  • This thesis examines the effects of entrepreneurship on the career maturity of middle school students through moderating the effects of 5 personality factors. For that purpose, we have conducted a survey for 500 middle school students. We measured three aspects suggested by Kang Byung Ho (2011) for the entrepreneurship. The career maturity test for middle and high school students(Yim un and so on, 2012) to test the career maturity of middle school students and measure items suggested by Lee Tae Gyu and Yun Hye Hyun(2008) to test the five-factor model as a tool. The results were acquired using an SPSS 22.0 program to analyze the research results as follows. Hypothesis 1. 'How much entrepreneurship has an effect on the career maturity of middle school students?' This has shown that the higher the entrepreneurship is, the higher the career attitude and career probing ability is. At the same time, the risk-taking in entrepreneurship has no significant effect on the career preparation action. Hypothesis 2. 'The five-factor model will affect the controlling of the relationship between entrepreneurship and the career maturity (career attitude, career probing ability and career preparation action) of middle school students.' This five-factor model has affected the relationship between the entrepreneurship and career attitude, the sub-area of career maturity. However, it has not affected the career probing ability and career preparation action, another sub-area of the career maturity. This study is useful because we have probed the effect of entrepreneurship on the career maturity of middle school students and the control-effect of the five-factor model. We suggest that this study will give a chance to middle school students to realize their career, to probe and design their career and to cultivate their ability to live a active life in 21th century.

  • Entrepreneurship works as a driving force in socio-economic innovation, the leading role in job creation and economic development. As the importance of entrepreneurship is increased, research on entrepreneurship training methods based on the capability model is vitalized in order to effectively develop entrepreneurship in the EU and OECD. In Korea, however, the research on entrepreneurship capability is nearly not proceeding while the outcome of entrepreneurship training is insufficient. The research, therefore, invented the entrepreneurship training model at K university after analyzing cases of entrepreneurship training from inside and outside of the country followed up through the theoretical consideration of entrepreneurship capability and collecting suggestions from experts. The training model rejects the existing economics-based theory education, focuses on the development of entrepreneurship capability, and suggests an educational process considering students' developing stage of entrepreneurship capabilities.

  • There are lots of specialized graduate schools such as law school, medical school, business school. These specialized graduate schools has been designed to train the special experts practically from 1990s in Korea. For all that, there are no specialized graduate schools supported by the Small and Medium Business Administration(SMBA). So we will research the establishment plan of SME(Small and Medium Enterprise) specialized school for the development of SMEs. Recently, the SMBA supports the 2 types of graduate school such as the entrepreneurship graduate school and consulting graduate school. However, it is clear that these 2 types of schools are yet insufficient in terms of efficiency and redundancy. As the representative specialized graduate schools are law school and MOT(Management of Technology) in Korea, we do the comparative study with law school and MOT school. Through the comparative study, we can find some implication for SME specialized graduate school. As a result, the SME school has to need the training system such as the special master's and doctor's degree, over 3 year course work, daytime class, many practical professors, specialized programs with industry like the MOT school. In conclusion, we suggest that : First, the SME specialized graduate school has to be designed for potential SME consultants. Second, the entrepreneurship graduate school and the consulting graduate school can be integrated into the SME specialized school easily. Third, the SME specialized graduate school can have new educational models.

  • The model of success in South Korea from a pariah state coming from the ruins of the Korean War into a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) with a trillion dollar economy is encouraging. The Korean economic experience in terms of entrepreneurship and poverty reduction is an intriguing jig saw puzzle to researchers. This paper looks at Korean entrepreneurship history from the 1960s and how it shaped the contemporary sustainable economic development success of the Korean economy. Using a qualitative approach, the study used the Korean case study in comparison with Sub Saharan Africa to explore five powerful lessons on how the region can replicate the Korean entrepreneurship experience. The study shows that entrepreneurship was key to the radical transformation of its economy and government was instrumental in latent nurturing of Korean entrepreneurial spirit.
