Euclidean Voronoi diagram of spheres in 3-dimensional space has not been explored as much as it deserves even though it has significant potential impacts on diverse applications in both science and engineering. In addition, studies on the data structure for its topology have not been reported yet. Presented in this, paper is the topological representation for Euclidean Voronoi diagram of spheres which is a typical non-manifold model. The proposed representation is a variation of radial edge data structure capable of dealing with the topological characteristics of Euclidean Voronoi diagram of spheres distinguished from those of a general non-manifold model and Euclidean Voronoi diagram of points. Various topological queries for the spatial reasoning on the representation are also presented as a sequence of adjacency relationships among topological entities. The time and storage complexities of the proposed representation are analyzed.
A PCR-founded genetic analysis aim and principle was used to foster a hierarchical polar dendrogram of the Euclidean genetic distances (GDs) for two arkshell populations, Scapharca broughtonii (YEOSU, Yeosu population and JINHAE, Jinhae population). Five oligonucleotides primers were make use of to craft 354 and 390 scorable bands in the Yeosu and Jinhae populations, respectively, outspreading in DNA fragment size from 100 bp to 1,600 bp. The bandsharing (BS) results disclosed that the Jinhae population had a higher average BS value (0.700) than that for the Yeosu population (0.692). The GD between individuals supported an adjacent association in grouping II (JINHAE 12 - JINHAE 22). The observation of a noteworthy GD between the two Scapharca populations verified that this PCR-generated technique could be a profitable attempt for within- and between-population-grounded biological DNA scrutiny. The potential of PCR inquiry will be favorable in the selection of individuals and/or populations for several reproductive- and/or quarantine-connected characters in aquafarming manufacture.
The main purpose of the paper is to prove that if a compact Riemannian manifold admits a gradient ${\rho}$-Einstein soliton such that the gradient Einstein potential is a non-trivial conformal vector field, then the manifold is isometric to the Euclidean sphere. We have showed that a Riemannian manifold satisfying gradient ${\rho}$-Einstein soliton with convex Einstein potential possesses non-negative scalar curvature. We have also deduced a sufficient condition for a Riemannian manifold to be compact which satisfies almost ${\eta}$-Ricci soliton.
In this paper, Stokes parameters which represent the states of polarization of transmitted light are determined by potential function, which is used to obtain signals points in a multidimensional Euclidean structure. And performance of multilevel polarization shift keying(POLSK) system using the obtained parameters is also represented and analyzed. As results, bit error rate of multilevel POLSK system using the potential function is shown to be lower than the conventional one using the distance matrix. And as number of levels increases, the number of photons per bit for bit error rate of 10$^{-9}$ is also increased linearly. The multilevel POLSK system, therefore, is an energy efficient modulation technque as compared with the convnetional ones.
This paper is the third of a series in which smoothness properties of function in several variables are discussed. The germ of the whole theory was laid in the works by Folland and Stein [4]. On nilpotent Lie groups, they difined analogues of the classical $L^p$ Sobolev or potential spaces in terms of fractional powers of sub-Laplacian, L and extended several basic theorems from the Euclidean theory of differentaiability to these spaces: interpolation properties, boundedness of singular integrals,..., and imbeding theorems. In this paper we study the analogue to the extension theorem for the Folland-Stein spaces. The analogue to Stein's restriction theorem were studied by M. Mekias [5] and Y.M. Kim [6]. First, we have the space of Bessel potentials on the Heisenberg group introduced by Folland [4].

