Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of grit on the work engagement of nurses and to identify the mediating effects of positive psychological capital and burnout in the relationship between grit and work engagement. Methods: The study subjects were 182 nurses who had been working in a general hospital for more than six months. The data were collected from July 12 to July 26, 2021. The collected 182 sets of data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and a hierarchical regression analysis using IBM SPSS statistics version 23.0 and also by bootstrapping using SPSS Process Macro. Results: As a result of the analyses, it was found that higher work engagement was associated with higher grit, higher positive psychological capital, and lower burnout. The mediating effects of positive psychological capital and burnout in the relationship between grit and work engagement were found to be both direct and indirect. Conclusion: This study provides basic data suggesting that an education program designed to reduce burnout and reinforce grit and positive psychological capital is necessary to promote the work engagement of nurses in clinical settings.

본 연구는 중학생의 학업성취만족도와 학업열의간의 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 파악하는 것을 목적으로한다. 이를 위해 경상남도 창원시 소재의 중학생 575명을 대상으로 학업성취만족도, 학업열의, 그릿에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구분석은 주요변인 간의 상관관계를 분석하기 위하여 상관분석을 실시하였고, 그릿의 매개효과를 파악하기 위해 Baron&Kenny의 분석절차에 따라 회귀분석을 실시하고, 매개효과의 유의성은 Sobel test로 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 상관분석 결과 학업성취만족도와 그릿 및 학업열의는 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 둘째, 회귀분석 결과 학업성취만족도와 학업열의사이에서 흥미유지와 노력지속은 모두 부분매개하였다. 이는 학업성취만족도가 중학생의 학업열의에 직접적인 영향을 주고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 그릿을 통해 간접적인 영향이 있음을 의미한다. 끝으로 중학생의 학업열의를 높이기 위해 학업과 관련된 흥미를 향상시키는 교육 및 상담방안과 다양한 학습동기향상프로그램 개발 등 학습상담의 방안을 논의하였다.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was two-fold: to identify the effect of dental hygienist's self-determination motivation on their job engagement and to analyze the moderating effect of compensation satisfaction that affect the relevance. Methods : Data were collected using a structured self-report questionnaire administered to 260 dental hygienists working in dental hospitals and clinics in Busan, South Korea. These were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26.0 and SPSS Process Macro 3.5. A frequency analysis, including the respondents' general characteristics, frequency, percentages, and standard deviations, was performed. A regression analysis was also performed using SPSS Process Macro to verify the moderating effect of compensation satisfaction in the effect of self-determination motivation on job engagement. Results : The self-determination motivation of the dental hygienists had a statistically significant positive effect on their job engagement, which was the dependent variable. Higher intangible compensation satisfaction levels led to a stronger effect of intrinsic motivation but a weaker effect of extrinsic motivation on job engagement. Moreover, higher tangible compensation satisfaction levels strengthened the effect of intrinsic motivation on job engagement. Conclusion : Recently, the demand for oral health care has been increasing, Competition in the dental medical service market warrants, high-quality dental services based on accurate diagnosis and treatment. In this context, dental hygienists' job engagement must be improved. For this purpose, increasing the satisfaction of dental hygienists with self-determination motivation and appropriate compensation is effective. In addition, attention must be paid to the moderating effect of compensation satisfaction on the relationship between intrinsic motivation and job engagement. On the basis of the implications of this study, the results can be used as basic data for improving dental hygienists' welfare system and manpower management.

본 연구의 목적은 소상공인의 학습목표지향성과 업무열의 관계에서 긍정심리자본의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구목적 달성을 위하여 중소기업중앙회 소상공인 지원 프로그램에 참여한 소상공인 300명의 설문결과를 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도 및 기술통계 분석, 신뢰도 및 타당도 분석, 상관관계 및 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 소상공인의 학습목표지향성은 긍정심리자본에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소상공인의 긍정심리자본은 업무열의에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소상공인의 긍정심리자본은 학습목표지향성과 업무열의 관계에서 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 소상공인의 학습목표지향성, 긍정심리자본 및 업무열의 증대를 위한 이론적 논의와 실천적 시사점을 제언하였다.

