응급외상 환자 시뮬레이션 적용 효과 (Implementation Effects of Emergency Trauma Patient Simulation)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore EMT-paramedic students' experience of simulation education and analyze the confidence before and after education, learning attitude and course evaluation. Method: Research survey was conducted on 38 EMT-paramedic students during November, 2011 and EMT-paramedic students' experience of simulation education was analyzed after applying head, spinal, and chest injury scenario. The confidence before and after education, learning attitude and course evaluation in gender were analyzed by Mann-Whitny U test and the difference of confidence before and after education was analyzed by Wilcoxon signed rank test and learning attitude & course evaluation were analyzed by evaluating frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation by using SPSS WIN 17.0 program. Results: 1. Students experienced various advantages such as increasing interest and self-reflection on learning, critical thinking ability, and EMT-paramedic-role experience and recognition of importance of teamwork. Students also pointed out disadvantages such as gap between real situation and simulation, limit of time and equipments, and burden of demonstration. 2. The confidence between before and after education, learning attitude and course evaluation in gender were not significant different statistically. 3. Confidence mean score elevated from 5.53(before education) to 5.87(after education), but the difference in their confidence did not show significant difference statistically. 4. Total mean score in learning attitude after simulation education was 3.70 out of 5.00, which is considerably very high. 5. Total mean score in course evaluation was 3.89 with score of 3.83 in evaluation in learning environment and 3.99 in evaluation of debriefing. Conclusion: The finding of this study demonstrate that the simulation education can provide a safe and repetitive practice environment, improve problem-solving ability and critical thinking, and increase the confidence in prehospital emergency care; therefore, simulation may be the new effective EMT-paramedic education strategy.

세계문화유산의 관리효과성 평가체계 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on Construction of Management Effectiveness Evaluation System for World Cultural Heritage)

  • 본 연구는 '등재된 세계문화유산은 지금 얼마나 잘 관리되고 있는가?'라는 물음에서 시작하였다. 본 연구는 선행 연구 성과를 기초하여 국제적 요구사항에 부응하면서 세계문화유산의 관리특성이 반영된 관리효과성 평가지표들을 중심으로 네트워크 구조의 의사결정과정(ANP)을 통해 각 평가지표별 가중치와 우선순위를 도출하였다. 따라서 세계문화유산의 관리현황을 평가할 수 있는 평가체계가 구축되었다. 또한 이러한 평가지표들 간의 상대적인 중요도를 토대로 100점을 기준으로 변환점수 계산을 통하여 세계문화유산의 관리효과성 평가지표들에 대해 점수화하여 평가점수표를 작성하였다. 그리고 세계문화유산의 관리현황에 대해 평가할 때 최종 평가점수 등급은 매우 부족, 부족, 보통, 양호, 우수 등 5개 등급을 설정하였다. 이러한 결과를 중심으로 후속연구를 전망하였다.

대학의 프로젝트기반 수업에서 팀 활동에 대한 동료평가와 자기평가의 특성 및 활용방안 (Characteristics and Utilization of Peer-evaluation and Self-evaluation of Team Activities in University Project Based Classes)

  • In this paper, the characteristics of peer-evaluation and self-evaluation of team activity participation in project-based learning and their usability were investigated. The characteristics of peer-evaluation and self-evaluation are as follows. First, in peer-evaluation and self-evaluation of project-based learning, the correlation between the two evaluation scores was very high. When students' scores from their peers correlate very well with the scores they give themselves, it means that they apply the same criteria to their peers and to themselves when evaluating team activity. Second, there was no difference in peer-evaluation and self-evaluation scores between groups with different written test scores. The fact that peer-evaluation and self-evaluation scores do not change according to academic ability shows that the two evaluation areas are independent. Third, the self-evaluation score in project-based learning is statistically significantly higher than the score received from peers. This raises doubts about the fairness of self-evaluation. Therefore, in this paper, it is suggested that self-evaluation of team activities in project-based learning is carried out together with peer-evaluation, but only peer-evaluation is reflected in credits.

