Green Entrepreneurship: A Study for Developing Eco-Tourism in Indonesia

  • This study aims to determine (1) the inhibiting factors and solutions in the development of eco-tourism, and (2) how green entrepreneurship can be used for eco-tourism development. The increasing issue of global warming is pushing awareness of environmental preservation. This condition changes the people's paradigm in traveling from the concept of mass-tourism to the concept of eco-tourism. The development of eco-tourism has consequences for entrepreneurial activities which is known as green entrepreneurship. This study is applied research conducted in East Lombok, one of the regions in Indonesia. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling covering a total of 34 informants. Data collection methods are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Based on the data analysis, the findings of this study show that (a) inhibiting factors of eco-tourism development are limitation of eco-tourism knowledge, lack of awareness in environmental preservation, and absence of supporting government policy; and (b) solution for eco-tourism development discovered in this research is divided into five factors i.e., condition, demand, related industry and support, strategy, government. Besides, for applying the green entrepreneurship model i.e., developing the spirit of green entrepreneurship, training in making products and services that are environmentally friendly is needed.

A Study of the Entrepreneurship and Social Capital in Organizational Performance

  • In this study, we used 170 copies of the 190 questionnaires from March 18 to April 20, 2018, except for 20 that can't be used as statistical value. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between organizational entrepreneurship and social capital, organizational performance, and the relationship between entrepreneurship and social capital. The main implications of this study are as follows. First, the entrepreneurship of the executives recognized by the organization members has a positive influence on the social capital in the organization. In other words, the higher the entrepreneurship of management, the higher the social capital in the organization. Second, the effect of the entrepreneurship of the management on the organizational performance is shown to have a statistically significant positive effect. In other words, the entrepreneurship of management was a key factor in achieving organizational performance. Third, social capital in the organization has a statistically significant effect on organizational performance. In order to improve organizational performance, it is necessary to systematically improve and reinforce entrepreneurship and social capital in management. On the other hand, it is considered that the executives' entrepreneurial spirit consistent with the characteristics of the company type, management environment, and organizational members should be continuously demonstrated, and the implementation plan for the social capital in the organization should be developed. Therefore, high quality organizational performance for corporate sustainability management emphasized the importance of executive power on the systematic and continuous implementation of management entrepreneurship and the improvement of social capital for strengthening cohesion.

창업 프로세스를 지원하는 온라인 창업 교육 시스템 수용 의도 연구 (The Acceptance Intention of Online Start-up Education Systems for Start-up Process)

  • Recently, the start-up firms have been under the spotlight because they can create many jobs and are regarded as the growth engine of a country in the fourth industrial revolution. Moreover, after the global financial debacle, many countries emphasize on an entrepreneurial spirit and venture firms. they also pay attention to the importance of educations to promote the start-up firms. In this work, based on technology acceptance model, we try to identify the main factors of accepting online start-up education system. We first defined this system as the online start-up education system which refers to a system to support learning for knowledge, experiences and overall process of start-up firms' tasks. This system also simulates tasks related with prep-entrepreneur so that can be regarded as a kind of decision support systems. As this system has some characteristics, we confirmed some factors of extended technology acceptance model. In our experiments, we find that the perceived ease of use and trust are main factors of acceptance for the online start-up education systems. These results mean that the system should be made to be easy and trustful for their users. Therefore, we expect that this work will be helpful to researchers and developers who consider start-up education systems and provide a way to activate founding start-up firms.

  • The purpose of this study is to extract keywords for 'startup' and 'entrepreneurship' from Naver news articles in Korea since 1990 and Google news articles in foreign countries, and to understand the changes in the meaning of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in each era It is aimed at doing. In summary, first, in terms of the frequency of keywords, venture sprouting is a sample of the entrepreneurial spirit of the government-led and entrepreneurs' chairman, and various technology investments and investments in corporate establishment have been made. It can be seen that training for the development of items and items was carried out, and in the case of the venture re-emergence period, it can be seen that the youth-oriented entrepreneurship and innovation through the development of various educational programs were emphasized. Second, in the result of vocabulary network analysis, the network connection and centrality of keywords in the leap period tended to be stronger than in the germination period, but the re-leap period tended to return to the level of germination. Third, in topic analysis, it can be seen that Naver keyword topics are mostly business-related content related to support, policy, and education, whereas topics through Google News consist of major keywords that are more specifically applicable to practical work.

