Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore professional ethics and awareness of education among dental technicians. Methods: A total of 250 questionnaires were produced and distributed to dental technicians from June 1 to October 30, 2019. Of these questionnaires, 106 were used in the final analysis. Results: More than half of respondents said that the state-run dental company has very strong ethical values. Higher levels of confidence in the professional mission of dental work were correlated with stronger ethical values. Moreover, those who had greater experience of training in the code of ethics for dental technicians exhibited a firmer sense of their professional mission. Conclusion: In the education process for dental technicians, attention should be given to establishing and practicing professional ethics. Guidelines and programs should be revised accordingly to build awareness of ethical practices in the workplace.

This study utilizes social big data to investigate the factors influencing the awareness, attitude, and behavior toward vegan fashion consumption among global and Korean consumers. Social media posts containing the keyword "vegan fashion" were gathered, and meaningful discourse patterns were identified using semantic network analysis and sentiment analysis. The study revealed that diverse factors guide the purchase of vegan fashion products within global consumer groups, while among Korean consumers, the predominant discourse involved the concepts of veganism and ethics, indicating a heightened awareness of vegan fashion. The research then delved into the factors underpinning awareness (comprehension of animal exploitation, environmental concerns, and alternative materials), attitudes (both positive and negative), and behaviors (exploration, rejection, advocacy, purchase decisions, recommendations, utilization, and disposal). Global consumers placed great significance on product-related information, whereas Korean consumers prioritized ethical integrity and reasonable pricing. In addition, environmental issues stemming from synthetic fibers emerged as a significant factor influencing the awareness, attitude, and behavior regarding vegan fashion consumption. Further, this study confirmed the potential presence of cultural disparities influencing overall awareness, attitude, and behavior concerning the acceptance of vegan fashion, and offers insights into vegan fashion marketing strategies tailored to specific cultures, aiming to provide vegan fashion companies and brands with a deeper understanding of their consumer base.

Purpose: This descriptive study examined awareness of and ethical attitudes associated with Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders in 119 emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Method: In total, 255 paramedics and basic EMTs completed questionnaires between March and May, 2013. Data were analyzed using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results: A chi-square analysis revealed significantly different responses given by paramedics and basic EMTs: Paramedics gave "the reason in which DNR is not necessary", as being "due to unclear DNR decision time" whereas basic EMTs answered that this was "due to a legal problem" ($x^2$ = 12.680, p < .05). Paramedics disagreed with the statement, "It is natural for medical teams to have less interest in patients with DNT orders", whereas basic EMTs agreed with the statement ($x^2$ = 6.666, p < .05). Conclusion: A unified manual on attitude toward DNR orders, taking account of social and culture factors, needs to be developed. This research provides a base line for future research.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the ethical awareness and attitude of patients' families towards Do-Not-Resuscitate(DNR), and thus provide basic information required to develop Korean appropriate DNR instructions and practice informed consent for DNR. Methods: During April 2010, 219 patient family members visiting the hospital were surveyed using a questionnaire. Results: Most of the participants preferred DNR to meaningless treatment for incurable patients. They recognized the necessity of explaining DNR to the patient with a terminal disease. They also requested DNR orders for themselves if they were in the same medical condition. In making a DNR decision, the patient's family agreed and preferred that it reflect the opinion of the patient and the doctor in charge. They also agreed that treatment should be given with the best efforts even if a DNR decision had been made for the patient. Conclusion: To make a decision on DNR for a patient who is terminally ill or for whom survival is not possible, a practice of informed consent and guidelines for executing the DNR reflecting the patient's opinion are required.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to derive clues about the development direction of research ethics and areas of interest which has recently become a social issue in Korea by confirming overseas research trends. Research design, data and methodology: We collected 2,760 articles in scienceON, which including 'research ethics' in their paper. For analysis, frequency analysis, word clouding, keyword association analysis, and LDA topic modeling were used. Results: It was confirmed that many of the papers were published in medical, bio, pharmaceutical, and nursing journals and its interest has been continuously increasing. From word frequency analysis, many words of medical fields such as health, clinical, and patient was confirmed. From topic modeling, 7 topics were extracted such as ethical policy development and human clinical ethics. Conclusions: We founded that overseas research trends on research ethics are related to basic aspects than Korea. This means that a fundamental approach to ethics and the application of strict standards can become the basis for cultivating an overall ethical awareness. Therefore, academic discussions on the application of strict standards for publishing ethics and conducting researches in various fields where community awareness and social consensus are necessary for overall ethical awareness.