This study explored the relationship between post types and linguistic characteristics in marketer-generated content and social media engagement to find the optimized content to enhance social media engagement level. Post data of 23,588 marketer-generated content were collected from 50 states' destination marketing organization Facebook pages in the United States. The collected data were analyzed by employing social media analytics, linguistic analysis, multivariate analysis of variance, and discriminant analysis. The results showed that there are significant differences in both engagement indicators and linguistic scores among the three post types. Based on research findings, this research not only provided researchers with theoretical implications but also suggested practitioners the most effective content designs for travel destination marketing in Facebook.

In order to establish an effective engagement plan of the missile defense system, both spatial and temporal performance analysis of the intercept system should be performed. However, research on existing missile defense systems has been mainly focused on spatial performance. In this study, time performance factors are defined through the composition and operational concept of missile defense system, and the target ballistic missile interception process is presented as integrated timeline through ballistic missile model and radar model. We also proposed an algorithm for deriving time performance. Simulation results confirm that the time performance factors can be used in the engagement planning for multi-engagement through the example of engagement planning.

Purpose: With the rapid development of e-commerce, logistics services, as an important part of e-commerce shopping, have gradually attracted people's attention. Customer engagement behavior is a new topic in marketing, and its connotation is still being explored. The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between logistics service quality and customer engagement behavior. Research design, data and methodology: This study employed the method of online questionnaire survey, with Chinese e-commerce platform users as the survey objects, 248 valid survey sample data were collected, and the method of factor analysis and structural equation model analysis was used to verify the research hypothesis model constructed in this paper. Results: The four dimensions of e-commerce logistics service quality have different influences on customer satisfaction, and the influence of availability on customer satisfaction is not significant. Convenience, assurance, and security have a significant positive impact on customer satisfaction; Customer satisfaction has a significant positive impact on the three dimensions of customer engagement behavior: customer repeat purchase behavior, online word-of-mouth, and customer referrals. Conclusion: The results of this study will provide useful reference for the managers of e-commerce companies to improve customer engagement behavior by improving the logistics service quality.

Purpose: This research aims to explore the ramifications of job stress on cabin crews within the air service distribution sector, specifically examining its impact on service quality through mediating variables such as job satisfaction and engagement during the pandemic era. Research design, data and methodology: The study is based on a sample size of 312 individuals, exclusively comprising cabin crews employed in the airline industry. Methodologically, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were employed for statistical analysis. Results: The findings reveal that both performance evaluation and job responsibility exerted a significant impact on both job satisfaction and job engagement. Furthermore, job engagement demonstrated a substantial influence on service quality. However, in contrast, factors like unstable employment and the working environment showed no significant impact on either job satisfaction or engagement. Additionally, job satisfaction did not exert a significant influence on service quality. Conclusions: These insights will offer the valuable guidance to the airline industry in preparing for unforeseen external environments that may affect the industry. As the aviation sector navigates the challenges posed by the pandemic, understanding and addressing the intricate relationships among job stress, satisfaction, engagement, and service quality will be crucial for effective industry resilience and adaptation.

This study focuses on student engagement in Chinese middle school mathematics classrooms. By the recording and quantitative analysis on video case, this study explored the main acts and time of student engagement. The data showed that among the student engagements: (1) Students' responses to teacher's question occurred most frequently; (2) Collective responses were much more than the individual responses; (3) Students' responses and classroom practice spent the longest time; (4) The most frequent student engagements occurred in the aspects of classroom practice; and (5) Students rarely asked a question to teachers. The study also suggested that teacher's effective guidance could improve the level of student engagement and the content of classroom practice is very important to the quality of student engagement.

During the last decade, social live streaming service like Periscope, Ustream, and YouNow has developed from a niche market into a mainstream activity. In this media environment, social live streaming service has a tremendous impact on the social behaviors of users. Despite the rapid development, there are a lack of studies to make better understand the media environment changes through social live streaming service. This study adopted an affordances approach that leads us to identify six distinctive social affordances (visibility, accessibility, information sharing, social interaction, role-taking, interactive revenue) for user engagement in social live streaming service. Specifically, this study explores the impact of social affordances on perceived flow, followed by user engagement including passive and active engagement. Empirical data analysis with 258 questionnaires suggests that social affordances affected users' flow perception, and flow has an effect on active as well as passive engagement. Contrary to the expectation in a hypothesized research model, only the impact of accessibility on flow was rejected.