Too Big to Fail: Succession Challenge in Large Family Businesses

  • This study investigated the main concerns and strategies in Indonesian large family businesses to undertake intergenerational succession effectively. The research data was obtained to shed light on the incumbents' mindsets, key preferences, and experiences during the succession process. Access to incumbents of large family businesses that are conglomerates is scant. The preceding survey research was conducted to sensitize with the intricacy of the intergenerational succession process in large family businesses before entailing interpretative phenomenology analysis of qualitative data from interviews, observations, and field notes by approaching family members in five conglomerate groups that have major impacts on the economy. The findings explicate the incumbents' preferred criteria in choosing their successors as well as their perceived concerns revolving around the appointment. Additionally, the incumbents' succession approaches such as apprentice learning by successors, adaptability to external forces by successors, nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit in successors, governance establishment in the firms, business interest stimulation in successors, role modeling by incumbents, and collaboration between family and key non-family members are elicited during the intergenerational succession process. This study concluded with noteworthy implications for incumbents and successors in large family businesses, especially providing explicit criteria and strategies to appoint suitable successors, and suggesting potential avenues for future research.

스타트업부동산 예비창업가의 기업가정신이 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 창업교육의 조절효과를 중심으로 (A study on the impact of entrepreneurship Start-up founders estate on profit: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of entrepreneurship education)

  • 본 연구는 스타트업 부동산 예비창업가의 기업가정신이 창업의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이들 사이에 창업교육이 조절효과를 갖는지를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 스타트업 부동산 예비 창업자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, SPSS 18.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스타트업 창업가의 성취욕구와 벤처선호는 종속변수인 창업의도에 유의하였으며 정(+)의 방향으로 나타났다. 이는 성취욕구가 높거나 벤처를 선호하는 창업가는 창업의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 창업의도의 내용으로 의도된 태도, 계획행동을 들 수 있는데, 이러한 창업의도요인은 창업의도의 각 주요내용이 어느정도 영향을 미친다고 볼 수 있다. 독립변수의 요인이 의도에 미치는 영향관계에서 조절변수로서 창업교육에 따라 차이가 있을 것을 밝히려고 했으나, 의도된 태도와 계획행동 등의 일부에서만 조절변수를 보이는 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구는 스타트업부동산의 성공적인 활성화를 진작시킬 수 있는 정책입안 및 시행의 기초적인 정보를 제공하고 사업체의 창업 및 운영을 성공적으로 인도할 수 있는 정보지식을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대한다. 다만, 데이터의 지역적 한계에 따른 대표성의 문제와 창업의도 요인의 스스로의 한계가 있으나 향후 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 보완할 필요가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 126년간 제약업을 이어온 동화약품의 핵심가치를 분석하고 꾸준히 경쟁우위를 가질 수 있었던 핵심역량을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. VRIO Framework을 적용했을 때 126년간 액상형 소화제 시장에서 1위를 지키고 있는 동화약품의 '활명수'를 비롯한 다양한 일반의약품은 '지속적 경쟁우위'를 발생시키는 강력한 자원(Value)이다. 동화정신을 바탕으로 지켜온 원칙경영과 오랜 시간 굳건히 지켜온 믿음, 신뢰 그리고 기업가 정신은 희소성(Rarity)을 가진다. 기네스북 4관왕을 비롯한 다수의 신약 특허를 보유하고 있으며, '한국산업 브랜드파워' 소화제 부문 19년 연속 1위를 차지하며 '골든 브랜드'에 선정되었을 뿐 아니라 다수의 제품이 소비자에게 인지도가 매우 높은 점 등은 모방불가능성(Imitability)이 높다고 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 명확한 직급체계, 공정한 인사고가, 다양한 교육훈련, 높은 수준의 직원복지와 연봉 등 자원을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 조직(Organization)되어 있다. 본 연구는 동화약품의 경영적 측면에서 핵심가치를 체계적으로 분석하였으며 더불어 장수기업으로 나아가기 위한 방향을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 장기적인 경영전략 수립 시 유용한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