임상실습 입문교육에서 형성평가 후 되먹임 및 재시험의 효과 (Evaluation of the Effects of Feedback and Remediation after Formative Assessment in the Introduction to Clinical Medicine)

  • The authors investigated the effect of feedback and remediation after formative assessment (FRFA) by comparing the FRFA score and that of summative assessment (SA) in a course on clinical skills. In March 2015, 33 subjects underwent evaluation of their ability to perform a complex clinical skill using a real-time ready-made mobile assessment form tool, and through e-mail they were supplied with their feedback and final score (the pass group earned 2 points; the intermediate group earned 1 point; the nonpass group earned 0 points) followed by their self-reflection. The nonpass group underwent a re-test and e-mail feedback again until they passed the test, given the ease of performance. In December 2015, the 33 subjects took a 10-item SA, and one of the 10 items addressed a similar clinical skill. The difference between the first score on the FRFA and the score on the SA was evaluated statistically (p=0.05) through data analysis, variance distribution, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis using SPSS software ver. 16. The increase from the score on the SA to that on the FRFA was statistically significant ($4.5{\pm}9.29$) in the pass group and the intermediate group, and was $29.7{\pm}11.49$ in the nonpass group of the formative evaluation (p<0.001). Using an FRFA could decrease the range in the standard deviation of the score and increase the minimum score among the subjects.

Quantifying Quality: Research Performance Evaluation in Korean Universities

  • Research performance evaluation in Korean universities follows strict guidelines that specify scoring systems for publication venue categories and formulas for co-authorship credit allocation. To find out how the standards differ across universities and how they differ from bibliometric research evaluation measures, this study analyzed 25 standards from major Korean universities and rankings produced by applying standards and bibliometric measures such as publication and citation counts, normalized impact score, and h-index to the publication data of 195 tenure-track professors of library and information science departments in 35 Korean universities. The study also introduced a novel impact score normalization method to refine the methodology from prior studies. The results showed the university standards to be mostly similar to one another but quite different from citation-driven measures, which suggests the standards are not quite successful in quantifying the quality of research as originally intended.

Rib-eye의 조리기구 및 조리방법에 따른 물성 연구 (A Study on Rheology of the Rib-eye Cooked by Cooking Method and Cooking Utensil)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the physico-chemical properties during the rib-eye preperation while cooked rib-eye and fine sensory evaluation by various cooked utensil (oven, fry-pan and microwave). 1) Change of moisture contents of sauce-pan boiling cooker was lower than boiling by preasure cooker and fat content of sauce-pan boiling was higher than preasure cooker boiling. 2) Degree of cholesterol of cooker meat was not change for content of cholesterol during the boiling preperation but progressively decreased in order of well-done steak < medium steak < rare steak measured by cholesterol analysis. 3) Sensory evaluation conducted by fine graduate as panelists showed that oven steak and fry-pan steak had higher score of sensory evaluation. While microwave steak had the lowest score all sensory profile score.

천년초 열매 분말을 첨가한 절편의 품질특성 (Quality Properties of Jeolpyun supplemented with Cheonnyuncho (Opuntia humifusa))

  • This study was undertaken to investigate the effect of Opuntia humifusa on the improvement of quality properties of Korean Jeolpyun. Chemical and mechanical properties of unsupplemented Jeolpyun and Jeolpyun supplemented with 1%-4% O. humifusa. Also, a sensory evaluation by a trained panel was conducted. Concerning color difference, the L value decreased, but a and b values increased as O. humifusa content increased. Texture analysis revealed that hardness, cohesiveness and adhesiveness were the highest in the unsupplemented control group. The texture parameters decreased as the O. humifusa addition ratio increased. In sensory evaluation, color and taste scores were highest score in 2% O. humifusa supplemented samples, with no difference in flavor being evident. Chewiness and adhesiveness scores were highest score in 4%-supplemented O. humifusa samples. Overall quality score was highest in the 2% O. humifusa samples. The addition of $2{\sim}3%$ O. humifusa optimizes Korean Jeolpyun.

