영확률에 기반한 적응 이퀄라이져의 최적조건 (Optimum Conditions of Adaptive Equalizers Based on Zero-Error Probability)

  • 신호처리에서 영확률을 성능기준으로 하는 적응 알고리듬들은 충격성 잡음 환경에서 우수한 성능과 안정된 수렴을 보인다. 이 논문에서는 MSE 성능기준과 비교분석을 통해 영확률 성능기준이 MSE와 동일한 최적해를 가진다는 것을 증명한다. 또한 이 연구를 통해, 영확률 기반 알고리듬의 크기 조정된 입력이 충격성 잡음으로부터 최적해가 방해 받지 않도록 유지해주는 역할을 하고 있음을 보인다.

  • The ampere-hour integral method and the open circuit voltage method are integrated via the extended Kalman filter method so as to overcome insufficiencies of the ampere-hour integral method and the open circuit voltage method for estimating battery SOC. The process noise covariance and the measurement noise covariance of the extended Kalman filter method are simplified based on the Thevenin equivalent circuit model, with a proposed simplified SOC estimating method. Verification of DST experiments indicated that the battery SOC estimating method is simple and feasible, and the estimated SOC error is no larger than 2%.

CPX 및 Pass-by 계측을 이용한 단독 주행 차량의 음향파워 평가 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of Sound Power for a Travelling Vehicle Using CPX and Pass-by Measurements)

  • This paper presents a novel method to determine sound power level(PWL) emitted by a travelling vehicle for road traffic noise simulation. The PWL is evaluated by the equivalent sound pressure level (SPL) measured by close proximity method and the sound power correction factor derived from the maximum SPL measured by pass-by method and the propagation attenuation of vehicle noise during the pass-by measurement. Using the method, we derive the empirical formula for PWL estimation in 1/1-octave and overall frequency bands for 8 vehicles (automobile, SUV, small truck, large bus, trailer, 3 dump trucks) tested at two road surfaces (dense graded asphalt, 30mm transverse tinning concrete) of Korean highway test road. The suggested approach, if securing sufficient data to represent the acoustic characteristics of all vehicle types, has il strong merit to be able to evaluate sound power levels for any combination of vehicle categories and traffic volumes.

디지털 MMDS 하향변환기용 저 위상잡음 주파수 합성기의 설계 (Design of Low Phase Noise Frequency Synthesizer for Digital MMDS Downconverter)

  • 본 논문에서는 저 위상잡음과 고안정 특성을 나타내는 디지털 MMDS용 위상고정 발진기를 설계하였으며 전압제어 발진기용 능동소자의 비선형 등가모델에 의하여 저 위상잡음 파라미터와 안정된 전압제어 발진기의 필요충분 조건을 분석하였다. 설계된 전압제어 발진기에 위상고정루프를 적용하여 위상고정 마이크로파 발진기를 구현하였으며 고안정 전압제어 발진기에 대하여 시뮬레이션한 결과 -90dBc/Hz @ 10KHz의 위상잡음을 보였으며 위상고정 마이크로파 발진기에 대한 실험 결과 -85dBc/Hz @ 10KHz의 위상잡음을 얻었다. 고안정도와 저 위상잡음특성을 나타내는 위상고정 마이크로파 발진기의 설계모델을 디지털 MMDS 단말기용 고안정 주파수 합성기로 응용할 수 있음을 보였다.

청주지역 환경소음도 조사 및 분석 (Assessment and Analysis of Noise Pollution in Cheongju Area)

  • The increase of economic growth has brought out the noise pollutions in city regions. To evaluate these problems, this study was investigated to assessment and analysis of noise pollutions at Cheongju area in winter and summer seasons. The noise levels were measured and analyzed at the general areas the 4 roadside areas (park, residential, commercial, and industrial area). As a result, following facts have been found. The equivalent sound levels(Leq) at general are in winter were 51.3∼78.2 dB(A) at the daytime and 41.1∼63.1 dB(A) at the nighttime And in summer there were 53.5∼77.3 dB(A) at the daytime and 41.9∼64.0 dB(A) at the nighttime, respectively. These values were higher than average value of Korea. At the roadside area, the values of Leq were 51.9∼72.8 dB(A) at the daytime, 44.3∼68.2 dB(a) at the nighttime in winter, and in summer there were 62.5∼73.1 dB(A) at the daytime and 50.4∼68.3 dB(A) at the nighttime, respectively. These values were lower than average value of Korea. The calculated traffic noise index(TNI) were 64.6∼93.6 at the daytime and 26.5∼106.6 at the nighttime in winter, In summer, there were 65.0∼90.7 at the daytime, and 32.3∼91.8 at the nighttime. The TNI values varied wide ranges at the nighttime according to traffic volumes.

상호 정보 에너지와 델타함수를 이용한 알고리즘의 충격성 잡음에 대한 강인성 (Robustness to Impulsive Noise of Algorithms based on Cross-Information Potential and Delta Functions)

  • 이 논문에서는 델타함수와 상호 정보 에너지(cross information-potential with the delta functions, CIPD)에 기반한 블라인드 등화 알고리즘의 최적 가중치를 유도하고 충격성 잡음에 대해 가지는 강인성에 대해 분석하였다. CIPD 알고리즘의 입력에 대한 크기조절 기능이 정상상태 가중치를 충격성 잡음으로부터 안정되게 유지하는 주된 역할을 하는 것으로 분석되었으며 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여, CIPD 알고리즘의 정상상태 가중치는 MSE 성능기준의 최적해를 가지면서도, 충격성 잡음에서 MSE에 기반한 LMS 알고리즘과 달리, 안정된 값을 유지함을 보였다.