스타트업 기업의 국제마케팅역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Global Marketing Capabilities on Export Outcomes of Korean Startup Firms)

  • This study is to explore the ways to increase the export performance of start-up companies, as opportunities are rising along with more companies entering the global market. Thus the study analyzed the factors affecting export performance of the start-up company by mainly looking at the international marketing capabilities of enterprises type of marketing strategy and internal environmental capabilities. The following were derived as factors for marketing 4P strategy: innovation of product, flexibility of export price, differentiation of distribution channels, diversity of promotional activities, and positive-ness of promotion. For internal capabilities of enterprises, innovation of CEO, initiative of CEO, risk susceptibility of CEO, information power of export market, and information power of competitor were derived as factors. Two types of performances were considered for export performance, financial and non-financial. Among innovation of product and risk susceptibility of CEO the non-financial performance of export performance, and only differentiation of distribution channels of marketing 4p strategy the financial performance. It showed that since performance was different depending on the entrepreneurship of the CEO, only innovative products differentiated from small and medium enterprises. risk susceptibility of CEO increased export outlook by corporate acknowledgment and image, creation of potential customers, and financial performance affected only differentiation in distribution channel rather than entrepreneurial spirit, information power, or organizational flexibility because of short business career and insufficient period enough to gain trust. Therefore, start-up companies need to improve their non-financial export performance by increasing innovation of product and risk susceptibility of the CEO. The companies need to widen the differentiation of distribution channels in the financial export performance.

대학생의 현장실습교육이 진로탐색에 미치는 영향 : 진취성의 조절효과 (The Effect of Field Practice of College Students on Career Search: Moderating Effect of Enterprising)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장실습교육이 대학생의 진로탐색에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 심리적 변인인 진취성의 조절효과를 검정하였다. 이를 위해 현장실습에 참여한 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 193개의 데이터를 분석한 결과 현장실습의 실효성과 기관적합성은 진로탐색 역량을 높여주는 요인으로 나타났다. 또한, 개인의 진취성은 조절변수로서 실습실효성과 기관적합성이 진로탐색 역량에 미치는 영향을 강화시키는 요인으로 분석되었다. 따라서 현장실습은 대학생의 진로탐색에 도움을 주는 교육프로그램으로 검증되었으며, 진취성과 같은 심리적 특성은 진로역량에 작용할 수 있는 요인으로 입증되었다. 대학은 양질의 실습기관 발굴하여 올바른 현장실습 교육을 유지해야 하며, 진로 관련 심리적 역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 사전교육 프로그램을 마련할 필요가 있다.

초보창업자의 부동산 이중거래사고 예방을 위한 경영전략 (Real Estate Management Strategy for The Prevention of Accidents Stater Founder Double Deal)

  • 처음 창업을 하게 되면 성공과 실패의 순간을 맛보게 된다. 창업의 조건은 자신의 적성에 맞는 자금력 있는 입지선정과 강인한 창업가정신 등의 경영전략이 필요하다. 그런데 초보창업자는 부동산 거래에 있어서 이중매매와 같은 불의의 사고가 발생하는 경우가 있다. 우리나라 부동산거래 관행은 체계적인 도움을 받기 어려우며, 법률적으로 해결되었다고 하더라도 피해자의 피해는 그대로 남게 되는 어려운 문제가 발생하게 된다. 따라서 그동안 법률적으로 이중매매를 배임죄 등으로 가해자를 처벌하는 문제를 넘어서 이제는 피해를 입은 피해자에 대한 경영학적 접근을 통한 전략이 필요한 때이다. 부동산의 이중매매와 같은 거래사고에 대하여 초보창업자에게 부동산 거래사고 예방을 위한 경영전략은 어떠한지에 관하여 검토 해 보기로 한다.