균형성과지표(BSC) 개념의 건설기업 성과평가모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Performance Evaluation Model Utilizing BSC(Balanced Score Cards) for Construction Firms)

  • 정보와 지식의 활용 제고는 건설기업에게도 중요한 경영목표의 하나이며 이러한 내외부 경영환경의 변화는 전통적인 재무제표에 의한 기업의 성과평가만으로는 그 다양한 경영성과를 평가하는데 한계를 가지게 되었다. 이러한 기업의 다양한 내외부 경영성과를 평가하기 위해서는 기업의 핵심역량에 대한 새로운 성과평가의 모델이 요구되고 있다. 그러므로 전통적인 재무적 평가지표에 더하여 고객지표, 학습과 성장지표, 내부프로세스지표의 4개 평가지표를 종합적으로 포함하는 균형성과지표인 BSC(Balanced Score Cards)개념을 건설기업에 적용하여 건설기업의 특성에 맞는 새로운 성과평가모델을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 국내외 건설기업의 비전과 전략을 분석하여 전략적 특성의 공통점을 건설기업의 특성으로 먼저 파악한 뒤, 건설기업의 경영목표에 대한 성과관리의 측면에서 건설기업의 경영환경에 맞는 성과평가의 모델을 개발하고 성과평가지표들의 사례를 제시하였다.

AHP기법을 활용한 임도의 재해위험 등급 구분에 관한 연구 (A Study on Classification of Disaster Risk Rating for Forest Road Using AHP Methodology)

  • 본 연구는 임도의 재해위험 등급을 구분하기 위한 평가표를 제시하고자 수행되었으며, 이를 위해 임도의 재해에 영향을 미치는 인자들을 선정하고 산림공학 전문가들을 대상으로 AHP 설문조사를 실시하였다. 평가항목은 전문가집단의 자문을 통해 크게 자연환경, 인문 사회환경, 임도의 구성요소로 구분하였으며, 총 21개의 평가인자로 구성하였다. 설문조사결과를 바탕으로 각 평가항목에 대한 가중치 분석을 실시하였으며, 분석결과 임도의 구성요소 항목 중 배수시설이 가장 높은 가중치를 점하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, AHP 분석결과를 바탕으로 각각의 평가항목에 대한 평가기준과 평가점수를 부여하여 평가표를 작성하였다. 도출된 평가표를 현장조사에 적용시킨 결과 최고점은 78.8점, 최저점은 42.7점, 평균점수는 61.8점으로 나타났다. 산정된 점수를 바탕으로 전문가 집단의 회의를 통해 임도의 재해위험 등급을 4등급으로 구분하여 제시하였다.

유아 언어학습용 단어게임 애플리케이션 분석 (Contents Analysis of Vocabulary Learning Game Application on Smart-Phone and Tablet PC for Young Children's Language Learning)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 현재 사용되는 유아 언어학습용 단어게임 애플리케이션의 내용 및 수준을 평가하고, 한글과 영어 단어 게임 애플리케이션 간의 차이가 어떠한지를 파악하는 것이다. 분석대상은 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC 애플리케이션 다운로드 센터에서 제공하는 유아 언어학습용 단어게임 애플리케이션으로 영어단어게임 애플리케이션, 한글단어게임 애플리케이션 각 30개씩이다. 분석도구는 CTR(Children's Technology Review)에서 개발한 소프트웨어 평가 도구(Children's Software Evaluation Instrument), 박희숙, 이영주(2007)의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 평가 준거, 최수의(2003)의 모바일 콘텐츠 평가 준거를 참고로 유아의 발달적 특성을 고려하여 수정 보완한 평가 준거를 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 전체 단어게임 애플리케이션의 분석결과는 평가영역별 중 교육적 가치에서 가장 높은 점수를 받았으나, 디자인의 특성에서는 가장 낮은 점수를 받았다. 한글 영어 단어게임 애플리케이션 간의 비교에서는 영어단어게임 애플리케이션이 한글단어게임 애플리케이션보다 전체적으로 모든 영역의 점수가 높았다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아를 위한, 발달적으로 적합한 게임 애플리케이션의 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.
