트랙터 차실의 소음 저감에 관한 연구 (Noise Reduction study in the Tractor Cab)

  • This paper investigates the noise reduction scheme in tractor cabin by using various steps of experiment. The experiments were performed in the field as well as in the lab to facilitate the detail test procedure. Some of the test results were compared with computational results. Several noise sources and paths were identified including the engine compartment (cooling fan and timing gear cover), hydraulic system and its components (hoses, tubes and there mount) and structural characteristics of the cab, window, mounting bracket and machine frame including steps. Throughout the several design changes, cab noise level was reduced from 80.2dBA to 74.8dBA.

  • A computer-aided robust design (CARD) technique is developed to search for the design variables, optimal as well as robust in the sense of Taguchi method. The CARD technique can effectively handle inequality problems by employing the variable penalty method, and dynamic problems with many design variables and/or with mixed discrete and continuous variables. It is also capable of providing contributions of each design variables to the object funtion and information for future designs. As the illustrative examples, two dynamic systems, engine mounting system and in-line feeder, are treated.

탑재형 발전기 적용에 따른 이상소음 개선 방안에 관한 연구 (A study on the way to improve abnormal noise by applying vehicle fitting type generator)

  • 본 연구는 소형전술차량에 적용된 탑재형 발전기에 의해 발생되는 이상 소음 개선방안에 대한 것이다. 소형전술차량은 탑재형 발전기의 장착 유·무로 구분되며, 개발 시험 시 이에 따른 소음 크기의 차이는 없었다. 하지만, 차량을 운용하면서 사용자가 느끼기에 불쾌한 소음(이상 소음)이 발생된다는 지속적인 문제제기에 따라 품질개선을 수행하게 되었다. 품질개선을 수행하기에 앞서 탑재형 발전기 단품 및 장착 구조와 문제가 제기된 차량에 대한 현상 확인 및 원인 분석을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 탑재형 발전기 장착에 따라 발생하는 이상 소음은 래틀소음에 의한 것임을 확인하였다. 엔진 구동계에서 래틀소음이 발생되는 일반적인 원인은 엔진 폭발 행정시 발생되는 불규칙한 회전력의 전달과 엔진 연결기와 회전자 조립체 간 스플라인-세레이션 연결 구조에서 발생되는 기어 백래쉬에 의한 것이었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 원인으로 분석된 이상 소음의 원인을 해소하기 위해 댐퍼형 연결기를 적용하는 개선방안을 수립하였다. 개선 방안에 대해서는 엔진의 불규칙한 회전력의 영향성, 소음의 정도, 동특성 해석 및 단품 내구시험 등을 통해 개선효과를 확인하였다.

MFC 기반 하이브리드 전자보오드 검사를 위한 규칙기반 솔루션 설계 (Design of a Rule-Based Solution Based on MFC for Inspection of the Hybrid Electronic Circuit Board)

  • This paper proposes an expert system which is able to enhance the accuracy and productivity by determining the test strategy based on heuristic rules for test of the hybrid electronic circuit board producted massively in production line. The test heuristic rules are obtained from test system designer, test experts and experimental results. The guarding method separating the tested device with circumference circuit of the device is adopted to enhance the accuracy of measurements in the test of analog devices. This guarding method can reduce the error occurring due to the voltage drop in both the signal input line and the measuring line by utilizing heuristic rules considering the device impedance and the parallel impedance. Also, PSA(Parallel Signature Analysis) technique Is applied for test of the digital devices and circuits. In the PSA technique, the real-time test of the high integrated device is possible by minimizing the test time forcing n bit output stream from the tested device to LFSR continuously. It is implemented in Visual C++ computer language for the purpose of the implementation of the inference engine using the dynamic memory allocation technique, the interface with the electronic circuit database and the hardware direct control. Finally, the effectiveness of the builded expert system is proved by simulating the several faults occurring in the mounting process the electronic devices to the surface of PCB for a typical hybrid electronic board and by identifying the results.

자력을 이용한 하이브리드 고무 마운트 (Hybrid Rubber Mount by Using Magnetic Force)

  • This paper presents a hybrid rubber mount with magnet to isolate effectively the vibration in vehicle, forklift, and so on. The hybrid mount does not have any controller of the magnetic force. Dynamic stiffness of the mount is reduced by only magnetic suction according to the applied magnetic field and damping coefficient increased. Performance of conventional rubber mount with using electromagnet has been investigated by MTS Tester. The governing equation of the hybrid mount was derived and verified by comparison with experimental and theoretical results. The equation can be used practically and usefully in the design of the mount and analysis of the mounting system. The hybrid mount provides excellent performance in vibration isolation and its structure is very simpler than active with controller and a semi-active mount with a functional fluid. Furthermore, production cost of the mount using permanent magnets is very lower than that of the active mount with electromagnets. Therefore, commercial potential of the mount is very high.

태양광 발전 시스템의 시공간적 잠재성 평가 소프트웨어 개발 (Assessment of Distributed and Dynamic Potential of Photovoltaic Systems in Urban Areas)

  • This study presents a new method for coupling ArcGIS (popular GIS software) with TRaNsient SYstems Simulation (TRNSYS, reference software for researchers and engineers around the world) to use capabilities of the 4 and 5-parameter PV array performance models within the ArcGIS environment. Using the validated and industry-proven solar energy simulation models implemented in TRNSYS and other built-in ArcGIS functionalities, dynamic characteristics of distributed PV potential in terms of hourly, daily or monthly power outputs can be investigated with considerations of diverse options in selecting and mounting PV panels. In addition, the proposed method allows users to complete entire procedures in a single framework (i.e., a preliminary site survey using 3D building models, shading analyses to investigate usable rooftop areas with considerations of different sizes and shapes of buildings, dynamic energy simulation to examine the performances of various PV systems, visualization of the simulation results to understand spatially and temporally distributed patterns of PV potential). Therefore tedious tasks for data conversion among multiple softwares can be significantly reduced or eliminated. While the programming environment of TRNSYS is proprietary, the redistributable executable, simulation kernel and simulation engine of TRNSYS can be freely distributed to end-users. Therefore, GIS users who do not have a license of TRNSYS can also use the functionalities of solar energy simulation models within ArcGIS.

  • 로터크래프트의 동력전달장치용 기어박스는 엔진에서 생성된 동력을 승하강 및 전진 비행을 위한 팬 및 푸셔로 전달하며, 사용목적에 따라 메인기어박스, 보조기어박스로 구분된다. 로터크래프트 동력전달장치용 기어박스의 주 설계 목표는 주어진 요구사항(전달동력, 장착공간 등)을 모두 만족시키는 범위에서 가능한 경량화 설계를 하는 것이다. 특히 기어박스는 같은 기능을 하더라도 시스템 구성에 따라 전체 중량이 크게 달라질 수 있기 때문에 경량화를 위해서는 초기 개념 설계가 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 엔진의 장착 위치에 따른 기어박스의 다양한 개념 설계를 수행하였다. 또한 각 개념 설계에 따른 기어, 베어링 등의 요소부품 설계를 수행하여 시스템 구성에 따른 예상 중량을 비교 검토하였다.