Background: The human mandible is variable in shape, size and position and any deviation from normal can affect the facial appearance and dental occlusion. Objectives: The objectives of this study were to determine whether the Sassouni cephalometric analysis could help predict two-dimensional mandibular shape in humans using cephalometric planes and landmarks. Materials and methods: A retrospective computerised analysis of 100 lateral cephalometric radiographs taken at Kingston Hospital Orthodontic Department was carried out. Results: Results showed that the Euclidean straight-line mean difference between the estimated position of gonion and traced position of gonion was 7.89 mm and the Euclidean straight-line mean difference between the estimated position of pogonion and the traced position of pogonion was 11.15 mm. The length of the anterior cranial base as measured by sella-nasion was positively correlated with the length of the mandibular body gonion-menton, r = 0.381 and regression analysis showed the length of the anterior cranial base sella-nasion could be predictive of the length of the mandibular body gonion-menton by the equation 22.65 + 0.5426x, where x = length of the anterior cranial base (SN). There was a significant association with convex shaped palates and oblique shaped mandibles, p = 0.0004. Conclusions: The method described in this study can be used to help estimate the position of cephalometric points gonion and pogonion and thereby sagittal mandibular length. This method is more accurate in skeletal class I cases and therefore has potential applications in craniofacial anthropology and the 'missing mandible' problem in forensic and archaeological reconstruction.
Concentric hyperspheres in the n-dimensional Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^n$ are the level hypersurfaces of a radial function f : $\mathbb{R}^n{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$. The magnitude $||{\nabla}f||$ of the gradient of such a radial function f : $\mathbb{R}^n{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ is a function of the function f. We are interested in the converse problem. As a result, we show that if the magnitude of the gradient of a function f : $\mathbb{R}^n{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ with isolated critical points is a function of f itself, then f is either a radial function or a function of a linear function. That is, the level hypersurfaces are either concentric hyperspheres or parallel hyperplanes. As a corollary, we see that if the magnitude of a conservative vector field with isolated singularities on $\mathbb{R}^n$ is a function of its scalar potential, then either it is a central vector field or it has constant direction.
We have investigated the escape rate of nano-magnetic particle with a magnetic field applied along the easy axis. The model studied here is described by the Hamiltonian H=$K_1\hat{S}{_z^2}$ + $K_2\hat{S}{_y^2}$ + $g{\mu}_bB$$\hat{S}_x(K_1>K_2>0)$ and the escape rate was calculated with in the semiclassical approximation. We have obtained a diagram for orders of the phase transition depending on the anisotropy constant and the external field. For $K_2$/$K_1>$0.85 the present model reveals the existence of the first order transition within the quantum regime.

Effective recommendation of similar business groups is a critical factor in obtaining market information for companies. In this study, we propose a novel method for enhancing similar business group recommendation by incorporating derivative criteria and web crawling. We use employment announcements, employment incentives, and corporate vocational training information to derive additional criteria for similar business group selection. Web crawling is employed to collect data related to the derived criteria from 'credit jobs' and 'worknet' sites. We compare the efficiency of different datasets and machine learning methods, including XGBoost, LGBM, Adaboost, Linear Regression, K-NN, and SVM. The proposed model extracts derivatives that reflect the financial and scale characteristics of the company, which are then incorporated into a new set of recommendation criteria. Similar business groups are selected using a Euclidean distance-based model. Our experimental results show that the proposed method improves the accuracy of similar business group recommendation. Overall, this study demonstrates the potential of incorporating derivative criteria and web crawling to enhance similar business group recommendation and obtain market information more efficiently.

This paper compares the four selections of performance used in the application of genetic algorithms (GAs) to automatically optimize multispectral pixel cluster for unsupervised classification from KOMPSAT-3 data, since the selection among three main types of operators including crossover and mutation is the driving force to determine the overall operations in the clustering GAs. Experimental results demonstrate that the tournament selection obtains a better performance than the other selections, especially for both the number of generation and the convergence rate. However, it is computationally more expensive than the elitism selection with the slowest convergence rate in the comparison, which has less probability of getting optimum cluster centers than the other selections. Both the ranked-based selection and the proportional roulette wheel selection show similar performance in the average Euclidean distance using the pixel clustering, even the ranked-based is computationally much more expensive than the proportional roulette. With respect to finding global optimum, the tournament selection has higher potential to reach the global optimum prior to the ranked-based selection which spends a lot of computational time in fitness smoothing. The tournament selection-based clustering GA is used to successfully classify the KOMPSAT-3 multispectral data achieving the sufficient the matic accuracy assessment (namely, the achieved Kappa coefficient value of 0.923).