This study investigated the effect of the level of ethics in food manufacturing of agricultural products processing companies on food safety and product trust. In general, a company's food manufacturing ethics is complex, includes social responsibility, and has a potential impact on stakeholders. The main implications summarized based on the analysis results are the expansion of the HACCP application of the agricultural product processing system, the production of safe agri-food that fulfills social responsibilities with an ethical awareness, including entrepreneurial awareness, from raw materials to processing, packaging, and distribution from a long-term perspective. It was found that it was necessary to secure product trust and to provide education, consulting and management on ethical awareness.

본 연구는 인공지능 기술 또는 서비스를 수용하는 사용자의 이용의도를 알아보기 위하여 기술준비도와 기술수용 모델의 융합과 동시에 인공지능 윤리를 고려한 모델로 확장시킴으로써 인공지능을 접한 사용자들이 인공지능에 대해 현재까지 형성하고 있는 인식을 분석하였다. 독립변인은 낙관성, 투명성, 윤리의식, 이용자 중심성이며 독립변인의 영향을 받는 잠재변인으로 지각된 유용성 과 지각된 사용용이성이 포함되었고 종속변인으로 이용의도를 잠재변수로 정의하였다. 2020년 9월 5일~10월 12일까지 전국의 만 17세 이상 남녀를 대상으로 실시한 온·오프라인 설문조사 결과(N=260)가 구조방정식 모형분석에 활용되었다. 연구결과는 첫째, 낙관성은 지각된 유용성과 사용용이성에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 윤리적 인식(투명성, 윤리의식, 이용자중심성)은 지각된 유용성과 사용용이성에 유의미한 영향이 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 지각된 유용성과 사용용이성은 최종적으로 이용의도에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 지각된 유용성이 사용용이성에 비해 비교적 높은 영향력을 나타냈다. 연구의 결과는 인공지능 기술발전의 초기 단계에서 윤리성 인식을 높이기 위한 다각적인 노력의 기초 자료로서 중요한 토대가 될 수 있다.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 팬데믹에 대한 윤리인식과 표준주의 건강신념 요인을 조사하고, 이들이 표준주의 수행도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 3개의 대학에 재학 중인 163명이었고, 구조화된 설문지를 통해 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0의 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation 및 multiple regression을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 표준주의 수행도는 윤리인식(r=.17, p=.033), 지각된 민감성(r=.33, p<.001), 지각된 심각성(r=.24, p=.003) 및 지각된 유익성(r=.35, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계가, 지각된 장애성(r=-.31, p<.001)과 음의 상관관계가 있었다. 표준주의 수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 회귀모형은 유의한 것으로 나타났고(F=8.09, p<.001), 지각된 유익성(β=.20, p=.014)과 지각된 장애성(β=-.20, p=.008)이 표준주의 수행도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로 나타났으며, 회귀모형의 설명력은 18.1%이었다. 본 연구를 통해 간호대학생의 표준주의 수행도를 높이기 위해 윤리인식과 함께 표준주의 건강신념 요인 중 유익성 및 장애성을 고려한 체계적인 감염관리 교육프로그램 마련이 필요하다.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate factors affecting the awareness of internet ethics and intention to practice internet ethics in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 254 dental hygiene students in the Jeonnam area from September 1 to 22, 2017. The data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 12.0 program. Results: Factors affecting the awareness of internet ethics were personal information sensitivity (${\beta}=0.242$, p<0.01) and ethical identity(${\beta}=0.185$, p<0.05) (Adjusted $R^2=0.143$). The factor related with intention to practice internet ethics was personal information sensitivity (${\beta}=0.464$, p<0.001) (Adjusted $R^2=0.212$). Conclusions: To improve the awareness of internet ethics and intention to practice internet ethics in dental hygiene students, it is necessary to promote internet ethics education in as a part of curriculum and develop internet ethics education's program to enhance personal information sensitivity and ethical identity.

최근 인터넷을 사용하는 연령대가 점점 낮아지고 있어 초등학교 정보통신 윤리교육의 필요성과 중요성이 강조되고 있으며, 다양한 정보통신 윤리 교재 개발과 교사 연수 등이 실시되고 있으나 교사와 학부모 대다수는 학교, 사회, 가정에서 정보통신 윤리교육이 매우 미흡하다고 보고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 효율적인 정보통신 윤리교육을 위해 초등학생의 정보통신 윤리의식 수준을 진단하고, 학생뿐만 아니라 교사와 학부모에게도 진단에 따른 적절한 처방을 제시함으로써 학생 개개인의 수준에 맞는 정보통신 윤리교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 시스템을 개발하여 적용하였다. 적용한 결과 학생은 자신의 정보통신 윤리의식 수준을 자각할 수 있었고, 스스로 문제를 해결할 수 있는 정보를 제공받았다. 교사와 학부모는 학생의 의식 수준을 파악하여 그에 따른 다양한 지도 자료와 방법을 안내받음으로써 효율적인 정보통신 윤리교육을 할 수 있는 계기가 되었다.
