강우재현 모형실험과 SWCC Cell 실험에 의한 화강암질 풍화토의 함수특성곡선 (Soil Water Characteristic Curve of the Weathered Granite Soil through Simulated Rainfall System and SWCC Cell Test)

  • 강우재현장치를 제작하고, 강우 및 사면조건에 따라 강우재현 모형실험과 함수특성곡선실험(SWCC Cell Test)을 실시하여 불포화 특성에 관해 연구하였다. 그 결과를 이용하여 강우에 따른 침투거동 특성과 함수특성곡선 모델들의 불포화된 화강암질 풍화토에 대한 적용을 검토하였다. 강우재현 모형실험의 습윤과정(강우재현)과 건조과정(방치)에서 계측된 체적함수비와 모관흡인력을 비교한 결과 체적함수비는 $2{\sim}5%$, 모관흡인력은 $3{\sim}10\;kPa$ 정도 값의 차이를 보여 이력현상을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한, 모관흡인력의 값이 체적함수비의 값에 비해 상대적으로 큰 차이를 보여 모관흡인력에 이력거동이 더 큼을 확인할 수 있었다. 강우재현 모형실험과 함수특성곡선실험에서 얻은 결과로부터 구한 함수특성곡선을 비교하면, 습윤과정과 건조과정에서 두 방법 모두 근접한 함수특성곡선을 얻을 수 있었으나, 두 방법 모두 습윤과정과 건조과정에서의 결과는 차이가 있었다. 이로써 불포화토의 특성을 고려한 보다 합리적인 설계나 안정검토에 함수특성곡선을 적용시킬 때에는 습윤과정에서는 습윤과정 함수특성곡선을 건조과정에서는 건조과정 함수특성곡선을 적용하는 것이 합당할 것으로 여겨진다.

  • This paper presents the characteristic analysis by changing the shape and position of auxiliary pole core for Automotive stater motor. The brush contact resistance and mechanical loss calculated from the experimental data are used in characteristic analysis. The Finite Element Analysis Method(FEM) and 3D Equivalent Magnet Circuit Network(EMCN) are used for analysis. The validity of the proposed methods are verified by comparison of analysis results and experimental ones.

  • This paper presents the characteristic analysis of Double-Sided Linear Synchronous Generator for wave power generation under different operating conditions. FEM is applied to analyze performance of generator at no-load and load with variable resistance. Moreover, the validity of characteristic analysis is confirmed through the experimental work.

A New Definition of Short-circuit Ratio for Multi-converter HVDC Systems

  • In this paper, a new definition of short-circuit ratio concept for multi-converter HVDC systems is proposed. Analysis results of voltage interaction between converters show that the reactive power-voltage characteristic of a converter has a dominant effect on voltage interaction level compared with its active power-voltage characteristic. Such a relation between converter reactive power and voltage interaction level supports taking the former into account in the definition of short-circuit ratio concept for multi-converter systems. The proposed definition is verified by the method of maximum power curve for various system configurations. Furthermore, a formula to calculate transient overvoltage for multi-converter systems is derived based on the proposed definition, and the efficiency of the derived formula is verified.

재활용을 위한 폐아스팔트 혼합재의 역학적 특성 (The Engineering Characteristic of Asphalt Waste for Recycling)

  • The asphalt waste has been collected more than ten thousands' ton from repairing works on the road and excavation repair works, most of them are disposed on land of reclamation. Only a few percentage of wasted asphalt recycled to new one. Therefore, In this study, usage of wasted asphalt and has been done engineered characteristic test for recycling materials of sub-grade and structure. To know the characteristic of asphalt waste, tamping test, bearing-ratio test, permeability test and direct shear test was done using asphalt-sand mixture. The test results shows that, mixed asphalt materials with sand can be used for materials of subgrade-soil and structure.

  • Poly-Si TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is a electronic device that can be applied to the field of large area electronics such as AMLCD. We have fabricated the poly-Si TFT with lateral body terminal that is counter-doped body electrode and investigated the electrical characteristics of it. The lateral body terminal being short with s terminal, we have measured the transfer charac (Vg-ld) and the output characteristic (Vd-ld) fabricated devices. The measured result showe only that leakage current in OFF-state was re and Kink effect in ON-state was suppressed bu that in output characteristic curve the output Id was sustained constantly with the output v Vd in the saturation region.

  • The effect of reaction parameters in the characteristic of $Pb(Zr_{0.52}Ti_{0.48})O_3$ (below nominal PZT) powders by SHS was investigated in this study. In the preparation of PZT, the effect of starting material contents, pressure, additive on phase fraction and morphology was investigated respectively. The optimum condition of PZT powders were prepared by SHS is $0.37Pb_3O_4+0.52ZrO_2+0.48TiO_2+0.35KClO_3+0.5C,\;(P_{Ar}= 50 atm)$. The PZT powder synthesized in this condition had an spherical shape and the particle size of 0.8$\mu$m.

  • Recently, a new method for reconstructing a forced nonlinear dynamic system has been proposed; specifically, the simultaneous reconstruction of its excitation as well as restoring characteristics of the system. The reconstruction was just theoretically shown to be possible by measuring the system's responses, based on newly introduced notions, a J-function and a zero-crossing time. However, numerically in the current paper, we are to reconstruct a linear system, i.e., we focus on numerical experiments to reconstruct both the excitation and the linear restoring characteristic of a linear forced oscillating system by using response data, based on the J-function and the zero-crossing time.

  • Capacitor-run single induction motors have the unbalanced elliptic rotating magnetic field so that it is difficult to analyze the characteristic and calculate the accurate slot leakage reactance of the rotor with the closed slot by using the lumped parameter. In this paper, the characteristic is analyzed by the symmetrical coordinate method in terms of the lumped parameter coupled with the numerical analysis. The secondary parameters are calculated by the one slot pitch boundary condition applying to Finite Element Method (FEM). The analysis results are compared with experimental ones.

  • In this paper, the characteristic of the Linear DC motor(LDM) are analyzed by using 3 Dimensional Equivalent Magnetic Circuit Network (3D EMCN), the movement of mover substitutes for the movement of magnetization in permanent magnet expressed by Fourier series, thrust characteristic analysis is performed and the appropriateness of analysed result is verified by comparing with the results of 2 Dimensional Finite Element Method (2D FEM) and experiment.