소음측정방법에 따른 평가소음도 비교 (A Comparison of Noise Level by Noise Measuring Methods)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the difference of noise level according to noise measuring methods in the noisy working environments. Sound pressure level(SPL), equivalence sound level(Leq) and personal noise exposure dose(Dose) in the fifty-nine unit workplaces of the twenty-eight industries were measured and relating factors which were affected noise level were investigated. The results were as follows ; 1. The noise levels were $88.70{\pm}5.68dB(A)$ by SPL, $89.07{\pm}5.41dB(A)$ by Leq and $89.07{\pm}5.69$ by Dose. The differences of noise levels by three measuring methods were statistically significant(P<0.001) by repeated measure ANOV A. 2. Comparing with noise levels by general classes of noise exposure, noise levels of continuous noise were $89.14{\pm}5.19dB(A)$ by SPL, $89.45{\pm}4.65dB(A)$ by Leq and $90.04{\pm}5.09$ by Dose. Noise levels of intermittent noise were $87.90{\pm}6.52dB(A)$ by SPL, $88.40{\pm}6.63dB(A)$ by Leq and $90.10{\pm}6.80$ by Dose. The differences noise level of noise measuring methods by general classese of noise exposure were statistically not significant by repeated measure ANOV A. 3. Interaction between general classese of noise exposure and noise measuring methods for noise level was not statistically significant by repeated measure ANOVA. And the noise level by noise measuring methods were statistically significant by repeated measure ANOV A(P<.001) 4. Comparing with noise levels by unit workplace size, noise levels of large unit workplace were $90.73{\pm}5.87dB(A)$ by SPL, $91.32{\pm}5.50dB(A)$ by Leq and $91.82{\pm}6.06$ by Dose and noise levels of middle unit workplace were $88.31{\pm}5.26dB(A)$ by SPL, $88.41{\pm}4.83dB(A)$ by Leq and $89.69{\pm}5.05$ by Dose. And noise levels of small unit workplace were $94.89{\pm}4.10dB(A)$ by SPL, $85.35{\pm}4.11dB(A)$ by Leq and $86.87{\pm}4.98$ by Dose. The noise level differences of noise measuring methods by unit workplace size were statistically significant by repeated measure ANOV A(P<.05). 5. The noise level by noise measuring methods were statistically significant by repeated measure ANOV A(P<.001). But Interaction between workplace size and noise level measuring methods for noise level was not statistically significant by repeated measure ANOVA. According to the above results, there was a difference of the noise level among the three measuring methods. Therefore we must use the personal noise exposure dose using by noise dose meter, possible, to prvent occupational hearing loss in noisy working environment.

아파트 건설노동자 소음 노출평가 (Assessment of Apartment Building Construction Workers' Noise Exposure)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study is to measure and assess the occupational noise exposure levels among construction workers at apartment building construction sites in South Korea. Methods: Noise exposure assessments were conducted for 139 construction workers across 10 different trades at 53 apartment building construction sites in the northern part of Gyeonggi-do. Assessments were carried out using a noise dosimeter set with a 90 dB criterion, an 80 dB threshold, and a 5 dB exchange rate over a period of more than 6 hours(LMOEL) Results: The mean LMOEL (equivalent continuous noise level over 8 hours) for the 139 dosimeter samples was 87.8 ± 4.3 dBA. The mean noise exposure level for each construction trade, referred to as the trade mean, was also calculated. Significant differences in noise exposure levels were observed between construction trades (ANOVA, p < 0.001). The highest LMOEL values were recorded for concrete chippers (93.2 ± 2.6 dBA), followed by ironworkers (88.4 ± 0.7 dBA), concrete finishers (88.3 ± 2.7 dBA), masonry workers (87.7 ± 1.9 dBA), pile driver operators (85.6 ± 1.7 dBA), concrete carpenters (84.9 ± 2.4 dBA), interior carpenters (83.5 ± 2.1 dBA), and other groups (81.4 ± 2.2 dBA). Conclusions: The findings suggest that nearly all construction workers in this study are at risk of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). Moreover, the study establishes that construction trades can serve as a useful metric for assessing noise exposure levels at apartment construction sites.

DLL 보드 상에 코어 및 I/O 잡음에 의한 칩의 성능 분석 (Analysis of Chip Performance by Core and I/O SSN Noise on DLL Board)

  • 이 논문은 코어와 I/O 회로가 포함된 PEEC(Partial Equivalent Electrical Circuit) PDN(Power Distribution Networks)의 임피던스 변화에 따른 칩의 성능 분석을 나타내었다. I/O 전원에 연결된 코어 전원 잡음이 I/O 스위칭에 어떠한 영향이 미치는지 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 보였다. 또한 직접 설계한 $7{\times}5$인치 DLL(Delay Locked Loop)시험 보드를 사용하여 칩의 동작 지점에 따른 전원 잡음의 효과를 분석하였다. $50{\sim}400MHz$에 주파수 대역에 따른 DLL의 지터를 측정하고 시뮬레이션 결과로 얻어진 임피던스 값과 비교하였다. PDN의 공진 피크가 100MHz 주파수에서 1옴보다 큰 임피던스를 갖기 때문에 DLL의 지터는 주파수가 100MHz 근처에서 증가함을 보여준다. 타겟 임피던스를 줄이기 위한 방법인 디커플링 커패시터에 따른 칩과 보드의 임피던스 변화를 보였다. 따라서 전원 공급망 설계는 디커플링 커패시터와 함께 코어 스위칭 전류와 I/O 스위칭 전류를 같이 고려해야 한다.
