 경쟁 우위를 확보하기 위해 전략을 수립하고 추진하는 과정에서 변화가 심한 시장의 소리를 정확히 수집할 수 있는 역량과 이를 위한 비즈니스 프로세스의 구축 및 관리를 해야 한다. 비즈니스 프로세스의 수립, 운영, 개선, 평가 등 프로세스와 관련된 전 과정에서 업무 규칙과 프로세스를 정의하고 측정하여 기업의 문화에 맞게 프로세스를 정확하고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 기업에서 수행하는 업무에 대해 규칙과 프로세스를 룰로 정의하여 프로세스의 정확한 수행을 가능하게 하고자 한다. 또한, 프로세스 수행의 주체인 개개인의 역량에 대한 정확한 데이터의 수집과 반영을 통해 프로세스 수행 결과에 대한 결함을 미리 예방할 수 있고 프로세스 개선점을 식별할 수 있는 기반 환경을 제안하였다. 이로써 룰로 표현한 업무 지식과 프로세스를 활용하여 높은 가시성을 확보할 수 있으며 철저한 측정 데이터 기반의 프로세스 개선을 통해 프로세스 중심의 업무 문화(혹은 시스템)를 조직에 정착시키는데 일조할 수 있다.

Under increased complexity and uncertainty of overseas construction projects, it is important for construction companies to improve their own project risk management capabilities instead of risk-taking strategies to secure competitiveness in the overseas construction market. Although most of the risks occur in project execution stage, many previous studies focused on planning stage including risk identification and analysis among PRM process. Therefore, this study aims to verify the effectiveness of whole PRM process during project execution stage through empirical study on participants of overseas construction projects. As the result it was found that first, the factor directly affects the project success is the execution process of PRM. It implies that appropriate actions such as appointing charged manager for risks, timely implementation of responding plan, continuous risk monitoring and updating established plan are the key for contribution to the project success. Second, the importance of communication in PRM is also found, which is not conducted at a specific but throughout the entire PRM process and need to be managed as essential factor for successful PRM..

생산관리 시스템은 생산 공정 내의 모든 자원의 공정단위 생산계획을 현장에서 실행하는 것은 물론 생산 관련 품질 데이터까지 다루는 공장정보화시스템이다. 인공지능으로 자동화와 연결성이 극대화되는 4차 산업혁명이 화두가 되면서 제조업체들은 스마트 공장 구축에 관심을 보이나 막대한 구축비와 표준화되지 않은 생산 공정은 스마트 공장구축에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 그래서 본 논문은 노후화된 공장에서 스마트 공장 구축을 위한 제조관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 철강 선재 공정을 위한 기초 수준의 스마트 공장을 목표로 Web 기반의 제조공정 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 REST API를 사용하여 기존 구축된 ERP 시스템과의 연동을 원활히 지원할 것이며 다양한 기기와 다양한 브라우저에서 사용할 수 있도록 확장성을 고려할 것이다. 제안한 WoT 기반 생산관리시스템을 구현하여 실용성을 보이겠다.

본 연구는 과학고등학교 입학전형에 인재상을 고려하는 개선 방향을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 과학고등학교 인재상과 역량을 '공공성'과 '효용성', '수행'과 '성과' 유형으로 구분하였는데, 대부분 '공공성-수행'이 우세하였다. 다음으로 3개 과학고등학교의 입학전형에서 인재상 반영 정도와 개선 방향에 대한 설문조사를 과학고등학교 교사, 교육 전문가, 중학교 교사 총 28명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 설문의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 1단계 전형에서는 '공공성' 평가가 매우 제한적이었고, '성과' 중심으로 선발하는 경향이 높았다. 둘째, 2단계 면접 평가에서는 '효용성-성과' 중심으로 선발하는 경향이 매우 강했다. 셋째, 1단계 전형에 '역량 중심의 자기소개서 작성, 학교생활기록부의 타 교과 성적 및 비교과 반영, 전문가의 면담'을 도입하여 '공공성-수행' 유형의 인재상에 부합하는 학생선발로 개선해야 한다. 넷째, 2단계 면접 평가에서 '공공성-수행' 유형의 인재상을 반영하기 위해서는 발산적 사고가 가능한 융합적이고 개방형 문항의 공동 출제가 이루어져야 한다. 결론적으로 과학고등학교 입학전형에 인재상을 고려하는 개선 방향은 역량 중심의 1단계 서류평가와 개방형 문항으로 구성된 2단계 면접 평가로 변화되어야 한다는 것이다.

There have been numerous research and development efforts to automate business processes or execute business processes automatically. Especially, Web service is considered to be one of the most promising technologies. Existing Web service composition languages such as BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) and BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) do not provide full semantic support for business processes. This paper proposes a 3-layer model that consists of business process layer and service layer which can seamlessly integrates business process semantics with service semantics. The proposed model and architecture will enable effective management of business processes as well-defined corporate assets, services that execute tasks to achieve goals of business processes, and software components that comprise services.
